Dark Souls Remastered Trophies at a Glance
Dark Souls Remastered Trophy Guide: Platinum Roadmap
Phase 1: First Playthrough and Covenant Setup
Keep every boss soul during the first run. Join all nine covenants, rescue the spell merchants, collect every required tail weapon, and defeat Crossbreed Priscilla and Dark Sun Gwyndolin. After Anor Londo, do not place the Lordvessel with Kingseeker Frampt. Defeat Sif and the Four Kings, then join Darkstalker Kaathe's Darkwraith covenant first.
Buy Laurentius's pyromancies before discussing advanced flame magic, complete Big Hat Logan's quest, and rescue Reah before Petrus kills her. Earn the covenant spell rewards, choose either ending after Gwyn, and retain his soul.
Phase 2: NG+ Spells, Reinforcements, and Boss Souls
Use NG+ for the opposite ending, the other Ornstein and Smough soul, second copies of the Moonlight Butterfly, Quelaag, Iron Golem, Gwyndolin, and Sif souls, plus missed spells. Spend the first Soul of Gwyn on either Sunlight Spear or the Great Lord Greatsword, then reserve the next soul for the other.
Finish the ten reinforcement trophies while the needed embers, slabs, and blacksmiths are available. Dark Souls Remastered is less forgiving about NPC order than Demon's Souls, so check every collection before defeating Gwyn again.
Phase 3: NG++ Knight's Honor Cleanup
Rush to Sif for the third Soul of Sif, then reach the Giant Blacksmith in Anor Londo. Forge the final Greatsword of Artorias variant or Greatshield of Artorias, create any remaining boss weapon, and use the second Soul of Gwyn for whichever requirement remains. Knight's Honor and The Dark Soul should unlock once every required weapon and trophy is registered on the same character.
Online, Co-op, and DLC Trophy Notes
All 41 trophies can be earned offline. Each successful co-op boss kill reduces the Warrior of Sunlight requirement by five Faith and can supply Sunlight Medals. Offline players can farm medals from Chaos Bugs, Souvenirs of Reprisal from Crow Demons, Eyes of Death from Basilisks, and Humanity from rats.
Artorias of the Abyss is included, but its weapons and spells are not required for the four collection trophies. The DLC can be skipped for the platinum.

Missable Trophies in Dark Souls Remastered
Dark Souls guides often quote around 26 missables. That figure includes trophies and the covenant rewards, spells, boss souls, invasions, tail weapons, and purchases behind them. Missing one usually delays the platinum until the next cycle.
Covenant and Ending Lockouts
All nine covenant trophies can be missed within a cycle. Darkwraith is critical because placing the Lordvessel with Frampt blocks Kaathe. Join Gravelord Servant before killing Nito, Blade of the Darkmoon before Gwyndolin, and Princess's Guard before attacking Gwynevere. The two endings are mutually exclusive in normal play.
Spell and NPC Lockouts
Buy Laurentius's spells before revealing the source of advanced pyromancies. Raise a Pyromancy Flame to +10 so Quelana appears, then finish her stock and request before the Bed of Chaos. Rescue Logan twice, buy his crystal sorceries, and complete his hollowed state for White Dragon Breath.
Reah must survive to reach Undead Parish, where she sells unique miracles. Covenant rewards require 10 Sunlight Medals, 10 Souvenirs of Reprisal, 10 Eyes of Death, and 30 Humanity. Keep all 24 sorceries, 19 pyromancies, and 23 miracles on one character.
Rare Weapons and Optional Bosses
Do not consume boss souls or kill the Giant Blacksmith early. Obtain both Ornstein and Smough souls, three Sif souls, two Gwyndolin souls, and two Gwyn souls when Sunlight Spear is included. Cut the tails from the Hellkite Dragon, Gaping Dragon, Stone Dragon, Priscilla, and Seath. Take the Gargoyle Tail Axe as well so the full rare-weapon checklist is covered.
Paladin Leeroy must invade while you are human before Nito dies, since Grant and Sanctus are required for Knight's Honor. Priscilla's Dagger and the Moonlight Greatsword are easily lost if the boss dies before its tail breaks.
Dark Souls Remastered Covenants Guide
Way of White
Speak to Petrus at Firelink Shrine and accept his offer. Reah can also admit you later, so this is one of the safest covenant trophies.
Princess's Guard
Speak to Gwynevere after Ornstein and Smough. Join before attacking her illusion, since darkening Anor Londo removes this opportunity for the cycle.
Blade of the Darkmoon
Collect the Darkmoon Seance Ring in the Catacombs, equip it at the Darkmoon Tomb, and kneel before the fog gate. Offer 10 Souvenirs of Reprisal for Darkmoon Blade before fighting Gwyndolin.
Warrior of Sunlight
Pray at the Sunlight Altar with 25 Faith. Each successful co-op boss victory lowers that requirement by five. Offer 10 Sunlight Medals for Great Lightning Spear, then offer a Soul of Gwyn while rank +1 for Sunlight Spear.
Forest Hunter
Reach Alvina in Darkroot Garden and answer yes to both questions. Membership also keeps Shiva available as a merchant for rare-weapon cleanup.
