Blue hardtop on the highway
Follow the blue coupe ahead of Jason. Its cabin sits well back along the body, unlike the separate Coquette D10. The shot shows a hardtop, not the topless variant from GTA 5.

The blue sports car on the highway ahead of Jason at 0:35 in GTA 6 Trailer 2 is the original Invetero Coquette. Its long bonnet and hardtop roof echo the C7 Corvette Stingray. The shorter-nosed, mid-engined Coquette D10 is a different car and shows up elsewhere in the trailer.
The highway shot gives the clearest look at the original Coquette.

Follow the blue coupe ahead of Jason. Its cabin sits well back along the body, unlike the separate Coquette D10. The shot shows a hardtop, not the topless variant from GTA 5.
The GTA 6 car retains the shape that made the standard Coquette recognisable in GTA 5: a long bonnet, compact cabin and low two-seat sports-car body. The blue hardtop does not establish a redesigned engine or new body conversion.

The yellow GTA Online car in Rockstar’s drift-tuning announcement has a long front end, short rear and two seats. Its wing and drift setup are modifications, not evidence that the GTA 6 hardtop has them.

The blue GTA 6 hardtop seen on the highway ahead of Jason at 0:35 in Trailer 2 keeps the standard Coquette’s long-nosed C7-style silhouette. It is not a Coquette D10.
The Coquette family covers decades of Corvette-inspired GTA design. The blue car in Trailer 2 is the standard C7-shaped Coquette, while the Coquette D10 is a separate mid-engined C8-style sports car.
| Coquette model | Real-world styling comparison | GTA 6 status |
|---|---|---|
| Coquette | Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray | Seen in Trailer 2 at 0:35 as a blue hardtop. |
| Coquette D10 | Chevrolet Corvette C8 | Seen separately in official GTA 6 material. A different car. |
| Coquette Classic | Chevrolet Corvette C2 | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material. |
| Coquette BlackFin | Chevrolet Corvette C1 | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material. |
| Coquette D1 | 1956 to 1957 Chevrolet Corvette C1 | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material. |
| Coquette D5 | Chevrolet Corvette C6 | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material. |
| Coquette D10 Pursuit | Police specification of the Coquette D10 | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material. |
The C7-style Coquette places the engine ahead of the cabin, unlike the mid-engined C8-inspired Coquette D10. The Coquette Classic, BlackFin and D1 are much older Corvette interpretations. The D5 is a separate C6-inspired model, not a new name for the original car.
Trailer 2 at 0:35 shows the standard blue Coquette. The D10 has its own GTA 6 appearances, and neither car should inherit the other model’s footage, speed or GTA Online purchase history.
The standard Invetero Coquette most closely resembles the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, the seventh-generation Corvette known as the C7. That distinguishes it from the C6-inspired Coquette D5 and the mid-engined C8-inspired Coquette D10.
Its long front end and sharply cut cabin mirror the C7 stance. The game car also borrows details that recall the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, including bonnet and side vents, and its rear lamps mix Camaro-like shapes with cues from the Jaguar F-Type. It is a deliberate blend rather than a replica.
The original C7 Stingray has a 455 hp 6.2-litre V8 in Chevrolet’s standard launch specification, with 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds for the Z51-equipped car. Those are real Chevrolet figures, not GTA 5 or GTA 6 performance claims. Invetero is fictional, and the Coquette is not a licensed Corvette.
Yes, the original Invetero Coquette returned to general sale in GTA Online with Title Update 1.73. It had been removed from regular website sales in June 2023. The old $138,000 Legendary Motorsport listing is a historical price.
Premium Deluxe Motorsport has also stocked the Coquette, and players can buy eligible copies at the LS Car Meet. The showroom is no longer the only way to pick one up. GTA Online also supports drift tuning for the original Coquette.
In GTA Online, the Coquette’s tested 120.00 mph gives the old sports coupe respectable straight-line speed, but its 1:05.416 lap ranks 80th of 116 Sports cars in the 5 November 2026 list. Its attraction is more the familiar Corvette-style shape and tuning options than the fastest possible lap.
GTA 5 originally used Coquette-badged seat embroidery carried over from its GTA IV heritage, a detail altered in later editions. Its Legendary Motorsport description ends with “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” The line survives even though its original storefront placement does not.
The GTA Online Drift Tune is an option for the older game’s Coquette, not evidence that the same setup is available in GTA 6. The 120.00 mph test above is for the standard fully upgraded car.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. The standard Coquette reaches 120.00 mph (193.12 km/h) in fully upgraded GTA Online testing, but that older result is not a GTA 6 top-speed claim.
The Coquette D10 is a different car with its own GTA Online performance. The fastest GTA 6 cars guide separates older tested figures from GTA 6 speeds, which have not been announced.
Compare the fastest GTA 6 carsThe Coquette name predates GTA 5, but its design changed with the real Corvette generations it evokes. GTA IV used a different, C5-like body, GTA 5 brought the C7-style standard Coquette, and GTA Online later added separate family models.
The GTA IV Coquette, the GTA 5 standard Coquette and the GTA Online Coquette D10 are not interchangeable. The standard model’s history runs through GTA IV and GTA 5, while the D10 is the later mid-engined offshoot with its own appearance and different performance.
The standard modern Coquette is styled primarily after the Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray, especially the 2014 model. It is not a licensed Chevrolet.
Yes. The standard Invetero Coquette appears as a blue hardtop ahead of Jason on a highway in GTA 6 Trailer 2 at 0:35. That car is not the separate Coquette D10.
Yes. Rockstar brought the original Invetero Coquette back to general sale in Title Update 1.73. It was removed from routine sales in June 2023, which is why older guides tell you to wait for a showroom rotation.
No. The standard Coquette resembles the front-engined Corvette C7. The mid-engined Coquette D10 is a separate Invetero model styled after the Corvette C8, and both appear in GTA 6 material.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. The fully upgraded standard Coquette in GTA Online tests at 120.00 mph (193.12 km/h).
