Yakuza: Like a Dragon Trophy Guide: Quick Info
The Western release includes the True Final Millennium Tower, and clearing it is required for the Platinum. Trophy names reveal chapter progression but avoid major plot details. The PlayStation Trophies wiki uses the same roadmap-first format.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon Platinum Roadmap
Phase 1: Complete the Story and Build Your Party
Play all 15 chapters and handle side content when convenient. Nothing is missable, so you can focus on the story without a rigid checklist.
Start Business Management when it unlocks and reach company rank 1. This earns several trophies, unlocks Eri, maxes her bond, funds later upgrades, and gives Ichiban a strong electric skill. Order full restaurant menus with different party combinations for Table Talks, then return to Survive Bar for bond events.
Change Ichiban through eight non-starting jobs at Hello Work. Win one battle with all four active characters in non-default jobs for Career Counseling.
Phase 2: Finish Side Content in Premium Adventure
Premium Adventure keeps every city and activity open. Complete 40 of 52 substories, reach Executive Hero, register 200 Sujimon, max all six personality stats, and finish the required minigames.
The social-stat cleanup resembles the Persona 5 trophy guide, but there is no calendar or second-playthrough pressure.
Phase 3: Clear the Battle Arena and Final Millennium Tower
Clear all 30 Sotenbori Battle Arena floors for Heir to the Legend. Repeatable floors provide upgrade materials, job experience, and useful gear.
Enter the Final Millennium Tower around character level 70 with an equipped job at rank 30 or higher. Clearing it earns Fulfiller of Dreams and unlocks the True version. Fully fund Romance Workshop and improve each active character's main weapon to at least EX.
Phase 4: Grind and Clear the True Final Millennium Tower
Farm Invested Vagabonds on B2F of the Kamurocho Underground until the active party reaches level 99. Raise each main job to rank 90 to 99 and useful secondary jobs to rank 30.
Stock MP recovery, Premium First Aid Kits, and Resurrection Boluses. Clear the True Final Millennium Tower for Victory of the Millennium, then finish any remaining cleanup for The New Dragon.
The True Final Millennium Tower
The Final Millennium Tower and True Final Millennium Tower are separate dungeons. The first is manageable near level 70 and awards Fulfiller of Dreams. The True version unlocks afterward, fills its encounters with level 99 enemies, and awards Victory of the Millennium.
| Preparation | Recommended Target |
|---|---|
| Character level | 99 for the active party |
| Main job | Rank 90 to 99 for each active character |
| Secondary jobs | Rank 30 where they add permanent stats or useful character skills |
| Ichiban | Hero with Peerless Resolve |
| Healer | Saeko or Eri as Idol with Magical Concert |
| Damage roles | Two durable attackers with fire, ice, and electric coverage |
| Weapons | Main weapons upgraded to EX or higher |
| Supplies | Full healing, revival, MP recovery, and useful Poundmates |
You do not need every job at rank 99. One trained main job per active character is enough with permanent stat bonuses, upgraded weapons, and broad elemental coverage.
Use Peerless Resolve at the start of every fight because Ichiban's defeat causes an immediate loss. Keep the party near full health with an Idol, exploit enemy weaknesses, and use Perfect Guard whenever possible. Defensive gear matters more than squeezing out a small attack increase because common enemies can remove half a health bar in one turn.

Missable Trophies in Yakuza: Like a Dragon
There are no missable trophies. Premium Adventure leaves all substories, bonds, jobs, minigames, Part-Time Hero tasks, Honk-Honk characters, and both post-game Towers available after the story.
New Game Plus and higher difficulties are unnecessary. This is more forgiving than the Witcher 3 trophy guide, where choices can permanently close trophy routes.
General Tips: Jobs, Leveling and Money
Job Grinding and Leveling
For the three job-rank trophies, a job counts as maxed at rank 30. The seven required jobs can be spread across the full party.
For the Tower, equip job experience accessories and farm Invested Vagabonds in Kamurocho Underground. Push one main job per active character toward rank 99, while secondary jobs at rank 30 provide permanent stats and transferable skills.
Money Farming and Gear
Finish Business Management early for shareholder-meeting payouts and several trophies. Romance Workshop needs 22.2 million yen to reach level 4.
The Final Millennium Tower becomes the better post-game money route. Nouveau Riche Crowns and Sengoku Coffee can raise a successful run to roughly 60 million yen, which is enough to fund weapon upgrades and recovery supplies for the True Tower.
Side Content Overview
Yakuza: Like a Dragon does not require full completion.
| Activity | Platinum Requirement |
|---|---|
| Substories | Complete any 40 of 52 |
| Party bonds | Max Nanba, Adachi, Saeko, Joon-gi Han, Zhao, and Eri |
| Part-Time Hero | Reach Executive Hero at 300 points, not the maximum possible total |
| Sujidex | Register 200 of the 252 entries |
| Table Talks | View 20 scenes |
| Minigames | Play 11 different minigames, plus finish Dragon Kart, Can Quest, and every movie |
| Personality | Max all six stats at level 10 |
| Romance | Complete at least three of the six romance substories |
| Honk-Honk | Find all five characters across Ijincho, Sotenbori, and Kamurocho |
| Gear | Collect 200 pieces and fully fund Romance Workshop |
Vocational exams, Part-Time Hero challenges, Table Talks, bonds, and Honk-Honk visits all raise personality. Combining them is faster than grinding one activity at the end.
Hardest Trophies and How to Get Them
Victory of the Millennium
Treat the True Final Millennium Tower as a build check. Enter at level 99 with main jobs near rank 99, keep Peerless Resolve active, heal frequently, and cover every element. Durability matters more than maximum damage.
Honk-Honk Hero
Three Honk-Honk characters appear in Ijincho, one in Sotenbori, and one in Kamurocho. Their spawns are random. Change cities, change the time of day, or reload the area when a location is empty, and keep 100,000 yen available.
Super Human
Pass vocational exams, complete Part-Time Hero challenges, trigger Table Talks, use Honk-Honk services, and choose personality rewards in conversations. Finish the lowest remaining stat with its matching exam or challenge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Yakuza: Like a Dragon the same as Yakuza 7?
Yes. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the 2020 turn-based JRPG commonly called Yakuza 7 and is counted as the eighth main series game.
How long does it take to platinum Yakuza: Like a Dragon?
The Platinum takes around 70 to 100 hours, with job grinding for the True Final Millennium Tower creating most of the variation.
How hard is the Yakuza: Like a Dragon Platinum?
It is about 4/10. Most trophies are straightforward, but the True Final Millennium Tower keeps it above the easiest PlayStation Platinums.
Are there missable trophies in Yakuza: Like a Dragon?
No. Every trophy can be completed after the story in Premium Adventure.
What is the hardest trophy in Yakuza: Like a Dragon?
Victory of the Millennium is the hardest trophy because its level 99 dungeon requires extensive job preparation and disciplined party management.
Do you need 100 percent completion to platinum Yakuza: Like a Dragon?
No. You only need 40 of 52 substories, 200 of 252 Sujimon, Executive Hero rank, and the specifically listed minigames and side activities.
Do you need New Game Plus or Legend difficulty?
No. One playthrough is enough, and no trophy requires New Game Plus or a higher difficulty.
The post-game job grind is the only serious wall once the side-content checklist is complete. DamnModz Yakuza: Like a Dragon services are available when the remaining levels or Tower clear are the final obstacles.
