Look beside the red convertible on Shore Drive at 8:32 in An Extended Look: the silver four-door is the civilian Bravado Buffalo STX. There are two other useful views in GTA 6. A second street car approaches a few seconds later, and a blue-and-green race car shows its Buffalo lettering at 17:43. The marked Pursuit is a separate version.
The standard Buffalo STX appears five times across Trailer 1 and An Extended Look. The traffic shots, Shore Drive cars and race-liveried example are different views of the civilian model, not the police Pursuit.

The rear of a Buffalo STX appears ahead of the Tulip carrying Jason and Lucia past a shopping mall in Waning Sands.

A Buffalo STX drives along Shore Drive in Vice Beach, revealing the front-end styling and stock wheels.

Another Buffalo STX passes through the same Vice Beach road sequence.

A Buffalo STX appears wearing a racing livery instead of the simpler street-car presentation.
The familiar Charger-like four-door body carries over, while the GTA 6 civilian model changes the details that make the stock car recognisable. The clearest contrast is in its wheels and grille.

The original civilian STX has bold, widebody-inspired stock wheels and a Bravado badge in the grille. Its broad shoulders and four-door shape established the model in The Contract.

The Shore Drive car has slimmer-looking stock wheels and a model badge in place of the Bravado grille emblem. The long bonnet and four-door profile still identify it as an STX.
The new wheel design makes the car look closer to an everyday Dodge Charger than the GTA Online version’s aggressive stock setup. The long bonnet, four doors and strong rear haunches remain, so it still reads as the same Buffalo STX rather than a new Buffalo family model.
The standard Buffalo STX and the Buffalo STX Pursuit are both visible in GTA 6 material, but they have different roles. The police car has dedicated equipment and liveries, while the civilian STX belongs to the regular Buffalo performance line.
| Variant | GTA 6 status | Distinguishing feature |
|---|---|---|
| Buffalo STX | Seen in Trailer 1 and An Extended Look | Civilian four-door performance sedan. |
| Buffalo STX Pursuit | Seen in both trailers and an official screenshot | Police-equipped STX with lightbars and department markings. |
| Buffalo EVX | Not yet seen | Separate electric Buffalo model in GTA Online. |
| Buffalo S | Not yet seen | Older performance sedan, not the STX. |
GTA Online classifies the civilian STX as Muscle and the Pursuit as Emergency. That distinction matters when comparing their prices, tested speeds and upgrades, all of which differ despite the shared body style.
The Buffalo STX Pursuit is the police-equipped member of the family. Its lightbars, push bar and local department markings set it apart from the regular STX, and it appears in two Trailer 1 shots, the Trailer 2 bus chase and official Jason and Lucia screenshot 09.
The Pursuit wears different police identities in the Vice City area. Vice City Police Department styling recalls Miami Police Ford Police Interceptor sedans, while the Vice-Dale scheme draws more closely on Miami-Dade police Dodge Charger Pursuits. The markings are part of the game’s fictional departments.
The Buffalo STX Pursuit is already a GTA Online vehicle. GTA+ members could claim it for free from 2 April 2026, and Warstock Cache & Carry opened purchases to everyone on 9 April 2026 during the A Safehouse in the Hills release cycle.

| Tested top speed | 128.75 mph (207.20 km/h), fully upgraded GTA Online Pursuit |
| Tested lap | 1:02.145, GTA Online Pursuit test |
In GTA Online, buying the Pursuit requires progress through The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid, while its lower trade price is tied to Protective Custody Dispatch Work. Those requirements belong to GTA Online, as do the $5,370,000 price and the Pursuit’s 128.75 mph tested speed.
The GTA Online Pursuit laps in 1:02.145, compared with 1:03.147 for the standard Buffalo STX. These are results for two separate GTA Online vehicles. The police version’s performance cannot be used as the civilian STX’s speed in GTA 6.

