Quick Info
Diablo 4 Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap
Phase 1: Complete the Base Campaign and Explore Estuar
Start a normal Softcore character and complete the original six-act campaign. Normal difficulty is the fastest low-risk option, and no campaign trophy requires a higher setting. Unlock waypoints and reveal each named subregion as you travel so Estuar Sightseer needs less cleanup later.
Use Helltides and Whispers when they become available. Collect Aberrant Cinders, choose a Cache of Chaos whenever the Tree offers one, imprint Codex aspects, temper new gear, and use healing potions whenever you have lost health. These actions advance several trophies while also improving your character.
Kill any World Boss when its map timer appears for Worldly Slayer.
Phase 2: Reach Paragon 200 and Clear the Endgame Trophies
Reach the current character level cap, then continue to Paragon 200. Paragon progress is shared by eligible characters on the same realm, so you can change Softcore characters without restarting the entire grind.
Advance through the Artificer's Pit until Torment 2 is available, then activate a Nightmare Dungeon Sigil and complete the dungeon on Torment 2 or higher for Living Nightmares. Rotate efficient Pit runs, Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, Whispers, and the active seasonal activity. Clear speed matters more than barely surviving a higher difficulty.
Defeat the Echo of Lilith once your build has reliable boss damage and enough mobility for the scripted arena breaks. Finish remaining Cinders, Chaos Caches, potion uses, imprints, and map discovery before Paragon 200.
Phase 3: Class Trophies and PvP Cleanup
Create one character from each of the five original classes. The Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, and Sorcerer trophies can all be earned at low levels, so none needs a full playthrough.
For Master Combatant, enter a Field of Hatred and earn five player kills. A partner can join your world, leave the party inside the PvP zone, and trade kills with you. Random matchmaking is unnecessary.
Phase 4: Reach Level 50 in Hardcore
Create a Hardcore character after the campaign, use Campaign Skip, and play on Normal. Focus on low-risk Whispers, events, cellars, and familiar dungeons. One death deletes the character and its True Perseverance progress.
Full Diablo 4 Trophy List
The current base platinum list contains these 26 trophies. Several descriptions changed after launch, so older guides that still mention Level 100, a max-tier potion upgrade, or Sacred and Ancestral Nightmare Dungeons are outdated.

Missable Trophies in Diablo 4
There are no permanently missable trophies across the account, but True Perseverance is missable on each individual Hardcore character. Dying before Level 50 deletes that character and resets the attempt.
True Perseverance
Complete the campaign on Softcore first so the Hardcore character can skip it. Select Normal, prioritize defense, and leave unsafe activities. Easy Whispers, cellars, and open-world events give steady experience without major boss spikes.
Hardcore and Softcore progression are separate, so Softcore Paragon levels do not carry over. A high-level Hardcore partner can accelerate the route, but let the stronger player control pulls.
The run is much shorter than the Diablo 2 Resurrected trophy route, though the same permadeath rule makes patience more valuable than maximum clear speed.
Does Difficulty Affect Diablo 4 Trophies and Is There New Game Plus?
Yes. Most trophies can be earned on Normal, but two requirements force special settings.
Living Nightmares requires a completed Nightmare Dungeon on Torment 2 or higher. Unlock Torment progression through the current Artificer's Pit path, change the world difficulty to Torment 2, then finish a Sigil-activated Nightmare Dungeon.
True Perseverance requires Hardcore mode, where death deletes the character. Normal is the safest setting for that partial run.
End of the First Mother can be attempted on the lowest Torment level that opens the Echo of Hatred. Higher Torment tiers are not required for the base platinum.
Diablo 4 has no traditional New Game Plus. After completing the campaign, later characters can use Campaign Skip and move directly into leveling and endgame activities. Do not skip the original campaign on your first trophy character because Emancipation still requires its completion.
Cross-Save and PS4 to PS5 Autopop Warning
Diablo 4 stores character and challenge progress through Battle.net, while PS4 and PS5 use separate PlayStation trophy lists. Trophy autopop was unreliable after launch and could leave a challenge marked complete in-game without unlocking the matching trophy on the second console version.
Later updates improved synchronization, and current reports often show the base list autopopping in either direction. Treat this as optional rather than guaranteed because partial sync and expansion-specific issues still appear.
Use one PlayStation version until its platinum is complete. Confirm PSN and Battle.net are synchronized before opening the other version. Alternating versions mid-run creates the highest lockout risk.
Online and Boosting Notes
Diablo 4 is always online, though campaign progress, exploration, class kills, and crafting can be completed solo. Party help is most useful for PvP, Echo of Lilith, and leveling.
Master Combatant
Enter a Field of Hatred with another player, leave the party, and Mark for Blood. Trade five kills and remain in the zone until the trophy unlocks.
Echo of Lilith and Leveling
A geared player can carry Echo of Lilith, and coordinated groups can clear dense leveling content with less downtime. Like The First Descendant, Diablo 4 saves progression on its servers and makes repeatable group content the practical route through the longest trophy grind.
Avoid a Solo Self Found seasonal character when the goal is boosting. That ruleset blocks partying and trading, which removes the main shortcuts for PvP, leveling, and boss cleanup.
General Tips and Endgame Build
Leveling and Paragon 200
Keep an Elixir active for its experience bonus, and craft an Incense early enough to finish Convenient Crafts. Prioritize the highest difficulty that you can clear quickly and safely. A lower tier completed in a few minutes is better than a higher tier filled with deaths and slow bosses.
