Three phases
Ghost of Tsushima Platinum Roadmap
The platinum is forgiving because nothing is missable. The most efficient route mixes story progress with nearby liberation and saves the largest collectible sweep for post-story free-roam.
Phase 1: Story and Liberation
Play through Jin’s Journey at any difficulty and clear nearby Mongol territories as you travel. Complete Mythic Tales when they appear because their abilities and armor make later cleanup faster. Visit Arrow Peak Shrine early for the Charm of Inari, which increases the supplies you collect. Try Have a Nice Fall before clearing every camp because fixed enemy groups near ledges make it easier.
Phase 2: Side Tales and Collectibles
Finish all Tales of Tsushima, every character questline, and all seven Mythic Tales. Liberating a region clears map fog and reveals most remaining points of interest. Use the Traveller’s Attire and Guiding Wind to track records, artifacts, vanity gear, and missing exploration activities efficiently.
Phase 3: Cleanup and Miscellaneous Trophies
Use post-story free-roam for combat counters, the five-enemy standoff, hidden altars, dye merchants, the Cooper Clan outfit, and Dirge of the Fallen Forge. Compare the Journal and Collection menus against the checklist below before searching the map blindly.

Missable Trophies in Ghost of Tsushima
Every base trophy remains available after the story
Dialogue choices, the ending, and ordinary mission order do not lock you out of the platinum. Post-story free-roam keeps Tsushima open for Tales, liberation, collectibles, duels, and miscellaneous cleanup.
Efficiency note: Have a Nice Fall is not missable, but it is easier while occupied camps still provide fixed enemies near ledges.

Completion checklist
Ghost of Tsushima Collectibles Overview
The platinum does not require every object in every collection. Sashimono Banners are not needed, and Records, Mongol Artifacts, and Pillars of Honor only require partial completion.
Hot Springs
Complete every Hot Spring for Body, Mind, and Spirit.
Haiku
Complete every Haiku. A few are connected to story or side content rather than ordinary map markers.
Inari Shrines
Follow foxes from Fox Dens. These also unlock charm slots for A Charming Man.
Bamboo Strikes
Complete all Bamboo Strikes for Body, Mind, and Spirit.
Shinto Shrines
Honor all Shinto Shrines for Favor of the Kami.
Lighthouses
Rekindle every lighthouse for Light the Way. One becomes available after the story.
Pillars of Honor
Only one is required for Lost and Found, though their sword kits help with outfit cleanup.
Records
Use the Traveller’s Attire and Guiding Wind to find the required 20.
Mongol Artifacts
Only 20 are required for Know Your Enemy.
Hidden Altars
These are not normal map icons. Bow where a wooden bowing sign appears.

Glitch Warning and Manual Saves
Keep several rotating manual saves
Light the Way has been reported as glitched by some players, and quest progression bugs can block wider completion. Make a fresh manual save after important Tales and before long cleanup sessions.
- Finish a mission once you start it instead of abandoning it midway through scripted steps.
- Do not rely on supply-restock exploits because unusual inventory states can make troubleshooting harder.
- For Light the Way, finish the story before judging the count because the final lighthouse becomes available afterward.
- If an activity does not register, reload a save from before it and complete the objective again.
Fastest route
PS4 to PS5 Autopop for a Free Platinum
Import a Ghost of Tsushima PS4 save from the PS5 Director’s Cut title screen. Trophies earned on that save unlock on the PS5 list, while A Moment in Time may need to be repeated by opening Photo Mode and changing a setting.
The transfer is one-way. A PS5 save cannot be sent backward to autopop the PS4 list.
Separate online list
Ghost of Tsushima Legends Co-op Trophies
Legends is optional for the platinum. Its online trophy packs are tracked separately and ask much more from the player than the relaxed base-game list.
Reach rank 20
Level one class to rank 20, then continue until Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin have all reached rank 20.
Complete Gold Survival
Finish the final wave of a Gold-difficulty Survival mission with a coordinated group.
Complete all three Raids
Finish every chapter of The Tale of Iyo. Communication and team roles matter more here than in the base game.
No Legends trophy is needed for Living Legend. Stop after the base platinum unless you specifically want 100 percent completion.

General Tips for the Ghost of Tsushima Platinum
Combat and Upgrade Tips
- Get the Charm of Inari from Arrow Peak Shrine early so normal looting produces more supplies.
- Observe Mongol leaders before killing them when possible. You can gain extra stance progress from the same leader.
- Save supplies for the Sakai Katana and Sakai Clan Armor before buying broad cosmetic upgrades.
- Use Water Stance heavy attacks as a reliable way to build the 50 staggers for Open for Business.
Collectible and Cleanup Tips
- Liberate a whole region first to remove map fog and reveal most remaining activity markers.
- Wear the Traveller’s Attire and set Guiding Wind to the specific collection you are cleaning up.
- Compare partial collections against the required count. You do not need all Records, Artifacts, or Pillars.
- If Helping Sword Hand is missing, check the two side Tales that can remain unmarked.
Common blockers
Hardest Ghost of Tsushima Trophies and How to Get Them
Helping Sword Hand
The challenge is coverage, not combat. Compare your Journal carefully and check The Cost of Fear and A Debt Repaid if the trophy has not unlocked.
Body, Mind, and Spirit
This is the largest exploration checklist. Clear map fog by liberating regions, then use Guiding Wind to finish each activity type.
All in the Wrist
Fully upgrade Sakai Clan Armor, buy both standoff streak skills, and challenge an early-region patrol where enemy feints are slower.
Have a Nice Fall
Attempt this while occupied camps still contain predictable enemy groups near ledges. Typhoon Kick offers the cleanest setup.
