Dragon Age: Inquisition Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap
Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the Dragon Age: Inquisition Platinum cleanup efficient.
Phase 0: Choose your route and lock the difficulty
Decide between one Nightmare run or two playthroughs. Veterans should take the single run.
If going for one run, set Nightmare at the start and never change it before the credits, or Inquisitor is void.
Skip Hard entirely. Nightmare awards the Hard trophy at the same time.
Read the six missables and the single-playthrough trophy list before you begin. There is no New Game Plus to fall back on.
Phase 1: The main campaign and the single-playthrough block
Work the story while accumulating the single-playthrough requirements, 50 missions or operations, 20 requisitions, 75 rifts, 15 astrariums, 50 herbs and three keeps liberated.
Recruit every possible companion in this run, since that trophy is also single-playthrough scoped.
Reach Inquisition rank 10 and player level 20, and fully upgrade one throne.
Make multiple manual saves as you go and do not overwrite them all, given the glitched trophies.
Phase 2: The missables
Work through On Burning Wings, Belle of the Ball, Persuasive, The Brightest of Their Age, People Person and Beloved and Precious.
Make a dedicated save before Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, since several missables cluster there.
Persuasive is both missable and glitch-prone, so back up before attempting it and verify it popped.
Slay 10 high dragons and craft a Tier 4 item in all non-masterwork slots, which are among the longer optional asks.
Phase 3: Nightmare and the platinum
If you took the two-run route, this is the Nightmare playthrough. Skip as much content as you can and rush the story.
Do not lower the difficulty at any point. Once Inquisitor unlocks you can drop it to finish anything outstanding.
This is the run buyers most want handled, at roughly 1.7 percent rarity. One soft mention of DamnModz fits here.
None of the DLC is required, so treat Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent and Trespasser as optional.

Guide notes
Dragon Age: Inquisition Missable, Glitched, and Difficulty Notes
- Six missables. On Burning Wings, Belle of the Ball, Persuasive, The Brightest of Their Age, People Person and Beloved and Precious. Several sit in the Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts sequence.
- Three glitched trophies. Persuasive, Pathfinder and Veteran. Persuasive is both missable and glitch-prone, so it needs the most care.
- Difficulty does affect trophies. Inquisitor requires Nightmare with no difficulty reduction at any point before finishing the story, and it is ultra rare at roughly 1.7 percent.
- Difficulty trophies stack, so Nightmare awards the Hard trophy too. Never play Hard as a separate run.
- Once Inquisitor unlocks you can lower the difficulty freely for everything else.
- A large block of trophies specify in a single playthrough and cannot be spread across runs, including 50 missions, 20 requisitions, 75 rifts, 15 astrariums, 50 herbs and recruiting all companions.
- There is no New Game Plus, so a second playthrough means a new character from scratch.
- None of the DLC is required for the platinum. PS3 carries only Jaws of Hakkon while PS4 also has The Descent and Trespasser.
Quick answers
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you get the Dragon Age Inquisition platinum in one playthrough?
Yes, if you start on Nightmare and catch all six missables. Many trophies specify in a single playthrough, so those have to be done in that same run.
Does lowering the difficulty void the Inquisitor trophy?
Yes. Reducing the difficulty at any point before you finish the story voids it. Once the trophy unlocks you can drop the difficulty freely for everything else.
Do you need to play on Hard as well as Nightmare?
No. Difficulty trophies stack, so a Nightmare completion awards the Hard trophy at the same time. Playing Hard separately is wasted time.
How long does it take to platinum Dragon Age Inquisition?
Around 95 to 100 hours. It is a long list rather than a difficult one, at roughly 5 out of 10 overall.
Which Dragon Age Inquisition trophies are missable?
Six. On Burning Wings, Belle of the Ball, Persuasive, The Brightest of Their Age, People Person and Beloved and Precious. Several cluster around Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts.
Do you need the DLC for the Inquisition platinum?
No. The PS3 list carries Jaws of Hakkon only while the PS4 list also has The Descent and Trespasser, but none of it counts toward the platinum.
Is there New Game Plus in Dragon Age Inquisition?
No. A second playthrough starts from scratch with a new character, which is why the single-playthrough trophies matter so much.
Are there multiplayer trophies in Dragon Age Inquisition?
No trophies appear to require the multiplayer mode, and several descriptions specify single-player. That means no server dependency, which is worth knowing on a 2014 game.