Combine objectives whenever possible. Helltides advance Turning the Tides, supply gear, and often overlap with Whispers. Tree turn-ins progress Chaotic Whispers, while Nightmare Dungeons provide the Torment 2 trophy and useful character upgrades. The Pit tests whether your build is ready for the next difficulty step.
Finish exploration, Cinders, Chaos Caches, potion uses, and imprints before pure experience farming. Each objective still contributes experience toward Paragon 200.
Fast Class Trophy Cleanup
For Barbarian, use any early skill or upgrade that grants Berserking and kill weak overworld packs while the orange Berserking effect is active. For Druid, equip one Werebear attack and one Werewolf attack. For Rogue, alternate a melee skill and a bow skill while keeping clear distance for the ranged kills.
Sorcerer elemental kills arrive through normal Fire, Frost, or Lightning skills. Necromancer requires summons rather than kills, so raise Skeleton Warriors or Mages from corpses, dismiss or change the minion setup, and repeat until 100 have been created.
Build Priorities for Echo of Lilith
Use a current endgame build for your chosen class rather than a launch build. Balance patches can change the best skill package, but the trophy fight always rewards the same fundamentals: strong single-target damage, movement speed, a reliable defensive cooldown, resistance and armor appropriate to the selected Torment tier, and enough recovery to survive mistakes.
Damage shortens both phases, but the second still uses scripted platform breaks. Move to safety before each collapse, wait for the ground effect to clear, then resume damage. A carry removes most build pressure, but you must survive until the kill registers.
Hardcore Safety
Do not use the Hardcore character for unfamiliar bosses. Upgrade gear often, prioritize defensive affixes, and leave if the Butcher appears in a dungeon you cannot comfortably clear. The online character cannot be restored from a local backup.
DLC Trophies and 100% Completion
The platinum only requires the original 26 trophies. Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred add separate lists that raise the current total to 46.
| Trophy pack | Trophies | Tier split | Required for platinum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base game | 26 | 7 Bronze, 12 Silver, 6 Gold, 1 Platinum | Yes |
| Vessel of Hatred | 10 | 7 Bronze, 3 Silver | No |
| Lord of Hatred | 10 | 7 Bronze, 3 Silver | No |
| Full list | 46 | 21 Bronze, 18 Silver, 6 Gold, 1 Platinum | Not applicable |
Full 100% completion is far longer. Vessel of Hatred includes Paragon 300, Torment IV elite kills, Dark Citadel, Undercity, and Nahantu Helltides. Lord of Hatred adds Skovos exploration, War Plans, fishing, Transfigured gear, Echoing Hatred, and 1,000 Elite kills on Torment XII.
Hardest Diablo 4 Trophies and How to Get Them
The launch list once belonged beside the hardest platinum routes because Lilith was harsher and leveling was slower. These three trophies still define the route.
Devoted Protector
Paragon 200 is the longest requirement. Fold the rest of the list into the grind, keep experience buffs active, and farm content without downtime. Stable options include the Pit, Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, and Whispers.
Do not push difficulty only for the larger experience modifier. Time each activity and stay where the experience earned per hour is highest.
True Perseverance
The challenge is risk. A death at Level 49 still deletes the character, so use Normal, Campaign Skip, cautious leveling, and a stable connection. Power-leveling reduces exposure but not permadeath.
End of the First Mother
Echo of Lilith is much easier than the launch version, yet undergeared characters can still die to waves and collapsing platforms. Enter after establishing an endgame build, learn the safe zones in both phases, and use the lowest eligible Torment difficulty. Party carries are allowed.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to platinum Diablo 4?
Expect around 80 to 150 hours. A strong seasonal leveling route and coordinated group can shorten the grind, while a solo Eternal character can take longer.
How hard is the Diablo 4 platinum?
The current platinum is around 4/10. It was close to 9/10 at launch, but Echo of Lilith and general progression have become much more forgiving.
Are there missable trophies in Diablo 4?
True Perseverance is character-missable because dying in Hardcore deletes that character before Level 50. You can always start another attempt.
Does difficulty affect trophies in Diablo 4?
Yes. Living Nightmares requires Torment 2 or higher, and True Perseverance requires Hardcore mode.
What is the hardest trophy in Diablo 4?
True Perseverance carries the greatest risk, while End of the First Mother is the main combat test. Devoted Protector takes the most time.
Should I play Diablo 4 on PS4 or PS5 for trophies?
Either version has the same requirements. Finish one list before relying on autopop because historical cross-version sync failures can make completed challenge trophies difficult to retrigger.
Can you boost the Diablo 4 platinum?
Yes. Players can trade the five PvP kills, carry Echo of Lilith, and accelerate both Softcore and Hardcore leveling in a party.
How many playthroughs are needed for the Diablo 4 platinum?
Complete one Softcore campaign and one partial Hardcore run to Level 50. Doing everything on a single Hardcore character is possible but unnecessarily risky.
How many trophies does Diablo 4 have?
The base platinum list has 26 trophies. The full PS5 list has 46 trophies after the Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred packs.
Most of the platinum is steady progression rather than high-end execution. PlayStation trophy services can cover targeted cleanup such as Echo of Lilith, PvP kills, or the final leveling stretch.
