PowerWash Simulator Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap
Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the PowerWash Simulator Platinum cleanup efficient.
Phase 1: Career mode, five stars per job
Work through all 38 career jobs, earning five stars on each. Stars unlock further jobs and equipment, so this is progression rather than optional.
Pick up the miscellaneous trophies during this first pass. Almost all of them can be done here.
Use the task list to highlight incomplete objects you cannot see. It removes most of the tedium.
Do Coconut Dodge on any Fairground level, the Carousel, Helter Skelter or Ferris Wheel, and read the objective when the level loads.
Remember you cannot restart a job once started. If you botch an objective, finish the job anyway and replay it in Free Play afterwards.
Phase 2: Free Play cleanup
Every job completed to 100 percent is now available in Free Play, which is why nothing on this list is missable.
Pick up any miscellaneous trophies you missed during Career.
Handle the store-specific trophies that need in-game currency. Money is plentiful by this point.
Work Good Dings to Come and Specialist here. The first is finicky and the second is a long grind, so budget time rather than rushing.
Phase 3: Challenge Mode and Gold Standard
This is the whole difficulty of the platinum. Gold Standard needs five gold medals and sits at roughly 1.0 percent of players.
Challenge Mode is single player only, so any co-op partner has to sit this one out.
Jobs only appear in Challenge Mode once you have completed them in Career, so pick small jobs you know well.
Your five golds can mix both types. Time Trials reward efficiency, Water Trials reward precision, so play to whichever suits you.
For Water Trials go slow and spray deliberately, never holding the trigger longer than needed.
This is the section buyers most want handled, and it cannot be co-opped. One soft mention of DamnModz fits here, then back to technique.
Phase 4: The platinum, and the DLC
With Gold Standard done the platinum should follow quickly.
The DLC packs are separate trophy sets and none count toward the platinum.
Each pack's jobs become replayable once you complete that pack's career, so DLC-specific trophies are recoverable too.
Guide notes
One Trophy Is the Whole Difficulty
First section after the Quick Info box. Guides rate this platinum anywhere from 2 out of 10 to 5 out of 10, and the entire spread comes down to Gold Standard, which needs five gold medals in Challenge Mode and sits at roughly 1.0 percent of players. Everything else on the list is a relaxed cleaning game.
Efficient route
Challenge Mode Is Single Player Only
If a friend has been helping you through Career mode, they cannot help here. The hardest content in the game has to be done alone. This surprises people and it belongs above the roadmap.
Gold Medals Can Be Mixed
Challenge Mode has two types, Time Trials and Water Trials, and your five gold medals do not have to come from one type.
Water Trial Technique
Go slow, spray deliberately and never hold the trigger longer than needed. Water trials reward precision rather than speed, which is the opposite instinct to the timed ones.
Guide notes
You Cannot Restart a Level
Once a job is started you cannot restart it. But once you complete a job to 100 percent it becomes available in Free Play and can be replayed freely. So a botched objective means finishing the job then replaying it, rather than losing anything.
Guide notes
Career Mode and Stars
38 jobs, up to five stars each. Stars unlock further jobs and equipment, so star collection is progression rather than an optional extra. Use the task list to highlight hard-to-see incomplete objects.

The Other Awkward Trophies
Good Dings to Come is finicky and Specialist is a long grind. Group them with the store-specific trophies that require spending in-game currency, since money is plentiful by that stage.
Coconut Dodge and Bonus Jobs
Coconut Dodge can be done on any Fairground level, the Carousel, Helter Skelter or Ferris Wheel. Side Hustle comes from completing any Bonus Job via Career then Bonus Jobs.

The DLC Packs
Multiple licensed packs each carry their own trophy set and none are required for the platinum. Back to the Future is rated around 3 out of 10 at 10 to 15 hours as a representative example. Each pack's jobs become replayable after finishing its career.
PowerWash Simulator 2
A sequel has released and is described as an easy platinum. Flag it as a separate build candidate and check its volume.

Quick answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to platinum PowerWash Simulator?
Around 40 to 60 hours. Career mode is the bulk of it, but the time varies most with how quickly you land the five Challenge Mode gold medals.
How hard is the PowerWash Simulator platinum?
Ratings range from 2 out of 10 to 5 out of 10, and the entire spread is one trophy. Gold Standard needs five gold medals in Challenge Mode and only about 1 percent of players have it.
Can you do PowerWash Simulator Challenge Mode in co-op?
No. Challenge Mode is single player only, so a friend who helped you through Career mode cannot help with the hardest trophy in the game.
Do the Challenge Mode gold medals have to be the same type?
No. You can mix Time Trials and Water Trials freely, so three timed golds and two water golds will unlock the trophy.
Are there missable trophies in PowerWash Simulator?
None. Once a job is completed to 100 percent it becomes available in Free Play, so anything missed during Career can be picked up later.
Can you restart a level in PowerWash Simulator?
Not once you have started it. If you spoil an objective, finish the job anyway and then replay it from Free Play afterwards.
Do you need the DLC for the PowerWash Simulator platinum?
No. Each licensed pack has its own separate trophy set and none of them count toward the base platinum.
How do you get gold medals in the water challenges?
Go slow and spray deliberately, never holding the trigger longer than you need. Water trials reward precision rather than speed, which is the opposite of the timed ones.
