Resident Evil Requiem Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap
Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep cleanup efficient for Resident Evil Requiem.
Phase 1: Casual run with all collectibles
Play on Casual and gather everything, Files, the 25 Mr Raccoon Memoriams, safes, BSAA containers and antique coins. Files and Mr Raccoons carry over, so this only needs doing once.
Keep a manual save in each area, since there is no chapter select to fall back on.
Phase 2: The challenge run
Do a dedicated Casual run for the three challenge trophies together, the speed run, the no-item run and the minimalist run. Watch all three counters in the Challenges menu.
If any counter moves above zero, that trophy is void for the run, so decide immediately whether to restart.
Phase 3: Insanity run
Play Insanity using the infinite ammo and rocket launcher unlocks, which are trophy-compatible. This single clear stacks all the lower difficulty trophies.
Bank the CP from this run, which should cover what you still need to buy.
Phase 4: Bonus Menu and platinum
Spend CP on the Concept Art and Models (10,000 CP combined) from the Bonus Menu. The Requiem platinum unlocks once the last purchase lands.
Guide notes
The Same-Run Challenge Rule
The speed run, no-item and minimalist trophies must all be earned in one playthrough. Check all three counters in the Challenges menu, because any counter rising above zero voids that requirement for the current run.
- The three challenge trophies must all be completed in the same playthrough, and each is voided as soon as its counter rises above zero. Track them together in the Challenges menu.
Guide notes
Difficulty Stacking
All difficulty trophies stack, so one Insanity clear covers every lower difficulty at once. Combined with the trophy-compatible cheats, this removes most of the perceived challenge.
- Difficulty trophies stack, so do not waste a run on a middle difficulty. One Insanity clear covers them all.
Guide notes
Cheats Are Allowed
Infinite Ammo and the infinite rocket launcher do not void trophies.
Efficient route
CP Management
Reserve 10,000 CP for Concept Art and Models before spending heavily elsewhere. Infinite Ammo and the rocket launcher can support the Insanity run, while the optional two-playthrough secret challenge provides a large CP bonus.
Reserve the collection budget
Hold 10,000 CP for Concept Art and Models before buying convenience rewards. Treat that amount as unavailable until the collection purchase is complete.
Buy trophy-compatible tools
Infinite Ammo and the infinite rocket launcher do not disable trophies. Use them to make the Insanity clear consistent after the reserved CP is protected.
Use the secret challenge deliberately
The optional challenge spans two playthroughs and awards a large CP bonus. Plan it before the second ending when the current balance would otherwise force an extra run.
Guide notes
The Three Run Plan
Run one on Casual for collectibles, run two on Casual for the speed, no-item and minimalist requirements, then clear Insanity to stack every difficulty trophy. Check the Challenges counters throughout the second run.
- The three challenge trophies must all be completed in the same playthrough, and each is voided as soon as its counter rises above zero. Track them together in the Challenges menu.
- Files and Mr Raccoon collectibles carry between playthroughs, as do Bonus Menu purchases. Nothing else carries, so plan each run.
Guide notes
Saves Instead of Chapter Select
There is no chapter select, free roam or New Game Plus. Rotate the 12 manual save slots by area so they act as recovery points. Files, Mr Raccoons and Bonus Menu purchases carry between runs, while most run-specific progress does not.
- There is no chapter select, free roam or New Game Plus, so keep manual saves per area and use them as a makeshift chapter select.
Guide notes
Collectibles
Collect every File, all 25 Mr Raccoon Memoriams, the safes, BSAA containers and antique coins. Files and Mr Raccoons carry between playthroughs, so only missed entries need attention later.
- Files and Mr Raccoon collectibles carry between playthroughs, as do Bonus Menu purchases. Nothing else carries, so plan each run.
Efficient route
Resident Evil Requiem Platinum Strategy
Use these checkpoints alongside the roadmap to keep the Resident Evil Requiem trophy route on schedule and protect the high-risk requirements.
