Elden Ring Platinum Roadmap
Phase 1: Explore, Bosses and Collectibles
Work through every major region, including the underground areas, Consecrated Snowfield, Miquella's Haligtree, and Crumbling Farum Azula. You need the 30 trophy bosses rather than every boss, so prioritize Great Runes, quest areas, legendary items, and upgrade materials.
Raise Vigor, keep one main weapon upgraded, and improve a Spirit Ash such as Mimic Tear or Black Knife Tiche. No class, build, or weapon can lock you out, and Rennala lets you respec.
Progress Ranni's quest after Caria Manor. Defeat Radahn, collect Nokron's Fingerslayer Blade, use the Carian Inverted Statue, take the Cursemark of Death from the Divine Tower of Liurnia, then continue through Nokstella, the Lake of Rot, Astel, and the Cathedral of Manus Celes. This prepares Ranni's ending and Fia's route.
Keep Fia alive when you meet her in Deeproot Depths. Choose No, I want to be held, give her the Cursemark of Death, exhaust her dialogue, and enter the Deathbed Dream when she sleeps. Defeat Lichdragon Fortissax before attacking Fia or leaving her quest unresolved.
The most important world-state warning is in Leyndell. Pick up Bolt of Gransax from the giant spear after defeating the golden shade of Godfrey and before defeating Maliketh. Leyndell becomes the Ashen Capital after Maliketh, removing access to the weapon. The route rewards the same deliberate NPC and item tracking used in Dark Souls Remastered's platinum journey, although Elden Ring needs only one playthrough with a backup.
Do not open the red door leading to the Three Fingers yet. Inheriting the Frenzied Flame blocks the normal and Ranni ending choices unless you complete the long process required to use Miquella's Needle.
Phase 2: Final Boss and Endings
Defeat Radagon of the Golden Order and the Elden Beast. Activate the Site of Grace in the arena, but do not touch Fractured Marika and do not use Ranni's blue summon sign. Quit to the title screen so the game saves, then create a backup.
On PS5, disable automatic cloud synchronization for Elden Ring before manually uploading the save to PlayStation Plus cloud storage. On PS4, you can use cloud storage or copy the save to USB. Confirm that the backup predates every ending choice.
Use this order:
- Interact with Fractured Marika and choose the standard repair option or an available Mending Rune to earn Elden Lord.
- Restore the backup, then use Ranni's blue summon sign to earn Age of the Stars.
- Restore the backup again, leave the arena, descend to the Three Fingers beneath Leyndell, remove all armor, and open the red door. Return to Fractured Marika to earn Lord of Frenzied Flame.
The Frenzied Flame ending should be last because its mark overrides the other ending choices. If you inherited the flame earlier, you must finish Millicent's quest, obtain Miquella's Needle, and use it in Dragonlord Placidusax's arena to restore access to other endings.
Phase 3: Cleanup
After an ending, decline Journey 2. You can keep exploring, defeat remaining trophy bosses, finish the legendary sets, and fully upgrade a weapon.
Check the four legendary collection trophies against the lists below. If Legendary Armaments does not unlock, move all nine weapons into storage at a Site of Grace and withdraw them one at a time. As a fallback, use Leave on one armament and pick it back up immediately. Never choose Discard.
New Game Plus is only necessary after a missed lockout or if you skipped the ending backup. The usual causes are Bolt of Gransax and Fortissax.

Missable Trophies and Endings
Five trophy entries are missable. A correctly timed backup handles the three endings, but it cannot recover Bolt of Gransax or a dead Fia.
Elden Lord
This trophy covers the standard ending and the variants created by available Mending Runes. After the final boss, interact with Fractured Marika and choose an eligible repair option. Any Elden Lord variant awards the same trophy, so you do not need every Mending Rune.
Age of the Stars
Complete Ranni's full quest through the Cathedral of Manus Celes. After defeating the Elden Beast, a blue summon sign appears near Fractured Marika. Use that sign rather than touching the statue. The sign will not appear if Ranni's quest is incomplete.
Lord of Frenzied Flame
Reach the Frenzied Flame Proscription beneath the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, remove all equipment, and open the Three Fingers' red door. Once marked, your ending choice is locked to Lord of Frenzied Flame unless you cure it with Miquella's Needle. Open the door only after securing the endgame backup and earning the other endings from restored saves.
Legendary Armaments and Bolt of Gransax
Bolt of Gransax lies on the enormous spear embedded in Leyndell. From the Erdtree Sanctuary area, descend toward the spear and climb onto it to collect the weapon. Take it before defeating Maliketh, since the Ashen Capital version of Leyndell removes the route and item.
Collect Recusant Bernahl's Devourer's Scepter through his encounter or invasion before finishing Crumbling Farum Azula. Bolt of Gransax is the critical Leyndell lockout, but resolving Bernahl's reward before Maliketh also prevents avoidable NPC-state problems.
Lichdragon Fortissax
Fia moves to Deeproot Depths after her Roundtable Hold quest progresses. Do not attack her. Choose No, I want to be held, give her the Cursemark of Death, exhaust and refresh her dialogue, then interact with her sleeping body to enter the Deathbed Dream. Defeating Fortissax inside the dream awards the trophy.
Legendary Collectibles
You need 30 legendary collectibles across four trophies. DLC items do not count, and Remembrance weapons are not part of the Legendary Armaments set.

You can return to almost every trophy boss after the ending if you decline Journey 2. Fortissax is the quest exception.
Shardbearer Malenia
Malenia is the hardest individual trophy for most players. She heals on contact, even through a shield, so dodging matters more than blocking. Bring high Vigor, a fully upgraded weapon and Spirit Ash, plus bleed or frost.
Keep enough distance to react when she rises for Waterfowl Dance. Sprint away from the opening flurry when spacing allows, then dodge through the later bursts rather than rolling backward. In phase two, avoid the Scarlet Aeonia impact and punish the recovery after the flower opens. The aggressive spacing also resembles the boss discipline found in Bloodborne's platinum route, although Spirit Ashes provide more flexibility here.
Maliketh the Black Blade
The Beast Clergyman phase rewards patience after his dagger and stone combos. In phase two, Maliketh's attacks reduce maximum health and apply lingering damage. Stay close enough that his wide aerial arcs pass over or beside you, use pillars to reset the fight, and avoid panic rolling away in a straight line.
The Blasphemous Claw can parry attacks that flash gold, creating a large punish window. It is optional, so a strong summon and controlled positioning are enough if the timing feels unreliable.
Godskin Duo
Sleep is the cleanest answer to Godskin Duo. Sleep Pots, sleep arrows, or another sleep source can disable one target while you focus on the other. Use the pillars to break line of sight and block projectiles, then fight one enemy at a time.
Their shared health bar remains active through revivals, so continue damaging isolated targets rather than splitting attacks evenly. A durable Spirit Ash makes the encounter much more manageable by preventing both enemies from pressuring you at once.
