The green Truffade Thrax is the low supercar crossing Shore Drive at 0:47 in the GTA 6 Launch Trailer. The police chase is the place to see its Bugatti Divo-inspired shape. Its Trailer 1 appearance is much easier to miss: it is a picture inside a social-media profile, not the car driving through the scene.
Start with the green car on Shore Drive if you want to identify the model, then go back to the social-media overlay in Trailer 1.

The green Thrax crosses Shore Drive during the police chase. A magenta Itali RSX also appears in the sequence. Look for the green body and dark side panel to follow the Thrax.

The red car crosses behind the woman in the foreground at the daytime meet. The bronze Itali RSX is parked farther back on the opposite side of the road.
The green chase car remains recognisably a Thrax next to the 2019 GTA Online model. Both share a low roof, wide stance and heavily sculpted rear, although paint and lighting make their surface details look different.

Rockstar’s Diamond Program image shows a purple-and-gold Thrax. Its livery draws attention to the flared wheelarches and the low, wide body.

The green GTA 6 Thrax on Shore Drive retains the compact roof and broad rear haunches. Its body colour stands out in the police-chase shot, with no new mechanical feature demonstrated.
Truffade is GTA’s fictional answer to Bugatti. Among the marque’s models, the Thrax is the one shown in the official GTA 6 material described here. The Adder, Nero, Nero Custom and Z-Type remain distinct cars, not Thrax variants.
| Truffade model | GTA 6 status | GTA 5 or GTA Online context |
|---|---|---|
| Thrax | Seen in official GTA 6 footage | Bugatti Divo-inspired GTA Online supercar introduced in 2019. |
| Adder | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material | Earlier Bugatti-inspired GTA supercar. |
| Nero | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material | Bugatti-inspired GTA Online supercar. |
| Nero Custom | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material | Benny’s conversion of the Nero in GTA Online. |
| Z-Type | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material | Vintage Bugatti-inspired Sports Classics model. |
The Adder and Nero fill other Bugatti-inspired roles in GTA Online, while the Z-Type is a vintage model. None should be mistaken for an alternative body style of the Thrax.
The closest real car to the Truffade Thrax is the Bugatti Divo. Both use an extremely low supercar profile, extensive aerodynamic surfaces and an intricate rear treatment, but the in-game model is not a licensed Divo.
The rear also evokes the Italdesign Zerouno, with deep vents and a high exhaust treatment. The Thrax’s side surfaces resemble those of the earlier Truffade Nero, and its front uses its own mix of sharp intakes and lighting. These details give the car its own identity rather than making it a one-to-one Divo copy.
The name Thrax likely refers to the Roman emperor Maximinus Thrax, much as Nero recalls another Roman emperor. Truffade also happens to be the name of a traditional French potato dish. Neither name turns this fictional car into a licensed Bugatti.
The GTA Online Thrax debuted in July 2019 with The Diamond Casino & Resort. It was the first week’s Lucky Wheel podium prize, and its role at the casino later became part of the mission House Keeping, in which players recover the stolen podium car.
For GTA Online driving, the Thrax earns its price through cornering grip and all-wheel-drive traction. It can hold a line through faster bends and push through busy streets with less drama than many rear-driven supercars. The 0:58.893 lap is strong, but a 17th-place Super-class result puts it behind the very quickest racers.
Its Legendary Motorsport description opens with “Forget unitary construction”, a line that fits the Thrax’s extravagant image. In GTA Online it cost $2,325,000 and had no trade-price discount.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. The 123.75 mph result belongs to the fully upgraded Thrax in GTA Online, while the Bugatti Divo’s 236 mph limit is a real-world manufacturer figure. They describe different vehicles in different settings.
The fastest GTA 6 cars guide keeps the older GTA Online road tests separate from GTA 6 results, which have not been announced.
Compare the fastest GTA 6 carsThe Thrax joined GTA through the Diamond Casino update rather than through an earlier Vice City game. Its two clear promotional appearances span a brief social-media glimpse and a full-speed police pursuit.
No. The Thrax is a fictional GTA car styled mainly after the Bugatti Divo, not a licensed Bugatti.
Yes. A small Thrax image appears in a social-media profile overlay around 0:46 in Trailer 1, and a green Thrax is chased by police along Shore Drive at 0:47 in the Launch Trailer.
The GTA Online Thrax has excellent all-wheel-drive grip and a tested lap of 0:58.893. At $2,325,000 it makes sense if you value cornering more than outright top speed.
The name is likely a reference to Roman emperor Maximinus Thrax, although that origin has not been officially explained.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. The fully upgraded Thrax in GTA Online has a tested top speed of 123.75 mph (199.16 km/h).
