Efficient route

Life is Strange 2 Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap

Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the Life is Strange 2 Platinum cleanup efficient.

1

Phase 1: Play the five episodes

Play through all five episodes. There is no difficulty setting and nothing is missable.

In each episode, find the drawing point and sit to sketch. Observe the room first by looking up and holding the observe input, then look back at the paper and move the stick.

Collect the optional collectibles as you go if you want to avoid cleanup, or ignore them entirely and play for the story.

In Episode 3 take the upward path at the canyon trail split and ask Daniel to retrieve the shiny object across the gap.

In Episode 5, complete the sculpture with Daniel then accept the treasure hunt when he radios you.

2

Phase 2: Collectible Mode cleanup

Open Collectible Mode from the main menu. It lets you replay any chapter or individual scene without changing your original choices.

Work through whatever you missed episode by episode. Specks Of Dust in Episode 5 is the one most likely to need a location list.

Because your story choices are preserved, there is no risk of altering your ending by doing this.

The platinum should land at 10 to 15 hours in total.

Guide notes

It Takes 10 to 15 Hours, Not 3

First section after the Quick Info box. Several pages quote 2 to 3 hours for this platinum. That is the Episode 1 figure, taken from a guide covering only that episode, applied to the whole five episode game. The realistic figure is 10 to 15 hours.

Guide notes

Collectible Mode Means Nothing Is Missable

Available from the main menu once you have played, it lets you replay any chapter and even any individual scene to pick up collectibles, without altering any of your original story choices. That is unusually generous and it is why a 47 trophy collectible list has zero missables. Say it early, because the collectible count looks daunting otherwise.

Guide notes

Play Blind or Follow the Guide

Two valid approaches. Play through blind for the story and use Collectible Mode afterwards, which is the better experience, or follow the per-episode collectible guidance and finish in a single pass with no cleanup. Give both with the trade-off rather than prescribing.

Efficient route

Each Episode Needs Two Things

, an H3 per episode. The drawing or sketch opportunity, and all optional collectibles. Structure the whole page around that pairing, since it is the entire trophy list. For the drawing, you must observe the room first by looking up and holding the observe input, then look back at the paper and move the stick to sketch.

1

The Collectibles People Walk Past

In Episode 3, on the canyon trail there are two paths at a split. Take the upward one and go to the edge, inspect the shiny object across the gap and ask Daniel to use his power to bring it to you. In Episode 5, inside the community where Karen lives you complete a sculpture with Daniel, after which he radios you with a treasure hunt you must accept. Both require an active Daniel interaction rather than simply walking over an item.

2

Specks Of Dust

All optional collectibles in Episode 5, the rarest trophy and the one most likely to need a location list. Give it a full checklist.

3

Seven Endings, No Trophy Conflict

The game has seven endings depending on your choices, and the ending trophy fires whichever one you reach. No trophy requires seeing more than one, so a single playthrough is genuinely enough.

4

Not Life is Strange or True Colors

The original Life is Strange has its own list with a similar Collectible Mode for optional photos. Disambiguate and note the first game, Before the Storm and True Colors as possible builds.

Life is Strange 2 Missable, Glitched, and Difficulty Notes

  • No missable trophies. Collectible Mode from the main menu lets you replay any chapter or individual scene without changing your original story choices.
  • There are no difficulty settings and no online trophies.
  • Seven endings exist but no trophy requires more than one, so a single playthrough is enough.
  • Each episode needs its drawing or sketch opportunity plus all optional collectibles. Those two things are the whole list.
  • Specks Of Dust, all optional collectibles in Episode 5, is the rarest and the one most likely to need a location guide.
  • Some collectibles need an active Daniel power interaction rather than simply walking over them, notably the Episode 3 canyon object.
  • Published time estimates of 2 to 3 hours are the Episode 1 figure. The full game is 10 to 15 hours.

No. There are seven endings but no trophy requires more than one, and the ending trophy fires whichever one you reach.

How do you do the drawing in Life is Strange 2?

Sit at the drawing point, then observe the room first by looking up and holding the observe input. Once the room is outlined, look back at the paper and move the stick to sketch.