Darkwraith
After receiving the Lordvessel, leave Frampt alone and defeat Sif, the Four Kings, and then speak to Kaathe in the Abyss. Do not place the Lordvessel with Frampt first. Joining awards the Dark Hand needed for Knight's Honor.
Path of the Dragon
Travel through the Great Hollow to Ash Lake and speak to the Stone Dragon. Its tail can be cut without breaking the covenant, awarding the Dragon Greatsword.
Gravelord Servant
Carry an Eye of Death, enter the open coffin beside the Titanite Demon in the Catacombs, and wait for transport to Nito. Join before defeating him, then offer 10 Eyes of Death for Gravelord Greatsword Dance.
Chaos Servant
Break the hidden wall below Quelaag's second bell and speak to the Fair Lady. Joining awards Great Chaos Fireball, while 30 Humanity reaches rank +2 and awards Chaos Storm.
Dark Souls Remastered New Game Plus Cycle Plan
New Game
Collect every covenant, NPC spell, tail weapon, and optional boss trophy possible. Create available boss-soul weapons, choose one Ornstein and Smough outcome, and earn one ending. Save every unused soul and complete either Fire Weapon or Chaos Weapon if Red Titanite Slabs are limited.
NG+
Choose the opposite Ornstein and Smough outcome and ending. Collect repeated boss souls, finish the covenant spell ranks, and use the first Soul of Gwyn for Sunlight Spear or the Great Lord Greatsword. Before Gwyn, verify that only the third Sif weapon and second Gwyn-soul use remain.
NG++
Kill Sif for the third time and progress to the Giant Blacksmith. Forge the final Sif weapon, spend the second Soul of Gwyn on the remaining miracle or weapon, and finish any delayed reinforcement path. You do not need to complete the third cycle.
Soul Duplication Glitch
A quantity-storage exploit can remove most leveling and purchasing grind. Buy 999 Wooden Arrows, prime a 999 drop quantity, then overlap the inventory and Brightness menus to apply it to a consumable soul. Back up your save, avoid required boss souls, and remember that overleveling can reduce co-op matchmaking. The platinum does not require the glitch.
Dark Souls Remastered Boss Strategies
Four Kings
Treat the Four Kings as a damage race. Equip the Covenant of Artorias, use a fully upgraded weapon, stay close so the sword deals reduced damage, and attack through minor hits. High-poise armor, stamina regeneration, and fast healing stabilize the NG+ fight.
Ornstein and Smough
You receive the soul of whichever boss dies second, so plan a different survivor in each full run. Killing Ornstein first leaves the easier Super Smough in New Game, while killing Smough first gives Ornstein's soul on NG+. Use pillars to separate them.
Seath and Priscilla Tail Cuts
For Seath, draw him away from the crystal, break it as he approaches, then hit the tip of the middle tail. For Priscilla, use a weak opening strike on the tail, track her footprints, and avoid body damage until the dagger drops. These checks reward the patient positioning that helps in Bloodborne, despite the slower pace.
Hardest Dark Souls Remastered Trophies and How to Get Them
Knight's Honor is the main planning test. Keep a complete rare-weapon checklist, hold every required weapon on one character, farm the Channeler's Trident and Black Knight gear, and prepare the correct +10 bases for the Giant Blacksmith.
Prayer of a Maiden is the most intricate spell trophy because covenant miracles, Reah's quest, Siegmeyer's Emit Force, two Pisaca drops, and a Soul of Gwyn are involved. Finish those steps before the next cycle.
Defeat the Four Kings becomes the main NG+ combat wall. Extra kings spawn on a timer, so a strong weapon and close-range poise strategy are more reliable than a cautious fight.
Dark Souls Remastered belongs among the hardest PlayStation platinums because route discipline matters as much as boss execution. Sekiro asks for cleaner reactions, while Dark Souls punishes missed NPC and inventory decisions.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to platinum Dark Souls Remastered?
The platinum takes around 70 to 120 hours, depending on combat experience, farming luck, and whether you use the soul duplication exploit.
How hard is the Dark Souls Remastered platinum?
It is about 8/10 because you must manage missable covenants, spell quests, rare weapons, and harder NG+ bosses across multiple cycles.
How many playthroughs are needed for the Dark Souls Remastered platinum?
You need two full playthroughs and a partial NG++ because the three Sif boss weapons require three Souls of Sif.
What is the most missable trophy in Dark Souls Remastered?
Covenant: Darkwraith is the most missable because placing the Lordvessel with Frampt prevents Kaathe from offering the covenant for that cycle.
Are there difficulty-related or online trophies?
No. Dark Souls Remastered has no difficulty setting and every trophy can be earned offline.
Does Dark Souls Remastered require the DLC for the platinum?
No. Artorias of the Abyss spells, weapons, and bosses are not required for the base platinum.
Can you speed up leveling for the platinum?
Yes. The optional Soul Duplication Glitch can supply enough souls for fast leveling and purchases, although the platinum is fully obtainable without it.
What is the hardest trophy in Dark Souls Remastered?
Knight's Honor is the hardest because all rare weapons must be held on one character and several boss souls require NG++ planning.
The route is more missable than Elden Ring, but careful cycle planning keeps every requirement manageable. DamnModz PlayStation trophy services cover targeted cleanup when a rare weapon, covenant reward, or final platinum remains blocked.
