High on Life Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap
Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the High on Life Platinum cleanup efficient.
Phase 1: Story run, watching the missables
Play the story on any difficulty. Nothing is difficulty gated.
Work from the named missable list in bounty order. Almost all of them are single actions inside a specific mission, so the cost of missing one is a whole new playthrough.
Start the two multi-step trophies early. Buy the Drum from the pawn shop for Globo and speak to him again after each bounty, and begin A Starfish is Born as soon as it is available.
Do not stress collectibles during this run. Lugloxes, cards and comic pages are all available in free roam afterwards.
Phase 2: Post-story free roam cleanup
Every area is revisitable after the credits, so this phase carries no risk.
Clear the remaining collectibles and challenge trophies. Note that several collectible types are not needed for any trophy, so point the reader only at the ones that are.
Check the Dr. Gurgula hint if you skipped it after the Douglas fight. It is reachable post story through an air vent, despite reports to the contrary.
Phase 3: The Bounty Hunter Forums grind
This is the longest single requirement and the reason the time estimate varies so widely.
Publish the current verified requirement with the date it was checked. Guide figures from 2022 and 2023 are reported to be roughly half the current numbers.
The grind is enemy-type farming across levels, so give the fastest farming location per category rather than a flat list.
This is the one place a soft DamnModz mention genuinely helps the reader. One or two sentences, then back to farming routes.
Phase 4: Final checks
Confirm the last Luglox is reachable. If the skate park has not spawned, flag the reported workaround and note whether progress carries into a new playthrough.
Sweep any outstanding challenge trophies, most take one or two attempts once the story is done.
The platinum unlocks on the 33rd trophy.
Guide notes
Every Missable Trophy in Order
The defining section. List them in the order encountered through the story bounties, with the trigger and the deadline for each. Because sources disagree on the count, name them all rather than publishing a number.
Efficient route
The Bounty Hunter Forums Grind
The longest trophy in the game and the one every existing guide now gets wrong. Publish the verified current requirement with the date checked, and note that the original guide figures predate a patch that roughly doubled them.
Multi-Step Trophies to Start Early
A Starfish is Born and Watch Globo's rise to fame both span the whole story and cannot be rushed at the end. Globo needs the Drum bought from the pawn shop, then repeat conversations after each bounty.
Guide notes
What Is Not Missable
Collectibles, challenges and most combat trophies can all be done in free roam after the credits.
Efficient route
Reported Blockers and Glitches
The skate park spawn issue that can leave the final Luglox unreachable, and the Dr. Gurgula hint that some players believed was permanently lost but can be reached later through an air vent. Dated, and framed as reported rather than confirmed.
Not High on Life 2
The sequel is a separate game with its own list and its own missable structure.

Guide notes
High on Life Missable, Glitched, and Difficulty Notes
- Between 7 and 9 trophies are missable depending on which guide you read, and they all sit inside story bounty missions with no way back once the mission ends.
- Publish the named list in encounter order rather than a count. The reported set includes Fallout Doesn't Let You Do This, Don't Knife The Hand That Feeds, A Starfish is Born, Gunning For Your Job, Carried Stan's Load To Completion, RIP Davey Glutes, Eatin' Good in the Neighborhood, Playing Favorites and Playing Card To Get.
- A Starfish is Born and the Globo trophy are multi-step and span the whole story, so they cannot be picked up at the end.
- Collectibles are not missable. Free roam after the credits covers Lugloxes, cards, comic pages and the challenge trophies.
- Difficulty does not affect trophies and there are no online trophies.
- Multiple trophies have been reported as glitched at various points, with some possibly patched. Give a dated status rather than a blanket claim.
- A reported issue can prevent the skate park from spawning, which blocks the final Luglox. Treat this as reported and unresolved until verified in game.
- The Bounty Hunter Forums requirements were reportedly increased by a patch. This is not a missable, but it is the largest unreported change affecting time to platinum.
Quick answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to platinum High on Life?
Between 8 and 20 hours for most players, with the Bounty Hunter Forums grind accounting for most of the variance. Some players report considerably longer since a patch raised those requirements.
How many missable trophies are in High on Life?
Between 7 and 9 depending on the source, and all of them sit inside story bounty missions. Work from a named list in mission order rather than trusting a count.
Can you get the High on Life platinum in one playthrough?
Yes, as long as you catch the missables during the story. Everything else, including all the collectibles, can be cleaned up in free roam afterwards.
Are High on Life collectibles missable?
No. Free roam is available after the credits, so Lugloxes, trading cards and comic pages can all be collected post story. Several types are not needed for any trophy at all.
Did a patch change the Bounty Hunter Forums trophy?
Players report the requirements roughly doubled, with some categories needing around 30. Existing guides still show the original figures, so verify the current numbers in game.
Does difficulty affect trophies in High on Life?
No. There are no difficulty-related trophies, so play on whatever setting you find comfortable.
Is High on Life 2 the same trophy list?
No. High on Life 2 is a separate game with its own list and a different missable structure, including story areas you can never return to.
