Quick Info
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Platinum Roadmap
Phase 1: Finish the Story While Tracking Flags and Collectibles
Play through the 16 main battlefields and complete sub battlefields as they unlock. Raise every Battle Flag you pass, collect visible items, feed each Shitieshou once, and read every tablet. These actions reduce cleanup without creating any lockouts.
Use NPC Reinforcements whenever a boss is slowing progress. They are available through Tiger Seals, count for Side by Side and Call to Arms, and mean you never need another player. Rotate through every companion for Great Gatherings, then keep one warrior active or use Cups of Cordiality until that ally reaches Oath level 10 for Merit beyond Measure.
Wo Long's deflection rhythm is closer to the timing focus in the Sekiro trophy guide than to a shield-first Souls route. Learn to deflect red Critical Blows early, since the same timing carries through Zhang Liang, Lu Bu, and the final encounters.
Phase 2: Complete Every Battlefield and Core Progression Trophy
Finish all 30 sub battlefields for a total of 46 base-game battlefields. This earns Battle-hardened along the way and ends with Hunting the Great Deer. Continue spending Genuine Qi until level 80, learn every base Wizardry Spell, and complete the spell trial missions when they appear.
Upgrade one weapon and one armor piece to +9. Equip a complete 4-star set for Fantastic Form, embed a jewel, apply a decoration, and use the Blacksmith's basic systems at least once. None of these choices are permanent because Zuo Ci allows free virtue redistribution in the Hidden Village.
Phase 3: Replay Missions for Collectibles and Special Actions
Use battlefield replay to finish the 99-item collectible checklist, all 145 Battle Flags, and any mission-specific actions. Collectibles register as soon as they are picked up, so you can leave a replay after the game saves instead of completing the whole mission again.
Clean up Heroes Will Rise, Staunching Heresy, Dogged Justice, and Strung Bow in their named battlefields. NPC invaders count for Eye for an Eye, while vengeance targets handle Righteous Judgment. Finish any remaining companion, Tiger Seal, Fatal Strike, and Critical Blow totals before the platinum.
General Tips and Recommended Build
Morale and Fortitude
Morale changes how much damage you deal and receive. Battle Flags raise your minimum Fortitude, so a death cannot drop you below that value. Before a difficult boss, raise every available flag and enter near the battlefield's recommended Morale rank. Lu Bu is much more manageable around Morale 20 than after rushing past flags.
Spirit and Deflection
Normal attacks, successful deflects, and some bonuses build positive Spirit. Wizardry Spells, Martial Arts, Spirit attacks, blocking, and taking damage push the gauge toward the negative side. Avoid spending everything at once. Deflect a combo or Critical Blow, then answer with a Spirit attack when the enemy's Spirit is near its limit.
Blocking remains useful against fast arrows and unfamiliar strings, but deflection creates the openings needed for Fatal Strikes. The reactive flow also appears in the Stellar Blade trophy route, although Wo Long places more weight on Morale and elemental counters.
Safe Build for the Platinum
A Wood and Earth foundation is reliable for a first run. Wood raises health and supports longer spell effects, while Earth improves equipment weight and the Spirit gained from deflecting. Keep the equipment load outside the heavy range, upgrade one familiar weapon to +9, and use a moveset you can control rather than chasing a single best weapon.
Water spells help suppress Lu Bu's Fire effects. A basic weapon buff, one ranged option, and a Divine Beast suited to survival are enough for the platinum. Builds can be reset for free, and Battle Sets let you store different virtue and equipment layouts.
Collectibles Overview
The standard base-game checklist contains 99 items. Battle Flags are tracked separately.
| Collectible | Count | Trophy or Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Tablets | 31 | Well-read. Read every tablet and remember the one produced by the Golden Cicada Hermit route |
| Shitieshou | 23 | How Precious!. Feed each panda demon once |
| Dragon's Cure Pot upgrades | 22 | Pots and Potions. Collect 7 Dragon Vein Crystals and 15 Dragon Vein Essences |
| Golden Cicada Shell pickups | 21 available | Ascension. Give 20 shells to the tower Hermit, then collect his tablet |
| Hidden Village house keys | 2 | Open the locked house and backyard during collectible cleanup |
| Battle Flags | 145 | Fly It High. Marking Flags are not required for this trophy |
Mission selection displays collectible and flag progress. Work battlefield by battlefield instead of relying on a single overall total. Shitieshou stay fed, tablets stay registered, and Dragon's Cure Pot upgrades remain permanent after leaving a replay.

Missable Trophies in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
There are no missable trophies. Every main and sub battlefield remains available through mission selection, including missions with special enemies, ballista kills, Battle Flags, and collectibles. You can also return to the Hidden Village at any time.
