Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the Injustice 2 Platinum cleanup efficient.
Phase 0: Decide on patching, and pick Catwoman
If you own the retail disc, disconnect from the internet in PS4 Settings then Network and stay unpatched. Patch 1.04 makes Cat Call five times longer.
Only install patches after every offline trophy including Cat Call is done. Digital owners cannot avoid them, which roughly doubles their time.

Phase 1: Story mode on Very Easy
Play all 12 chapters and 76 fights on Very Easy, skipping cutscenes if you like. No trophy is difficulty gated.
Bank the easy combat trophies as they come, including Untouchable for ten seconds without being hit, which is easiest in a custom single fight on Very Easy.
Use a second controller in local versus for any awkward combat trophies, since a stationary opponent makes them trivial.
Phase 2: Multiverse and Battle Simulator
Complete three Multiverse Tutorial Events, then 100 Multiverse events overall.
View an ending for all 28 characters, which means 28 Battle Simulator playthroughs at one per character.
Use Catwoman as much as the events allow, to farm her rare gear and accumulate her playtime toward the Legendary Multiverse.
Level every character to 20. XP accrues from fights in any mode, so this largely happens alongside everything else.
Phase 3: The online set
200 online matches total, including 50 versus wins and 10 ranked wins.
Player and versus matches can be boosted with a partner. Ranked is harder, though searching at the same time as a partner may work.
Expect the online trophies to unlock later than their descriptions state, so do not stop at exactly the stated number.
Confirm the population still supports 200 matches before committing to this phase.
Phase 4: Gear farming and Cat Call
For gear, save 100 to 200 thousand coins, discard every Mother Box you already hold since their contents are locked on earning, then back up your save to USB before opening.
Cat Call needs all of Catwoman's abilities. The reliable route is the Legendary Multiverse Catwoman, found under Single Player just below Multiverse, which needs every planet beaten and roughly 3000 minutes of playtime with her.
That is around 50 real hours on its own, and it is why this platinum runs to 150 to 200 hours in total.

The Mother Box Save-Scum
Save up 100 to 200 thousand coins, then get rid of every Mother Box you already hold, because their contents lock the moment you earn them and will always open identically. Then back up your save to USB before opening the new boxes. That mechanic is non-obvious and it is what makes gear farming viable.
The Loot Box Trophies Unlock Late
