Code Vein Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap
Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep the Code Vein Platinum cleanup efficient.
Phase 1: First playthrough, To Eternity plus the variant trick
Play at your own pace. There are no difficulty-related trophies.
Target To Eternity as your first ending, since it affects later playthroughs the least.
Restore all four successors as you go, and restore every Vestige you find by taking parts to Io. Some parts only appear in the Depths, so do that content.
Do NOT pick up the Eos Vestiges before the final boss. This is the setup for the two-endings-in-one-run trick.
Bank the miscellaneous trophies as you play, the special drain from a parry or back attack, the Communal Gift use with 20 or 24 Ichor, and the combat oddities.
Phase 2: The double ending
Beat the final boss without having restored the Eos Vestiges. The game saves and reloads you at the Mistle before the boss.
Now collect all Eos Vestiges, restore what you can to Io by the elevator and the rest at Home Base, and beat the final boss again.
That is two endings from a single playthrough, leaving only two more to get.
Clean up any outstanding trophies before choosing to enter New Game Plus, since the five technically missable trophies are recoverable up to that point.
Phase 3: New Game Plus runs for the remaining endings
Choose plain New Game Plus rather than NG+ enhanced. Plain NG+ leaves you massively overpowered, which is what you want.
You carry over blood codes, regeneration factors, equipment, gifts and items, and cutscenes are skippable, so runs drop to 4 to 5 hours.
Take Heirs on one run and the Dweller in the Dark pair on the final run. Follow the ending conditions precisely, the difference between the two Dweller variants is easy to fumble.
Pick up the Queen Blood Code, which is endgame only.
Phase 4: The 150 skills and the medal grind
Learn 150 gifts. Defaults that arrive with a Blood Code do not count, so you unlock these at Mistles by converting EXP.
Exalted Reputation is the last wall, roughly 400 Mark of Honor medals for companion reputation rank 30. One medal per co-op boss kill and only two world drops per playthrough.
Verify co-op is still populated before starting. If matchmaking is thin, point readers at gaming sessions rather than implying it is routine.
This is the grind buyers most want handled. One soft mention of DamnModz fits here, then back to farming advice.
Guide notes
How to Get Two Endings in One Playthrough
Placed above the roadmap. On your first run restore all four successors but do NOT pick up the Eos Vestiges. Beat the final boss and the game saves you at the Mistle before it. Now collect and restore the Eos Vestiges and beat the boss again. That awards two endings from one run and reduces the platinum from four playthroughs to three.
Guide notes
All Four Endings Must Be on One Save
They cannot be split across saves and PSN cloud saving cannot be used to shortcut them.
Efficient route
Exalted Reputation and the Server Question
The only online trophy on the list. Companion reputation rank 30 requires roughly 400 Mark of Honor medals, earned one per boss defeated in co-op, with only two available as world drops per playthrough. Verify co-op matchmaking is still populated before recommending this, since the game launched in 2019.
Which Ending to Take First
To Eternity, because it affects subsequent playthroughs least and requires the least setup.
NG+ vs NG+ Enhanced
Plain New Game Plus makes you overwhelmingly powerful, which is what you want for cleanup. NG+ enhanced is harder. Choose plain NG+ unless you want the challenge.
Efficient route
150 Skills and All Vestiges
Learning 150 gifts is a grind and the defaults that come with a Blood Code do not count. Vestiges are restored by taking parts to Io, and some parts only exist in the Depths, so that content is not optional.
All Blood Codes
Including Queen, which is endgame only, so it cannot be completed on an early run.
Not Code Vein 2
The 2026 sequel is a separate PS5 game with a far friendlier list, three automatic endings in one playthrough and nothing missable. Disambiguate and link, since the difference is dramatic.

Guide notes
Code Vein Missable, Glitched, and Difficulty Notes
- Five trophies are technically missable on any given playthrough, the four endings and all blood codes, but all are recoverable if you clean up before committing to New Game Plus.
- All four endings must be earned on the same save file, and PSN cloud saving cannot be used to shortcut them.
- The two Dweller in the Dark variants must be handled together and the difference between them is easy to get wrong, so follow the conditions exactly.
- Defeating the final boss without restoring all Eos Vestiges gives a variation of the good ending rather than the true ending. That is the mechanic the double-ending trick exploits.
- Difficulty does not affect trophies and there are no difficulty-related trophies.
- Exalted Reputation is the only online trophy and the only one with a server dependency. Verify co-op is populated before starting a 73 hour list.
- Some Vestige Parts are only found in the Depths, so that content is required rather than optional.
- The Queen Blood Code is endgame only, so all blood codes cannot be completed on an early run.
Quick answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How many playthroughs do you need to platinum Code Vein?
Three, if you use the route that gets two endings in one run. Restore all four successors but skip the Eos Vestiges before the final boss, then collect them from the pre-boss save and beat it again.
How long does it take to platinum Code Vein?
Around 73 hours. Later runs drop to 4 or 5 hours each once cutscenes are skippable and New Game Plus leaves you overpowered.
Can you use cloud saves for the Code Vein endings?
No. All four endings have to be earned on the same save file and PSN cloud saving cannot be used to shortcut them.
What is the hardest trophy in Code Vein?
Exalted Reputation, which needs companion reputation rank 30 through roughly 400 Mark of Honor medals. It is the only online trophy and takes 10 or more hours of co-op grinding.
Is Code Vein co-op still active?
This needs checking before you start, because one trophy depends on it entirely. Medals come one per co-op boss kill and only two drop per playthrough from the world.
Should you pick New Game Plus or NG+ enhanced in Code Vein?
Plain New Game Plus. It leaves you massively overpowered, which is what you want for trophy cleanup. NG+ enhanced is the harder option.
Does difficulty affect trophies in Code Vein?
No. There are no difficulty-related trophies at all, so play however you find comfortable.
Is Code Vein 2 the same trophy list?
No, and it is far friendlier. Code Vein 2 is a separate PS5 game where the three endings unlock automatically in one playthrough and nothing is missable.
