Lies of P Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap
Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep cleanup efficient for Lies of P.
Phase 1: First playthrough, lie every time
Always choose to lie when the game offers the option. Stay consistent for the whole run, this drives Humanity points, Rise of P and a very missable special weapon.
Follow a collectible guide with the missables flagged so you do not lose records, weapons or the NPC side stories.
Back up a save before the finale so you can reload for the other endings instead of replaying the whole game.
Phase 2: Endings via save reload
Reload your backed-up save to take the remaining endings. This is what turns a three-run platinum into two.
Phase 3: New Game Plus
Start New Game Plus for what can only be done there, including the final records. Buy any normal weapons you missed from the shop at the start of NG+.
Phase 4: Platinum, then Overture
Clean up the remaining collection trophies and the platinum unlocks. The Overture DLC is a separate list, and needs NG+ for full completion.

The 16 Missable Trophies
The 16 missables cover records and the Pianist trophy, normal and special weapons, the three endings, NPC side stories, and choice-dependent rewards. Follow them by loss point because several NPC steps and special weapons cannot be recovered after their related decision.
- There are 16 missable trophies, the highest risk on the list. Follow a collectible guide with missables flagged rather than exploring blind.
- Lie consistently on your first playthrough. Inconsistent choices cost you Rise of P, certain items and a very missable special weapon, and can force an extra run.
Records and the Pianist
Collect records when their quests and shops make them available, then return for the Pianist interaction before its story window closes. The final records still require New Game Plus, so keep the first-cycle checklist separate from the complete collection total.
Normal and special weapons
Normal weapons missed in the first cycle can be bought near the beginning of New Game Plus. Special weapons are tied to Boss Ergo decisions. Never consume or trade an Ergo until its weapon has been secured.
Endings and choice rewards
Lie consistently on run one to protect Humanity, Rise of P, and the related choice rewards. Keep the finale backup until every ending supported by that save has registered on the profile.
NPC side stories
Return to active NPCs after major bosses and exhaust their dialogue before advancing a chapter. Their trophies can become unavailable when the story moves past the quest location.
Guide notes
Always Lie on Run One
Lying consistently drives Humanity points, unlocks Rise of P, certain items and a very missable special weapon. Inconsistent choices force an extra playthrough.
Guide notes
The Three Endings and Run Plan
Route all three endings across two playthroughs by backing up a save before the finale and reloading, rather than replaying 30 plus hours a third time.
- Back up a save before the finale. Reloading for the other endings is what keeps this to two playthroughs instead of three.
Guide notes
Does Difficulty Affect Trophies
No trophy requires a specific difficulty. Patch 1.008 added Awakened Puppet and Butterfly's Guidance, difficulty can be changed at any time, and using either option does not disable trophies.
Guide notes
New Game Plus Requirements
New Game Plus is required for the final records and full completion. Missing normal weapons can be bought near the start of the new cycle, but Boss Ergo tied to special weapons must not be consumed or traded.
- Missing normal weapons is recoverable, they can be bought at the start of New Game Plus. The special weapons tied to Boss Ergo are not, so do not trade or consume them.
- For the Overture DLC, the Gold Records only spawn in New Game Plus, so full DLC completion is impossible on a first run.
Guide notes
Overture DLC
Its own separate list and one ending. Gold Records only spawn in New Game Plus, so the DLC cannot be 100 percented on a first run. Do not consume or trade the two Boss Ergos if you want the weapon trophy. Patch 1.09 moved access to Chapter 5 in NG+.
- For the Overture DLC, the Gold Records only spawn in New Game Plus, so full DLC completion is impossible on a first run.

General Tips
Use Specters when a boss stalls the route, keep one focused damage build, and follow the missable checklist alongside each chapter. A clean first run saves far more time than blind cleanup in New Game Plus.
Efficient route
Lies of P Platinum Strategy
Use these checkpoints alongside the roadmap to keep the Lies of P trophy route on schedule and protect the high-risk requirements.
Lock the two-run route before leaving Krat
Treat the first playthrough as the save that protects every choice-dependent requirement. Lie whenever the game presents a choice, complete NPC conversations before advancing the story, and check each chapter against the missable list before moving into the next major area. Humanity affects the Rise of P route and several rewards, so changing direction halfway through a run can cost an ending, an item, and the special weapon tied to the same decision path.
Create the finale backup before making the last ending decisions. Finish one ending, allow the trophy to sync, restore the backup, and take the alternate branch supported by that save. This is the difference between a planned two-run platinum and an unnecessary third full playthrough. Keep the backup untouched until both reload-based ending trophies have registered on the profile.
Track records, weapons, and NPC stories together
Do not treat the 16 missables as one flat collectible list. Records and the Pianist trophy depend on interactions, normal and special weapons depend on purchases and Boss Ergo decisions, and NPC trophies depend on finishing quest steps before their story cutoff. Mark each group separately so a recovered normal weapon in New Game Plus is not confused with a permanently missed special weapon from the first cycle.
Never consume or exchange Boss Ergo until the associated special weapon has been secured. Normal weapons are more forgiving because missed shop stock can be bought near the beginning of New Game Plus. NPC questlines are less forgiving, so return to their locations after major bosses and exhaust dialogue before triggering the next chapter transition.
Use difficulty tools without changing the trophy plan
Awakened Puppet and Butterfly's Guidance reduce the combat pressure introduced by the original difficulty balance. They do not disable trophies, and the setting can be changed when a boss becomes a roadblock. Specters are also valid for trophy progression, so use them when repeating an encounter would add time without protecting a missable requirement.
New Game Plus should be a targeted completion run rather than another blind playthrough. Buy the missing normal weapons early, collect the final records, finish the remaining ending path, and keep the Overture requirements separate from the base platinum. Overture has its own list, its Gold Records require New Game Plus, and the two DLC Boss Ergos must remain available for their weapon requirement.
Verify the platinum before entering the DLC
Before moving fully into Overture, confirm the three ending trophies, the complete weapon requirements, every first-cycle NPC story, and the final New Game Plus records. Keep the base-game save until the platinum has synced. Overture uses a separate list and one ending, so its progress does not repair a missing base trophy. Patch 1.09 places DLC access in Chapter 5 during New Game Plus, and the Gold Records still require that cycle.
Do not merge base and Overture checklists
The base game and Overture share a save but not a trophy list. Mark base records, weapons, endings, and NPC stories complete before using the DLC list as the next objective. This prevents a Gold Record or DLC weapon step from being mistaken for the missing requirement that is still blocking the base platinum.

Quick answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How many missable trophies are in Lies of P?
16, which is the main risk on the list. They cover records, weapon collections, the endings and the NPC side stories.
How many playthroughs does the Lies of P platinum need?
Two if you back up a save before the finale and reload for the other endings. Three if you do not.
Does playing on easy mode disable trophies?
No. The difficulty options added in patch 1.008 do not disable anything, and difficulty can be changed at any time.
Should you lie or tell the truth for trophies?
Lie consistently on your first playthrough. It drives Humanity points, the Rise of P ending, certain items and a highly missable special weapon.
Is New Game Plus required for the platinum?
Yes. Some trophies, including the final records, can only be earned in New Game Plus.
Does the Overture DLC have its own platinum?
It has its own separate trophy list. Full completion needs New Game Plus, because the Gold Records only spawn there.
