Hitman 3 Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap
Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the Hitman 3 Platinum cleanup efficient.
Phase 0: Connect, and check your carryover
Play online at all times. Offline play does not save challenge or mastery progress, so no trophy will unlock.
If you played Hitman 2, carry your progression over. It autopops every trophy you earned there including legacy map trophies.
If you own both PS4 and PS5 versions, note that autopop works in both directions.
Understand that saves are server-side and cannot be deleted, so a glitched challenge has no recovery path.
Phase 1: The prologue and tutorial trophies
Complete Freeform Training and The Final Test in the prologue, which are the same missions from the previous two games.
Complete The Final Test unspotted, killing only Jasper Knight and ensuring his body is not found, for Silent Assassin.
Complete the Contract Creation Tutorial from the Game Modes then Contracts tab.
Take a Mission Story in The Final Test and Level 5 of an Escalation Contract in the ICA Facility.
Phase 2: The six main missions
Work through Dubai, Dartmoor, Berlin, Chongqing, Mendoza and the Carpathian Mountains.
In each, complete the mission stories, reveal all undiscovered areas and work the specific assassination challenges.
Use the save, branch, reload and then finish loop so multiple challenges count from one run.
Play on Casual throughout. No trophy requires Professional or Master difficulty.
For End of An Era, fire Sharon Reed after Royce enters the core, then fire Jeremy quickly so he cannot stop Alicia.
Phase 3: Mastery levels
Reach mastery level 20 in each mission, except the Carpathian Mountains which needs only level 5.
Mastery advances through challenge completion, so these come alongside the challenge work rather than separately.
Budget extra time for Chongqing, which has the most time-consuming challenges of any map.
Complete all challenges in the Carpathian Mountains, which is shorter than the equivalent trophy in Hitman 2.
This is the longest stretch of the platinum. One soft mention of DamnModz fits here.
Phase 4: Contracts and cleanup
Complete a Featured Contract and beat the highest leaderboard score on a contract.
Pick up the remaining playstyle and kill-type trophies, which mostly arrive naturally through the challenge work.
If Hawkeye or Never Knew What Hit Them fails to fire, the likely cause is the game not crediting a Silent Assassin bonus rather than an error on your part.
The DLC lists covering the older maps are not required for the platinum.

You Cannot Earn Trophies Offline
First section after the Quick Info box. Hitman 3 offers offline play, but it does not save your progress in unlocking challenges or advancing mastery levels. Since almost every trophy is tied to challenge completion, that means no trophy will unlock offline even if you complete its objectives perfectly. Every guide marks the whole list as online for this reason.

A Glitched Challenge Has No Fix
The consequence of that server-side design, and it is worse than an ordinary glitch warning. Your saves are all stored online and cannot be deleted, and challenges are deactivated while offline, so there is no local save to roll back and no way to reset a challenge state. If a challenge glitches you can retry the requirements, but if the trophy still will not pop there is nothing further you can do. Say this plainly rather than softening it.

The Autopop Is Unusually Generous
Two separate shortcuts. Carrying your progression over from Hitman 2 autopops every trophy you earned in that game, including the trophies from the Hitman legacy maps, and the first half of this list is identical to the previous two games anyway. On top of that, trophies earned on PS4 autopop on PS5 and trophies earned on PS5 autopop on PS4. A series veteran can therefore start with a large share of the list already complete.

Save, Branch, Reload, Then Finish
The efficiency loop that makes this a 25 to 30 hour platinum rather than far longer. Make a manual save before an important moment, reload it to complete a different challenge, and then finish the mission so everything you did counts. Levels can be replayed freely at any time and no trophy requires Professional or Master difficulty, so you can run everything on Casual.

The Mastery Trophies
Reaching mastery level 20 in each mission, except the Carpathian Mountains which only requires level 5. Mastery advances by completing challenges, so these are really challenge-completion trophies with a level number attached. Chongqing has the most time-consuming challenges of any map, so budget for it, while the Carpathian Mountains all-challenges trophy is shorter with fewer objectives than Hitman 2's equivalent Completionist trophy.
The Silent Assassin Crediting Issue
Hawkeye and Never Knew What Hit Them are not glitchy in themselves, but the game does not always credit you with a Silent Assassin bonus, which is what those trophies depend on. If one fails to fire despite a clean run, that is the likely cause rather than anything you did wrong.

Two Worked Assassination Methods
, an H3 each. For End of An Era you must fire three people in a specific order. Follow the Certainty Principle mission story until Royce goes with you to a terminal, then fire Sharon Reed after Royce enters the core, at which point Alicia turns off the core's safety mechanism, and you must quickly fire Jeremy the security guard so he cannot stop her. Separately, for the final Hush and Royce assassination, restart the mission, head to the rooftops via the building with the laundry, pick up a sniper rifle and shoot all the drones in the sky. That makes Hush and Royce meet on a balcony where one shot takes both. Save your game first.
The DLC Is Not Required
Three DLC trophy lists exist, two of which are exact copies taken from Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 since that content is included here. None of them are needed for the platinum, which requires only the 47 base trophies plus the platinum itself.

Hitman 3 Missable, Glitched, and Difficulty Notes
- No missable trophies. Mission select is available and levels can be replayed freely at any time.
- You can only earn trophies while connected online. Offline play does not save challenge progress or mastery advancement, so nothing unlocks offline even if you meet the requirements.
