The Karin Sultan returns in GTA 6, appearing as a red car with open doors in Rockstar’s Vice City screenshot 03 and in Trailer 1 at the Crosstown takeover around 0:45 to 0:46. The standard four-door Sultan is styled primarily after the Toyota Altezza, sold abroad as the first-generation Lexus IS, not the Subaru Impreza that inspires the separate Sultan Classic models.
The Sultan appears in two busy Vice City scenes. The official website’s screenshot 03 shows a red car with its doors open, while Trailer 1 brings the model into the Crosstown takeover. Those are sightings, not guaranteed places to find it in the finished game.

Look past the officers making an arrest in the street. The red Sultan is parked with its doors open, which makes the four-door body easier to pick out from traffic.

A Sultan appears among the cars at the Crosstown takeover. This is the standard saloon, not evidence that the separate Sultan Classic or RS Classic appears in the same shot.
The screenshot and takeover show the Sultan in different situations, one stationary with open doors and one amid a gathering of cars. GTA 6 purchase locations and regular traffic spawns have not been announced.
The Sultan still reads as a compact four-door sports saloon, closer in outline to the Altezza-style GTA 5 car than to the two-door Sultan RS. Its appearances show the car in a crowded street setting, not a new mechanical specification.

In GTA Online, the Sultan has four doors, four seats and a low, practical sports-saloon body. Cosmetic parts can change its look without turning it into the separately named Sultan Classic.

The red GTA 6 Sultan in Vice City screenshot 03 has its doors open. Trailer 1 shows another Sultan at the Crosstown takeover around 0:45 to 0:46, keeping the familiar four-door outline.
An open door does not indicate a convertible body or an entirely new variant. The material shows the standard Sultan’s return, while GTA 6 upgrade parts, seating options and driving performance have not been announced.
Several GTA cars carry the Sultan name, but they do not share the same body or real-world inspiration. The standard four-door model is the one shown in the GTA 6 screenshot and the Crosstown takeover sequence.
| Model | Real-world styling comparison | GTA 5 and GTA Online | GTA 6 status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sultan | Toyota Altezza / first-generation Lexus IS | Original sports saloon, $12,000 in GTA Online from Benny’s. | Seen in Vice City screenshot 03 and Trailer 1. |
| Sultan RS | Lexus IS with Subaru Impreza 2.5RS cues | Two-door Benny’s conversion, $795,000 on top of the base car. | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material. |
| Sultan Classic | Subaru Impreza WRX (GC8), with Lancer Evolution touches | Separate model, $1,718,000 in GTA Online. | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material. |
| Sultan RS Classic | Subaru Impreza 22B STI | Separate Los Santos Tuners model, $1,789,000 in GTA Online. | Not yet seen in official GTA 6 material. |
Karin is the fictional GTA marque most closely associated with Toyota. Other Karin vehicles seen in GTA 6 material include the Futo, Asterope GZ, Intruder, Rebel and a Karin SUV. They share a manufacturer, not a Sultan body style.
The regular Karin Sultan looks chiefly like Toyota’s XE10 Altezza, introduced in 1998 and sold abroad as the first-generation Lexus IS. That is distinct from the GC8 Subaru Impreza influence on the Sultan Classic and Sultan RS Classic.
The confusion has a history. The GTA IV Sultan used some Subaru-like styling, and GTA 5’s regular Sultan has all-wheel drive, as many rally-focused Imprezas do. The real Altezza was rear-wheel drive, so its resemblance to the game car is visual rather than a complete mechanical match.
Karin and the Sultan are fictional. The Altezza supplies styling context, not a licensed Toyota engine or GTA 6 performance figure. Toyota published 210 PS for the real 1998 RS200, not for the Sultan.
In GTA Online, the most straightforward way to obtain a standard Sultan is to buy it for $12,000 from Benny’s Original Motor Works. You can also take one from traffic. In GTA 5 story mode the Sultan is not sold through a vehicle dealer, so finding one on the road is the route to ownership.
These are reported GTA 5 and GTA Online search areas, not guaranteed parked vehicles. Traffic and time of day can affect what appears, and none of these Los Santos or Blaine County spots is a GTA 6 spawn location.
The standard Sultan arrived in GTA 5 at its September 2013 launch. It is a cheap four-seat Sports car with all-wheel drive, and GTA Online’s Sultan RS conversion offers a two-door Super-class alternative for players who want a more radical build.
| GTA 5 or GTA Online detail | Value |
|---|---|
| GTA 5 debut | September 2013, original game release. |
| GTA 5 class and body | Sports class, four-door saloon, four seats. |
| GTA 5 drivetrain | All-wheel drive, 40% front and 60% rear. |
| GTA 5 mass and gears | 1,400 kg, five gears. |
| GTA Online purchase price | $12,000 at Benny’s Original Motor Works, or a car taken from traffic. |
| GTA 5 tested top speed | 116.25 mph (187.09 km/h), fully upgraded. |
| GTA 5 tested lap | 1:04.982, 75th of 116 in the GTA Online Sports-class list dated 5 November 2026. |
| GTA Online Sultan RS conversion | $795,000 at Benny’s, plus the original Sultan. Introduced 28 January 2016. |
| GTA Online Sultan RS class and speed | Super class, two seats, 118.25 mph (190.30 km/h) tested. |
| GTA Online Sultan RS lap | 1:04.030 tested. |
For $12,000 in GTA Online, the Sultan is an accessible four-seat all-wheel-drive car with tuning potential. Benny’s $795,000 Sultan RS conversion adds a different two-door body and moves it into the Super class, but its tested 118.25 mph maximum is only 2.00 mph above the regular Sultan’s 116.25 mph.
The Sultan RS Classic and Sultan Classic are separate purchases rather than conversions of the regular Sultan. Their Subaru-shaped bodies are easy to confuse with the original car’s rally influences, especially alongside the older GTA IV Sultan RS.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. In GTA Online, the fully upgraded Sultan tests at 116.25 mph (187.09 km/h), a useful older-game reference that says nothing about its future GTA 6 speed.
The real Altezza RS200’s 210 PS figure does not yield a GTA speed estimate. The fastest GTA 6 cars guide separates GTA Online tests from GTA 6 numbers.
Compare the fastest GTA 6 carsThe Sultan name runs from San Andreas into the newer HD-era games, although its bodywork has not been identical throughout the series. The classic rally-style Sultan RS of GTA IV is particularly distinct from the later Benny’s conversion.
In GTA IV, the Sultan RS was a rare rally-style car with a reputation of its own. GTA Online later used the same RS name for a purchasable Benny’s conversion of the regular Sultan, not the identical Liberty City vehicle. The GTA IV location hunt and the GTA Online conversion are separate activities.
The regular modern Sultan is styled most closely after the Toyota Altezza, sold outside Japan as the first-generation Lexus IS. The Sultan Classic and Sultan RS Classic are separate Impreza-inspired models.
Yes. A red Karin Sultan appears with its doors open in Rockstar’s Vice City screenshot 03, and the standard Sultan also appears at the Crosstown takeover in Trailer 1 around 0:45 to 0:46.
In GTA Online, the standard Sultan costs $12,000 from Benny’s Original Motor Works. It can also be taken from traffic. In GTA 5 story mode, look for street or parked spawns instead.
Karin is a fictional GTA manufacturer broadly associated with Toyota-inspired vehicles. The Sultan’s closest styling comparison is the Toyota Altezza or first-generation Lexus IS.
In GTA Online the Sultan RS is a two-door Super-class conversion built from a standard Sultan at Benny’s for an extra $795,000. A Sultan RS also existed in GTA IV as a distinct rally-style variation.
