ARC Raiders quest guide

ARC Raiders Trash into Treasure: Where to Find Wires and a Battery

Trash into treasure ARC Raiders asks you to collect six Wires and one Battery for Shani. Research and Administration on Dam Battlegrounds is the best single place to look for both, especially around computers and other tech containers. Keep the Battery in a safe pocket if possible, extract with what you find, and continue across multiple raids if you do not finish the full set at once.

Before you deploy

Trash into Treasure Requirements

You need six Wires and one Battery for Shani, and the materials must make it out of the raid with you. The quest works on any map, but Dam Battlegrounds gives you several strong Electrical and Technological loot areas.

  • Bring an augment with a safe pocket if you have one.
  • Leave enough inventory space for six Wires and one Battery.
  • Prioritise the Battery because it is usually the scarcer part of the objective.
  • Use the Binoculars granted at quest start only if they fit your route; they are not required for the collection itself.
Avoid wasting currency

Do Wires Bought from Celeste Count?

Do not rely on shop-bought Wires for this quest; farm or recycle the materials instead. That avoids spending currency on items that may not advance the collection objective.

For the safest route, treat looted and recycled Wires and Batteries as the valid path. This also gives you steady progress without depending on merchant stock.

Item-counting behaviour can vary between quests, so do not assume the same rule used by Snap and Salvage or A Reveal in Ruins applies here.

Best single stop

The Research and Administration Route

Research and Administration is the best one-building route because it can supply both Wires and a Battery. It sits in the southeast of Dam Battlegrounds and is a high-value area, so expect other Raiders.

  1. Enter through the main lower door and move toward the reception desk.
  2. Look behind the reception desk for the zipline.
  3. Ride the zipline up to the next floor.
  4. Turn left and find the room with a security camera in the middle.
  5. Search every container and computer in and around that room for Wires and a Battery.

Fireballs can patrol nearby, but interior rooms give you safer looting space. If Research and Administration is too busy, rotate to the Electrical Substation instead.

The same building is also used in A Balanced Harvest and Medical Merchandise.

Alternative loot areas

Where Else Wires and Batteries Spawn

Wires and Batteries can appear in Electrical and Technological loot zones, with computers, server boxes, CRT monitors and other tech containers being the best things to search. On Dam Battlegrounds, good alternatives include the Power Generation Complex, Control Tower and Electrical Substation.

Material shortcut

How to Recycle Your Way to Wires and Batteries

Recycle spare tech items when you need a faster path to Wires or a Battery, but avoid breaking down components you still need for workshop upgrades. Check the recycle preview before confirming so you know exactly what you are giving up.

Plan for later quests

You Keep the Wires After Turning In

Keep any spare Wires and Batteries you still have after finishing the objective instead of selling them immediately. Several later quests ask for the same materials, so a surplus can save another farming run.

Banking extras is especially useful if you plan to continue through the quest chain in one session.

What Comes After Trash into Treasure

Off The Radar comes next. It asks you to work with Field Depots, which can be easy to miss because their antennae are small and blend into the environment.

Later Shani quests include Eyes in the Sky, Lost in Transmission and With A View.

Future-proof your stash

Keep Your Spare Wires

Bank spare Wires because several later quests use them. Trash into Treasure needs six, Flickering Threat needs four, After Rain Comes needs five plus two Batteries, and Eyes On the Prize needs three.

If you are preparing for both After Rain Comes and Eyes On the Prize, eight Wires covers those two quests together.
