Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the Wolfenstein: The New Order Platinum cleanup efficient.
Phase 0: Decide your route
Uber is available from the start, so a confident player can do one run on Uber and collect at the same time.
If you would rather not, do a comfortable first run for collectibles and health upgrades, then a dedicated Uber run.

Phase 1: The story and the collectibles
Play through the chapters, stealth killing enemy commanders wherever you can. Each one reveals collectible locations on your map.
Collect the 50 Gold Items, 72 Enigma Codes and 10 Letters as you go. A collectible saves the moment you pick it up, so dying does not lose it.
Unlock the perks you need for the perk trophies by repeating the associated actions.
Take whichever timeline choice trophy your run gives you at the end of Chapter 1.
Phase 2: Uber hero
If you did not start on Uber, do the Uber run now with your upgrades from the first playthrough.
At 3.0 percent this is the rarest trophy and it is what the platinum is known for.
If you are using the unpatched exploit route, reach the final chapter, switch to Uber and finish that chapter.

Phase 3: Chapter select cleanup
Load Chapter 1 via chapter select and choose the opposite person from your main run, for the second timeline trophy.

The Uber Difficulty Exploit
First section after the Quick Info box, with a verification caveat. Uber hero is the rarest trophy at 3.0 percent and it is the whole reason this platinum has a reputation. A documented method on an unpatched game, working on both PS3 and PS4, has you reach the very last chapter, switch the difficulty to Uber, finish that chapter and the trophy unlocks. If you have already patched, the reported approach is deleting Game Data and playing offline. Verify whether this still works before publishing it as a route, and present the legitimate Uber run alongside it either way.

At the end of Chapter 1 you choose whether Fergus or Wyatt is tortured to death, and there is a trophy for each. Both are recoverable, because chapter select lets you load Chapter 1 and choose the opposite person. Which Timeline to Pick
Genuine disagreement worth presenting both ways. Saving Fergus gives Health Upgrades, each adding 10 health, and lets you hotwire doorways for access to certain secret areas. Saving Wyatt gives Armor Upgrades increasing armour pickups by 10 percent, and lets you pick locks for access to different secret areas.
