Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap
Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Platinum cleanup efficient.
Phase 0: Play the PS4 version
If you want a Brotherhood platinum, play the PS4 Ezio Collection. The PS3 platinum has been permanently unobtainable since the servers closed on 1 October 2022.
Ignore any guide written before 2022 that treats the multiplayer trophies as boostable. They are gone.
Note that the Da Vinci Disappearance DLC is built into the PS4 version and all its trophies are required.
Play Assassin's Creed II first if you have not. Brotherhood starts immediately after it ends.
Phase 1: Story, with both missables done early
Play the DNA sequences, but get Dust to Dust and Mailer Daemon as soon as you can leave the Animus from Sequence 2 onward.
Both require playing as Desmond, and you lose that option after Sequence 8, so they are the only hard deadline on the list.
In Sequence 2 Mission 6, Crepi Il Lupo, use the Romulus wolf men ambush for the ten-execution streak. There are far more than ten and they die easily to executions.
If you fail any mission-specific trophy, replay the mission via Deja Vu. Nothing else is missable.
Phase 2: Rome, renovations and War Machines
Rebuild Rome and work the renovation and economy trophies, which drive the money loop.
Destroy all of Leonardo's War Machines by visiting him at the L icons, which unlocks the parachute.
Jump from the top of Castel Sant'Angelo in the Vaticano restricted area with the parachute. Buy spares from tailor shops.
Throw money into the hexagonal wells scattered around Rome, which are easy to miss since they are not flagged as collectibles.
Phase 3: The Da Vinci Disappearance
On the PS4 version this is mandatory rather than optional, so budget for it.
Find all five Thirsty Harlequins. They do not appear on the map, so listen for their distinctive laughter and use Eagle Vision in crowded areas like marketplaces and near landmarks.
Some are in alleyways or on rooftops rather than obvious spots, so expect thorough exploration.
This is the section most likely to stall a reader. One soft mention of DamnModz fits here.
Phase 4: Cleanup and the platinum
Finish the collectibles, viewpoints and remaining side content in free roam.
Complete the Animus Virtual Training Program challenges if the list requires them.
The platinum should land at around 30 to 35 hours on the PS4 version.
Guide notes
The PS3 Platinum Is Dead
First section after the Quick Info box. Ubisoft closed the PS3 online servers on 1 October 2022 and every multiplayer trophy became unobtainable with them, which makes the PS3 platinum permanently impossible. State the date and the consequence plainly.
Guide notes
The PS4 Ezio Collection Is the Route
Released November 2016 with its own separate trophy list. It introduced no new trophies but removed the multiplayer component entirely, which is ten fewer trophies and a considerably easier platinum. Anyone who wants a Brotherhood platinum needs this version.
Guide notes
The Da Vinci Disappearance Is Mandatory on PS4
On PS3 it was optional DLC. On the Ezio Collection it is built into the game and all its trophies are required for the platinum. That includes finding the five Thirsty Harlequins, who do not appear on the map at all and must be located by listening for their laughter or using Eagle Vision in crowded areas.
Guide notes
Both Missables Have a Sequence 8 Cutoff
Dust to Dust and Mailer Daemon both require playing as Desmond, and you lose that option after Sequence 8. Both become available from Sequence 2 onward, so do them as soon as you can leave the Animus. On a 35 hour game a hard cutoff two thirds of the way through deserves prominence.
Efficient route
The Execution Streak
Ten enemies executed in a row in one fight without being hit or grabbed. The best location is Sequence 2 Mission 6, Crepi Il Lupo, where you are ambushed by far more than ten Romulus wolf men who go down easily to executions. Missions can be replayed as often as you like via Deja Vu, so a failed attempt costs nothing.
The Parachute and Castel Sant'Angelo
The parachute unlocks after destroying all of Leonardo's War Machines, obtained by visiting him at the L icon and interacting with his bench. You then need to jump from the top of Castel Sant'Angelo in the Vaticano restricted area. Spare parachutes come from tailor shops.
The Wells
Hexagonal wells around Rome, usually surrounded by wooden decking. Select your money pouch from the weapon wheel and throw money in. Easy to overlook because they are not marked as collectibles.
Play Assassin's Creed II First
Brotherhood picks up immediately where the previous game ends, and guides consistently recommend playing them in order. Worth a line, especially for Ezio Collection owners deciding where to start.
Not Assassin's Creed II or Revelations
Cross-link both. Revelations has the same dead PS3 platinum situation, and Assassin's Creed II never had multiplayer at all.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Missable, Glitched, and Difficulty Notes
- The PS3 platinum is permanently unobtainable. Ubisoft closed those servers on 1 October 2022 and all ten multiplayer trophies died with them.
- The PS4 Ezio Collection removed multiplayer entirely and has its own separate list, so that platinum is obtainable.
- On the PS4 version the Da Vinci Disappearance DLC is included and all its trophies are required for the platinum, rather than optional as on PS3.
- Two missables on PS4, Dust to Dust and Mailer Daemon. Both require playing as Desmond and you lose that option after Sequence 8.
- Both become available from Sequence 2, so do them at the first opportunity you have to leave the Animus.
- Missions can be replayed as often as you like via Deja Vu, so mission-specific trophies are recoverable.
- The parachute needed for the Castel Sant'Angelo jump only unlocks after destroying all of Leonardo's War Machines.
- The five Thirsty Harlequins do not appear on the map at all and must be found by sound and Eagle Vision.
- There is no difficulty setting, so nothing is difficulty gated.
Quick answers
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you still get the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood platinum?
Only on PS4. Ubisoft closed the PS3 servers on 1 October 2022, which made all ten multiplayer trophies and therefore the PS3 platinum permanently unobtainable. The PS4 Ezio Collection removed multiplayer entirely.
Is the Ezio Collection version of Brotherhood easier?
Considerably. It has ten fewer trophies because multiplayer was removed, and it is a separate list from the PS3 version. It is the only route to a Brotherhood platinum now.
Do you need the Da Vinci Disappearance DLC?
On the PS4 Ezio Collection yes. It is built into the game and all its trophies are required for the platinum, unlike on PS3 where it was optional.
Which Brotherhood trophies are missable?
Two on the PS4 version, Dust to Dust and Mailer Daemon. Both need you to play as Desmond, and you lose that option after Sequence 8, so do them from Sequence 2 onward.
How long does it take to platinum Brotherhood?
Around 30 to 35 hours on the PS4 Ezio Collection, at roughly 3 to 4 out of 10 difficulty.
Where do you get the ten execution streak in Brotherhood?
Sequence 2 Mission 6, Crepi Il Lupo. You are ambushed by far more than ten Romulus wolf men and they go down easily to executions. Replay the mission via Deja Vu if you fail.
How do you find the Thirsty Harlequins?
They do not appear on the map. Listen for their distinctive laughter and use Eagle Vision in crowded areas like marketplaces and near landmarks, though some hide in alleyways or on rooftops.
Should you play Assassin's Creed II before Brotherhood?
Yes. Brotherhood begins immediately where the previous game ends, and the story will be confusing without it.
