Efficient route

Astro Bot Trophy Guide and Platinum Roadmap

Follow these phases in order to protect the missable work and keep cleanup efficient for Astro Bot.

1

Phase 1: Play all 80 levels

Work through the game, completing all 80 levels. Explore thoroughly as you go, since Bots and Puzzle Pieces are often hidden off the main path.

Nothing is missable, so do not stress about perfect first passes.

2

Phase 2: Collectible sweep

Replay levels to finish all 300 Bots, 120 Puzzle Pieces and the 10 Lost Galaxies (secret exits), following a level-by-level checklist.

Bank coins while you sweep, since you will need 15,000 in total.

3

Phase 3: Gatcha and the coin grind

Buy 150 of the 169 gatcha items at 100 coins each. If you are short, replay the most coin-rich levels rather than grinding aimlessly.

4

Phase 4: Challenge levels and platinum

Clear the challenge levels, leaving the Great Master Challenge for last. Astro-nomical! unlocks with the final trophy. The free DLC stages are separate lists if you want full completion.

Guide notes

The Completion Checklist

The platinum route covers 80 levels, 300 Bots, 120 Puzzle Pieces, 10 Lost Galaxies and 150 of the 169 gatcha items. Track each total during the story to keep the final cleanup short.

  • The 10 Lost Galaxies are secret level exits and easy to overlook entirely, so use a checklist.

Guide notes

Does Difficulty Affect Trophies

No. There are no difficulty settings, so nobody needs to replay on a harder mode.

  • No difficulty settings exist, so no trophy requires a harder playthrough.

Guide notes

The Coin Grind

150 gatcha items at 100 coins each means 15,000 coins, which usually requires replaying levels.

  • The 15,000 coin requirement for 150 gatcha items is the most commonly underestimated part of the platinum. Farm coins while you sweep collectibles.

Efficient route

The Challenge Levels

The Great Master Challenge is the final skill check. Splashing Sprint and the rhythm challenge are the other common sticking points, so practise their hazards in short sections instead of rushing a full clear.

  • The Great Master Challenge is the hardest trophy and is best left until you are comfortable with the movement. Splashing Sprint and the rhythm challenge are the other common sticking points.
1

The Great Master Challenge

Leave this final challenge until normal movement and timing feel automatic. Practise the segment that ends the run rather than trying to recover speed through every earlier obstacle.

2

Splashing Sprint

Use controlled inputs through the hazard sequence and prioritise a repeatable safe line. A clean route is more reliable than reacting to each obstacle late.

3

The rhythm challenge

Follow the repeated visual and audio pattern, then pause briefly after a failed attempt to identify the missed beat. Short focused practice is more effective than rushing consecutive full runs.

Guide notes

Lost Galaxies and Secret Exits

The 10 Lost Galaxies are hidden behind secret exits rather than normal level completion. Check the level counter after each discovery so a missed exit does not become part of the final sweep.

  • The 10 Lost Galaxies are secret level exits and easy to overlook entirely, so use a checklist.

Guide notes

Bots and Puzzle Pieces

Clear each level's Bot and Puzzle Piece counters before moving to the final challenges. Recheck side paths, breakable scenery and camera-hidden ledges when a collectible is missing.

Guide notes

Free DLC Stages

The free DLC stages use separate trophy lists and are not required for the base-game platinum. Complete them after the main list if you want the full profile percentage.

  • The free DLC stages have their own separate trophy lists and are not needed for the platinum.

Efficient route

Astro Bot Platinum Strategy

Use these checkpoints alongside the roadmap to keep the Astro Bot trophy route on schedule and protect the high-risk requirements.

1

Use the level counters as a completion tracker

The base platinum covers 80 levels, 300 Bots, 120 Puzzle Pieces, 10 Lost Galaxies, and 150 of the 169 gatcha items. Clear each level's Bot and Puzzle Piece counters while the route is fresh. Side paths, breakable scenery, and ledges hidden by the camera are the usual sources of a missing collectible, so rotate the view before leaving an apparently empty area.

The hub remains available and every level can be replayed, which means nothing is permanently missable. Even so, leaving every counter for the post-story sweep creates unnecessary loading and repeated platforming. Finish obvious collectibles on the first visit, then reserve deliberate cleanup for secret exits and challenge levels that require their own focused attempts.

2

Combine the coin grind with collectible cleanup

Buying 150 gatcha items at 100 coins each requires 15,000 coins. Normal progression does not always provide that total, so collect coin trails while revisiting levels for Bots, Puzzle Pieces, and secret exits. A cleanup run that only grabs one missing Bot wastes the same loading time that could also advance the gatcha requirement.

Do not spend time trying to buy all 169 items for the platinum. Stop once 150 have registered unless the profile is also targeting complete DLC and collection progress. Check the gatcha count after each purchase batch, then return to the most reliable coin routes until the trophy unlocks.

3

Save the challenge levels for focused attempts

The Great Master Challenge is the final skill wall, while Splashing Sprint and the rhythm challenge are the other common sticking points. Practise the hazard that ends the run instead of rushing to recover lost time. Clean movement through the first half creates more useful attempts at the difficult final sequence.

There are no difficulty settings and no trophy requires a harder mode. The free DLC stages use separate trophy lists and are not part of the base platinum. Finish the main 44-trophy list first, then move into DLC if the goal is a complete profile percentage rather than only the platinum.

4

Finish from the counters, not from memory

Before the Great Master Challenge, verify 300 Bots, 120 Puzzle Pieces, all 10 Lost Galaxies, and the gatcha progress toward 150 items. A complete level icon is more reliable than remembering a route, especially after secret exits move the player away from the normal finish. Once the counters are clean, the remaining work is limited to challenge execution and any coin total still needed for the gatcha purchases.