If you want hands-on completion help, see the Resident Evil Village Platinum Trophy service.
Build the three runs around their counters
Run one on Casual should gather Files, all 25 Mr Raccoon Memoriams, safes, BSAA containers, and antique coins. Run two stays on Casual for the speed, no-item, and minimalist trophies. Run three uses Insanity, stacks every lower difficulty trophy, and spends the unlocked tools that make combat predictable.
The three challenge trophies must be completed in the same playthrough. Open the Challenges menu regularly and confirm that all three counters remain valid. The moment a restricted counter rises above zero, that requirement is lost for the current run. Restart from a clean manual save immediately instead of carrying a failed counter to the ending.
Budget CP before buying convenience
Concept Art and Models require 10,000 CP, so reserve that amount before buying optional rewards. Infinite Ammo and the infinite rocket launcher do not disable trophies, making them legitimate tools for the Insanity clear. Buy only what supports the remaining route until the collection purchase is protected.
The optional secret challenge spans two playthroughs and pays a large CP bonus. Plan it before the second ending if the current balance would otherwise force a fourth run. Check the Bonus Menu after every completion and keep a written total of committed CP, because an early convenience purchase can create more replay time than it saves.
Use 12 manual saves as chapter recovery points
Resident Evil Requiem has no chapter select, free roam, or New Game Plus. Rotate the 12 manual slots by area and keep older saves until every local collectible and challenge condition is confirmed. These saves function as a manual chapter selector when a File, Raccoon, safe, or restricted action is missed.
Files, Mr Raccoons, and Bonus Menu purchases carry between playthroughs, while most run-specific progress does not. The collectible run can therefore be repaired later, but the same-run challenge counters cannot. Keep separate save naming for the collectible route, the restricted Casual route, and Insanity so an overwrite never removes the only clean checkpoint for a required run.
Keep the three save families separate
Reserve one group of manual slots for the collectible Casual run, one for the restricted same-run challenges, and one for Insanity. Label the oldest safe checkpoint by area and never overwrite the only save that predates a failed counter. Before the final ending, verify the collectible carryover, the three restricted counters, the Insanity setting, and the remaining CP purchases. This separation turns the 12 slots into a dependable recovery system.

Resident Evil Requiem Missable, Glitched, and Difficulty Notes
- The three challenge trophies must all be completed in the same playthrough, and each is voided as soon as its counter rises above zero. Track them together in the Challenges menu.
- There is no chapter select, free roam or New Game Plus, so keep manual saves per area and use them as a makeshift chapter select.
- Files and Mr Raccoon collectibles carry between playthroughs, as do Bonus Menu purchases. Nothing else carries, so plan each run.
- Difficulty trophies stack, so do not waste a run on a middle difficulty. One Insanity clear covers them all.
- Infinite Ammo and the infinite rocket launcher do not void trophies, so use them on Insanity.
- Budget CP carefully. The Concept Art and Models cost 10,000 CP combined, and poor CP spending is the main reason people need a fourth playthrough.
Quick answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How many trophies are in Resident Evil Requiem?
50 on PS5, made up of 1 platinum, 3 gold, 6 silver and 40 bronze. Other platforms have 49 achievements.
Do cheats disable trophies in Resident Evil Requiem?
No. Infinite Ammo and the infinite rocket launcher are fully compatible with trophies, which makes the Insanity run straightforward.
Do difficulty trophies stack?
Yes. A single Insanity clear satisfies every lower difficulty requirement at once, so there is no need for a middle-difficulty run.
How many playthroughs does the platinum need?
Three. One collectible run, one dedicated challenge run, and one Insanity run for the stacked difficulty trophies and CP.
Can the challenge trophies be split across runs?
No. The speed run, no-item and minimalist trophies must all be earned in the same playthrough, and each voids if its counter moves above zero.
Is there a New Game Plus?
No. Files, Mr Raccoon collectibles and Bonus Menu purchases carry between playthroughs, but nothing else does.