The Buffalo STX takes its central design from the 2015 to 2023 Dodge Charger, especially the muscle-sedan stance and broad rear quarters. It mixes styling from several Charger trims rather than recreating one production model.
The muscular four-door proportions recall the seventh-generation Charger. Elements of the R/T Scat Pack, Daytona, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat appear together, while the STX name may play on Dodge’s SXT trim badge with the letters rearranged.
Other details have their own influences. The taillight treatment resembles the third-generation Dodge Viper, the hood has Shelby GT350-like elements, and the side vents recall BMW M3 and M4 designs from the same period. The main reference remains the Charger.
A real Hellcat may explain the styling attitude, but it supplies no GTA 6 horsepower, speed or drivetrain figure. In GTA Online the STX is the supercharged V8 muscle sedan with its own physics and tuning options.
The Buffalo STX arrived with The Contract on 15 December 2021. These prices, speeds and weapon options apply to the ordinary civilian car in GTA Online, not the separately sold Buffalo STX Pursuit.
The 99.11 mph handling-file value is not the same measurement as the 126.00 mph recorded by a fully upgraded GTA Online STX in a top-speed test. The difference is almost 27 mph, making the tested result the useful one when comparing ordinary GTA Online driving performance.
For a Muscle-class car, the STX combines strong straight-line pace with unusually useful defensive modifications. The Agency vehicle workshop lets owners choose either the Remote Control Unit or the Missile Lock-on Jammer, plus armor plating, mounted machine guns and slick proximity mines. The two Imani Tech choices cannot be installed together.
Bullet-resistant windows and explosive protection make the armored STX especially useful for staying mobile under attack. Protection depends on who is driving. An empty or remotely driven car withstands less explosive damage than the same upgraded car with a player inside.
The Buffalo EVX takes a different approach in GTA Online. It is electric, uses all-wheel drive and supports an HSW conversion. The petrol V8-powered STX is rear-wheel drive and has no HSW upgrade.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. For now, the only comparable measured speed for the standard Buffalo STX comes from a fully upgraded GTA Online test.
The 126.00 mph GTA Online test and the 204 mph real Charger SRT Hellcat claim measure different vehicles under different conditions. Neither tells us how quickly the Buffalo STX will drive in GTA 6. The fastest-cars guide separates GTA 6 results from legacy game figures.
The standard STX has no Hao’s Special Works version in GTA Online, so there is no STX HSW top-speed figure to compare. The electric Buffalo EVX does have an HSW upgrade, but it is a different model.
Compare the fastest GTA 6 carsThe Buffalo name now covers an everyday sedan, muscle variants, police cars and an electric performance model. The GTA 6 appearances are specific to individual cars rather than the entire nameplate.
| Model | Appears in | GTA 6 status | Role in the family |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buffalo | GTA 5 and GTA Online | Seen in An Extended Look | Original road-going Buffalo sedan. |
| Buffalo S | GTA 5 and GTA Online | Not yet seen | Older high-performance Buffalo. |
| Police Cruiser (Buffalo) | GTA 5 and GTA Online | Seen in Trailer 1 | Earlier Buffalo-based police interceptor. |
| Buffalo STX | GTA Online, since December 2021 | Seen in GTA 6 footage | Civilian four-door V8 Muscle car. |
| Buffalo STX Pursuit | GTA Online, since April 2026 | Seen in GTA 6 footage | Dedicated police-equipped Emergency vehicle. |
| Buffalo EVX | GTA Online, since June 2023 | Not yet seen | Electric, all-wheel-drive Buffalo with HSW in GTA Online. |
The Buffalo EVX and Buffalo STX are especially easy to mix up. In GTA Online, the EVX is electric and all-wheel drive with HSW available, while the STX has a supercharged V8, rear-wheel drive and no HSW conversion. Of those two, the standard STX is the one seen in GTA 6 footage.
Franklin’s Frost White STX with its FC1988 plate is another familiar GTA Online example. It can appear at the Agency, but remains an individual example of the civilian model rather than the separate police Pursuit.
Yes. The standard Buffalo STX appears in Trailer 1 at 0:46 and 1:00 and in An Extended Look at 8:32, 8:35 and 17:43. Those scenes show the car in Vice City, not guaranteed spawn points.
Yes. The Buffalo STX Pursuit appears in Trailer 1 at 1:03 and 1:06, Trailer 2 at 1:58 and official Jason and Lucia screenshot 09. It is the police model, not the civilian STX.
The Buffalo STX is chiefly styled on the 2015 to 2023 Dodge Charger, with elements associated with trims such as the SRT Hellcat. Bravado is fictional and the car is not a licensed Dodge.
In GTA Online, the standard Buffalo STX costs $2,150,000 at Southern San Andreas Super Autos. The $1,612,500 trade price is unlocked by buying a Celebrity Solutions Agency.
GTA 6 top speed: At launch. The fully upgraded standard Buffalo STX reaches 126.00 mph (202.78 km/h) in GTA Online. The police Buffalo STX Pursuit is a separate GTA Online vehicle that tests at 128.75 mph.
No. The Buffalo STX cannot receive a Hao’s Special Works conversion in GTA Online. The separate electric Buffalo EVX can.
