Efficient route

inFamous: First Light Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap

Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the inFamous: First Light Platinum cleanup efficient.

1

Phase 1: Story on Easy with collectibles

Play the story on Easy. Difficulty does not affect any trophy and the arena has no difficulty option anyway.

Collect the Neon Lumens as you go. They appear on your map early and gathering them broadens your powers, which makes the arenas easier later.

Open the challenge list as soon as you learn about challenges, and work the ones you can while progressing. It is not essential but it shortens the end game.

Nothing is missable and there is free roam after the story, so play at your own pace.

2

Phase 2: Post-story cleanup and free roam

Pick up any remaining collectibles and the combat-specific trophies. Plenty of enemies remain after the story.

Global challenges can be done in Free Roam or the arenas, so knock out whatever suits where you are.

Keep spending skill points on Fetch as challenges award them. Additional upgrades unlock after the story.

3

Phase 3: The Challenge Arenas

Play each arena as Fetch, not Delsin. Delsin cannot complete Fetch's Neon-specific challenges even if a Second Son save unlocks him.

Do not chase 500,000 points on your first run of each arena. You will replay them for challenges and the scores come along the way.

Work the arena-specific challenges, which must be done in the exact arena listed rather than anywhere.

Turret Syndrome is the longest grind because turrets spawn slowly, so start it early in this phase.

4

Phase 4: Perfectionist and the platinum

Finish all 96 challenges for Perfectionist, the trophy the whole list is built around.

For the snipe 5 weak spots in Focus mode challenge, remember you only need to hit rather than kill. Line up three or four foes with one slightly tougher.

Dog Fight has no clean documented method. Stasis then an immediate jump into Laser Focus is the closest thing, so expect trial and error.

With all challenges done you will have enough skill points for every upgrade, which awards the remaining trophies.

The arena is the skill-dependent part of this platinum. One soft mention of DamnModz fits here.

Guide notes

Do Not Run the Arenas as Delsin

First section after the Quick Info box. If you have an inFAMOUS: Second Son save you get the option to play the Challenge Arenas as Delsin. Play as Fetch unless you are deliberately messing about.

Guide notes

Perfectionist Is the Whole List

All 96 challenges, made up of 60 global plus 36 tied specifically to Free Roam or a named Challenge Arena. Most arrive without trying. The mode-specific ones must be done in the exact arena listed. All challenges award skill points, which you need to buy every upgrade, so they feed a second trophy too.

Guide notes

The Two Challenges That Actually Stall People

Snipe 5 weak spots in Focus mode is the one genuinely awkward in-game challenge, and the key detail is that you only need to hit the weak spot rather than kill the enemy. Line up three or four foes with one slightly tougher so it survives extra hits. Turret Syndrome is the longest grind, purely because turrets spawn slowly.

Efficient route

Do Not Chase the 500,000 Scores First

Each arena has a 500,000 point score trophy. Do not make that the priority on your first attempt, because you will be replaying every arena for challenges anyway and the scores arrive along the way. Upgrade Fetch between runs as skill points accumulate.

1

Dog Fight

Defeat 25 airborne enemies while airborne yourself. No reliable method is documented, with stasis then an immediate jump into Laser Focus being the closest thing. Flag it as trial and error rather than pretending there is a clean route.

2

Collect the Neon Lumens During the Story

They appear on your map early and are mostly high up, needing a jump from a tall building plus hover or air dash. Collecting them as you go rather than afterwards broadens your powers earlier, which makes the arenas easier.

3

It Has a Platinum, Unlike Festival of Blood

Standalone inFAMOUS DLC does not usually carry a platinum, and this one does. Worth a line, since it is why the page exists.

4

Where to Farm Combat Trophies

Any combat-specific trophy you are missing can be earned in Free Roam or the arenas, and plenty of enemies remain after the story.

Second Son is a separate full game with its own list.

Guide notes

inFamous: First Light Missable, Glitched, and Difficulty Notes

  • No missable trophies. Free roam is available after the story and challenges can be retried infinitely.
  • Difficulty does not affect trophies. The story can be played on Easy and the arena has no difficulty option at all.
  • The one real trap is character choice. With a Second Son save you can play arenas as Delsin, but he cannot complete Fetch's Neon-specific challenges, so Perfectionist becomes impossible on those runs.
  • Perfectionist needs all 96 challenges, 60 global plus 36 tied to Free Roam or a specific named arena. Mode-specific ones must be done in the exact arena listed.
  • Snipe 5 weak spots in Focus mode only requires hitting the weak spot rather than killing the enemy, which is the detail most people miss.
  • Turret Syndrome is the longest grind purely because turrets spawn slowly.
  • Dog Fight, defeating 25 airborne enemies while airborne, has no reliably documented method.
  • All challenges award skill points and you need them all to buy every upgrade, so the challenge trophy feeds the upgrade trophy.

Quick answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Does inFamous: First Light have a platinum?

Yes, which is unusual for standalone inFAMOUS DLC. Festival of Blood did not have one, but First Light carries a full 25 trophy list with a platinum.

How long does it take to platinum inFamous: First Light?

Between 8 and 15 hours. The story and collectibles take 5 to 6 hours and the arenas and challenges add roughly 6 more, depending on your skill.

Can you play the First Light arenas as Delsin?

You can if you have a Second Son save, but you should not for trophies. Delsin has no access to Fetch's Neon moves and cannot complete her specific challenges.

How many challenges are in inFamous: First Light?

96 in total for Perfectionist, made up of 60 global challenges plus 36 tied to Free Roam or a specific Challenge Arena.

How do you snipe 5 weak spots in Focus mode?

You only need to hit the weak spot, not kill the enemy. Line up three or four foes with one slightly tougher so it survives multiple hits, and it comes quickly.

Are there missable trophies in inFamous: First Light?

None. Free roam is available after the story, challenges can be retried infinitely, and plenty of enemies remain for combat trophies.

Does difficulty affect trophies in inFamous: First Light?

No. Play the story on Easy if you want, and the Challenge Arenas have no difficulty option at all.

What is the longest grind in inFamous: First Light?

Turret Syndrome, simply because turrets spawn slowly. Start it early in your arena phase rather than leaving it last.
