A black Pfister Astron follows Lucia during the chase. Gunfire comes from the pursuing SUV while Jason follows on a Sanchez. Its dark bodywork and rear lights put the compact Pfister among the vehicles in the pursuit.

A black Pfister Astron tears through the Port Gellhorn chase at 2:29 in Trailer 2. The Porsche Macan-inspired SUV also turns up on Catalan Boulevard and, in white, in An Extended Look.
Use the Port Gellhorn scene for the rear, then look at the white SUV in An Extended Look for its rounded front.

The Astron is shown driving along Catalan Boulevard in Vice City. This is a separate street-level appearance, away from the Port Gellhorn chase.

The dark side glass and sloping bonnet stand out as a white Astron passes the camera. It is the road SUV, not a separately badged Astron Custom.
The return of the Astron is visible, but its GTA 6 performance and specifications are not. The black chase car keeps the compact crossover silhouette that distinguishes the Astron from a full-size SUV such as the Granger.
Rockstar has shown the vehicle from different angles and in different lighting, not a catalogue of changes to its engine, suspension or options.

The standard 2021 Pfister Astron has a tall five-door cabin, a compact luxury SUV body and a distinct rear-light arrangement. The four-seat GTA Online vehicle is the reference for the returning design.

At 2:29 in Trailer 2, the black Astron is part of the Port Gellhorn pursuit. Vice City screenshot 08 shows the SUV again on Catalan Boulevard, where its profile can be compared with the original car.
In GTA Online, the Pfister Astron and Astron Custom are separate vehicles at Legendary Motorsport. The Custom shares the family resemblance but can receive a Hao’s Special Works conversion on supported editions. The regular Astron cannot.
A stock Custom is not automatically quicker. In the fully upgraded GTA Online tests without HSW, the regular Astron is slightly faster on a straight and around a lap. HSW changes that result for the Custom.

The HSW Astron Custom reaches 136.25 mph in GTA Online, a large gain over its 119.00 mph non-HSW test. Its 1:03.797 HSW lap is also substantially quicker than the standard Astron’s 1:05.999. Those numbers belong to different GTA Online vehicles and upgrade states, so they should not be treated as interchangeable Astron figures.
The HSW Custom is among the fastest SUVs in GTA Online, although it is not the current top-speed leader. In GTA 6 the confirmed sightings are of the standard Astron. The Custom’s price, availability and possible return remain At launch.
The Porsche Macan is the closest real-life match for the Pfister Astron. Both are compact luxury SUVs with a sporting profile rather than the long, upright body of a traditional full-size SUV. Pfister is GTA’s fictional counterpart to Porsche, not a brand licensed by Porsche.
The Astron is not an exact recreation of one confirmed Macan model year. Porsche’s facelifted Macan Turbo makes a useful real-world specification reference, while the Astron’s proportions and styling remain a GTA design.
One mechanical parallel is unusually neat: the GTA Online Astron also uses all-wheel drive and seven gears. Its GTA Online handling data lists 1,970 kg, but that number does not become a GTA 6 weight simply because the vehicle is returning.
The Porsche Macan Turbo’s 168 mph is a real-car manufacturer figure, not the Astron’s GTA Online test result and not a GTA 6 speed prediction. Real cars and GTA vehicles are measured under entirely different conditions.
Other Pfister sports cars give the marque a Porsche-like identity across GTA, but the Astron’s Macan connection is strongest in its practical, raised-roof SUV form. It is a styling inspiration, not a licensed version of a real Macan.
The standard Pfister Astron arrived in GTA Online on 15 December 2021 with The Contract, not as a GTA V story-mode car. Rockstar’s promotion for the update included a red Astron near Dr. Dre. Legendary Motorsport sold it as an expensive, road-focused four-seat SUV.
Its appeal in GTA Online is straightforward: fast by SUV standards, planted through corners and much smaller than the eight-place utility vehicles used to carry larger crews.
Yes, for an ordinary SUV in GTA Online. At 119.50 mph in fully upgraded testing, the regular Astron is quick enough to be competitive with much of its class. Its 1:05.999 lap shows that the result is not just straight-line pace, although HSW builds in the SUV category can be considerably faster.
Legendary Motorsport opens its pitch with “So reliable, so much control.” That fits the Astron’s role as a sporty crossover rather than a heavyweight armored transport. It seats four, and its regular GTA Online purchase has no discounted trade price.
Players looking for an HSW project should start with the separately sold Astron Custom. Buying the standard Astron does not turn it into the Custom, and the Custom’s HSW speed should never be used as the ordinary Astron’s top speed.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. Neither the Port Gellhorn chase nor the Catalan Boulevard image gives a measured GTA 6 top speed, a new lap time or an upgrade specification.
The known speeds below belong to a standard GTA Online Astron, a separate GTA Online HSW Custom and a real Porsche Macan Turbo. They are useful reference points only when the game and vehicle are named.
In GTA Online, the Custom’s HSW upgrade changes both its maximum speed and its lap result. The standard Astron still holds its own as a conventional SUV, but those HSW numbers are not available to it. GTA 6 will have its own performance figures at launch.
For a broader view of speeds once the new game is playable, the fastest GTA 6 cars guide separates confirmed game figures from GTA Online tests.
Compare the fastest GTA 6 carsThe Astron family began with GTA Online’s The Contract update and expanded with a Custom model for later platforms. The GTA 6 trailer and Vice City image now bring the standard SUV into the new setting.
The Porsche Macan is the Astron’s main real-world styling inspiration. Pfister is fictional, so the Astron is not a licensed Porsche or an exact copy of one confirmed Macan year.
Yes. A black Pfister Astron joins the Port Gellhorn chase in Trailer 2 at 2:29, and Rockstar’s official Vice City screenshot 08 shows another Astron on Catalan Boulevard.
In GTA Online, the fully upgraded standard Astron tests at 119.50 mph with a 1:05.999 lap. The separate Astron Custom can reach 136.25 mph with HSW. GTA 6 top speed: At launch.
The standard GTA Online Astron costs $1,580,000 and has no HSW conversion. The separately sold Astron Custom costs $1,720,000 and can take an optional $395,000 HSW upgrade on supported editions.
In GTA Online, buy the standard Astron for $1,580,000 from Legendary Motorsport. GTA 6 purchase and spawn locations: At launch.