The only practical risk is poor tracking. Record completed tablets, Shitieshou, pot upgrades, and Battle Flags by battlefield. Cross-save users should also keep a backup before the last item in each collectible category because a transferred save may not recheck every trophy automatically.
Boss Strategies
Zhang Liang, General of Man
Treat the first phase as a deflection lesson. Stay close, answer short strings with normal attacks, and deflect his red Critical Blows instead of rolling away. During the second phase, survive until the Divine Beast prompt appears and activate it to end the encounter without draining the full remaining health bar.
Lu Bu
Raise every flag in The Battle of Hulaoguan Pass and enter near Morale 20. Do not chase Lu Bu around the arena while he is mounted. Block arrows, deflect the red charge, and punish only after a clean stop. Once he dismounts, focus on the red attacks and the final hit of each string rather than trying to interrupt him.
Water Wizardry can remove or suppress his Fire pressure. Two NPC Reinforcements divide his attention, but they are support rather than a substitute for learning the Critical Blow timings. The same patient, low-risk approach is useful in the Black Myth: Wukong trophy guide, where overcommitting also turns safe openings into deaths.
Blindfolded Boy
Keep enough Spirit available to deflect instead of spending it all on spells. Stay at mid-range, identify the end of each teleporting combo, and use a Spirit attack after successful deflections. Save Dragon's Cure Pot charges for the second half and avoid long Martial Arts animations unless the boss is staggered.
Hardest Trophies and How to Get Them
Mightiest of Men
Lu Bu creates the platinum's largest skill spike. The solution is preparation rather than extra playthroughs. Raise all flags, bring Reinforcements, upgrade a dependable weapon, use Water against Fire, and treat every red attack as a deflection opportunity. A few levels help, but Morale and timing matter more than raw stats.
Well-read
The 31 tablets span story missions, side battlefields, the Hidden Village, and the Golden Cicada Hermit's final reward. Use mission counters and a battlefield checklist. When the Hermit's exchange is complete, collect the tablet left at his location before assuming the category is finished.
Fly It High
All 145 Battle Flags are required, but Marking Flags are not. Reopen battlefields showing incomplete Battle Flag totals, raise the missing flag, wait for the save icon, and leave. Wo Long is demanding but remains below the longest entries on the hardest PlayStation platinums because nothing forces another run.
Autopop and DLC Notes
PS4 and PS5 save transfer works in both directions and usually autopops earned trophies. Collectible checks are less consistent, especially How Precious!, Well-read, Pots and Potions, and Ascension. After transfer, complete any main or sub battlefield to recheck the tablet, pot, and shell trophies. Feed any Shitieshou to recheck How Precious!. A cloud backup before the final collectible in each category remains useful protection.
The complete trophy list contains 90 trophies after the three DLC packs. Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdong, and Upheaval in Jingxiang add 13 Bronze trophies each. Their 39 trophies are separate from the original 51 and are not required for Wo Long.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to platinum Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty?
Allow 35-50 hours for one story run, all 46 battlefields, and collectible cleanup.
How hard is the Wo Long platinum?
It is about 5.5/10. Lu Bu is the main wall, while levels, Morale, upgraded gear, and NPC Reinforcements make most other encounters easier.
Are there missable trophies in Wo Long?
No. Full battlefield replay keeps every trophy action and collectible available.
Does difficulty affect trophies in Wo Long?
No. The game has no difficulty selection, and the Rising Dragon NG+ cycle is not required.
What is the hardest trophy in Wo Long?
Mightiest of Men is the hardest skill check because it includes Lu Bu. Well-read is the most demanding checklist trophy.
How many playthroughs are needed for the Wo Long platinum?
One playthrough is enough because all missions remain replayable and no ending trophy requires a separate route.
Are online trophies required in Wo Long?
No. NPC Reinforcements satisfy companion-related requirements, and NPC invaders count toward Eye for an Eye.
Do Wo Long trophies autopop between PS4 and PS5?
Most do after a two-way save transfer. Complete any battlefield to recheck the tablet, pot, and shell trophies, and feed any Shitieshou to recheck How Precious!.
Why does the trophy list show 90 trophies instead of 51?
The base game has 51 trophies. Three DLC packs add 39 separate Bronze trophies without changing the platinum requirements.
Wo Long's platinum stays manageable when flags and collectibles are tracked from the first battlefield. PlayStation trophy services provide a direct alternative for supported cleanup when the remaining route is more grind than challenge.
DamnModz supports PlayStation games with Platinum trophies. Choose the game and tell us what remains on your list.
