Watch the silver Pfister Growler parked beside the blue Banshee in GTA 6 Trailer 2. Its front bumper has changed since GTA Online. The rear window line is easiest to see at 20:21 in An Extended Look, when a dark Growler pulls alongside the player car.
The bumper, the window line and the colour of the lamps give you three different ways to pick out the Growler.

The red Growler has its doors open at the far side of the intersection. A separate billboard advert shows a car resembling the Growler.

Outside the Dominion Hotel, find the blue Banshee with the white stripe. The silver Growler sits next to it and slightly behind it, giving you a look at the revised bumper.

Look to the right for the dark coupe with oval rear lights. The roof curves into the rear glass just above the wing. The next car with rectangular lights is an Itali RSX.
The Growler is still a compact, rounded Pfister sports coupe. Compared with its GTA Online version, the GTA 6 model shows a redesigned front bumper and a subtly altered C-pillar, the part of the roof framing the rear glass.

The original GTA Online car carries the familiar Cayman-inspired nose, rounded roof and short rear overhangs. Its front bumper and rear-window line establish the earlier design.

The silver car beside and behind the Banshee at 2:06 has a revised bumper. The returning Growler’s rear-window line is more 911 GT3-like, while its compact coupe proportions remain.
The bumper shapes the car’s expression from the front, while the C-pillar affects its profile behind the doors. The Porsche 911 GT3 comparison concerns that upper body line, not a claim that the Growler is now based on a 911 instead of a 718 Cayman.
The Growler has no separate named roadster or high-performance variant here. It is part of the broader Pfister family alongside several distinct Comets.
| Pfister model | GTA 6 status | Distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Growler | Seen in official GTA 6 material | 718 Cayman-inspired coupe. |
| Comet S2 Cabrio | Seen in Trailer 1 | Open-top Comet, not a Growler. |
| Comet Retro Custom | Seen in Trailer 1 | Retro-bodied custom Comet. |
| Comet S2 | Not yet seen | Regular coupe, separate from the S2 Cabrio. |
In GTA Online, the Comet S2 is slightly faster in a straight line at 122.50 mph versus 122.00 mph for the Growler. On a circuit the Growler leads, running 1:02.996 against the Comet S2’s 1:04.715. These are tested GTA Online figures for two different cars.
The quicker Growler lap supports Legendary Motorsport’s pitch of a car for drivers who prize handling. Its straight-line deficit is small, but it is the more agile option in this pair of GTA Online test results.
The Comet S2 Cabrio seen in GTA 6 footage has an open roof, while the regular Comet S2 coupe is a separate vehicle. Only the Cabrio’s appearance is established by that sighting.
The Porsche 718 Cayman is the Growler’s closest real-world design reference, with a rounded sports-coupe body, pronounced rear arches and short overhangs. Its GTA 6 C-pillar also evokes the later 911 GT3 without changing that Cayman foundation.
The Growler also borrows details beyond Porsche. Its light shapes, diffuser and exhaust recall the 2017 Alpine A110, the front bumper has been likened to the Gemballa Mirage GT, and the side vent treatment resembles a 2010 to 2012 Audi R8 Spyder. The result is a composite fictional design.
The real 718 Cayman is mid-engined. In GTA Online, the Growler’s recorded engine placement is at the rear, so its game-world mechanical layout is not the same as the Porsche design that inspired its body.
GTA Online offers motorsport-themed liveries, including Tamarro Racing, which evokes Martini-style Cayman GT4 racing graphics, and Coverup, which recalls the RWB Porsche 964 “Apple Computer” custom car. Those graphics give the Growler a racing personality in GTA Online.
Pfister is a fictional manufacturer. The Porsche figures describe the real 718 Cayman family, not a licensed car or measured Growler performance in either game.
The Growler arrived through Los Santos Tuners in 2021 and places more emphasis on cornering than outright maximum speed. Its retail price, trade discount, tuning and measured performance below all come from GTA Online.
Legendary Motorsport pitches the Growler to drivers who prefer “handling over speed.” In a fully upgraded GTA Online test it reaches 122.00 mph, which is solid but not exceptional among Sports cars. Its quicker relative lap position is the more useful clue to how the normal handling setup performs around a circuit.
The 95.60 mph game-file parameter is roughly 26 mph below the tested result. It is not a contradictory second measurement. The game-file number feeds the game’s driving calculations, while the top-speed test records the upgraded vehicle under test conditions.
The $1,220,250 GTA Online trade price is 75 percent of its $1,627,000 retail price. Joining LS Car Meet and increasing reputation can unlock Tuners trade discounts at five-level intervals, although the order of eligible cars is random.
The Growler’s GTA Online customization includes tuner stance adjustments and racing liveries. Tamarro Racing and Coverup offer very different Porsche-inspired themes, while the optional low-grip tyre and stance choices shape how a Tuners car feels on the street.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. The fully upgraded GTA Online Growler reaches 122.00 mph, while Porsche’s real 718 Cayman GT4 is rated at 189 mph by its manufacturer.
Porsche also rates the standard 718 Cayman at 171 mph. The 189 mph GT4 provides a useful real-world contrast because some GTA Online Growler liveries draw on Cayman racing styles. Neither real Porsche claim predicts how the fictional Growler will perform in GTA 6.
The Growler’s GTA Online 1:02.996 lap is a stronger selling point than its 122.00 mph top speed. The fastest-cars guide keeps GTA 6 comparisons separate from these older-game measurements.
Compare the fastest GTA 6 carsThe Growler has a short but distinctive history, beginning as a Los Santos Tuners preview car before turning up in three GTA 6 promotional releases.
The GTA Online Growler also returned as a Lucky Wheel podium car in April 2026, long after its first 2021 sale. Its later GTA 6 appearance makes it a returning model rather than a vehicle debuting with the new game.
The Pfister Growler is chiefly styled on the Porsche 718 Cayman, with some details resembling the Alpine A110. Pfister is fictional, so the Growler is not a licensed Porsche.
Yes. The Growler appears in Trailer 1, as the silver car beside and slightly behind the Banshee in Trailer 2 at 2:06, and from the rear in An Extended Look.
In GTA Online, the Growler costs $1,627,000 at Legendary Motorsport. Its $1,220,250 trade price unlocks through LS Car Meet reputation.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. A fully upgraded standard Growler tests at 122.00 mph (196.34 km/h) in GTA Online.
Not in a GTA Online straight-line test. The Comet S2 reaches 122.50 mph and the Growler 122.00 mph, but the Growler has the quicker lap at 1:02.996 versus 1:04.715. The regular Comet S2 coupe has not yet appeared in GTA 6 material.
