Apex Legends Trophy Guide Quick Info
The 100% is mechanically straightforward, but Battle Royale wins and character-specific damage make it time-dependent. Within our PlayStation trophy guides, Apex Legends is unusual because the finish line is a small online list rather than a platinum.
Does Apex Legends Have a Platinum Trophy?
No. Apex Legends has 12 trophies made up of nine Bronze, two Silver, and one Gold, with no platinum attached to the list. Your final goal is therefore 100% completion, not a platinum unlock.
The PS4 and PS5 versions each have a separate 12-trophy list. The current class trophies are Apex Assault, Apex Controller, Apex Support, and Apex Recon. Older guides may still call the first two Apex Offense and Apex Defense, but the unlock conditions now follow the Assault and Controller class labels.
Apex Legends 100% Completion Roadmap
Phase 1: Learn Battle Royale and Clear the Natural Trophies
Start in standard Battle Royale with Fill Squad enabled. During your early matches, allow the natural action and equipment trophies to come first. Stay as Jumpmaster five times, respawn a teammate at a beacon, become Kill Leader, equip two legendary equipment items together, and pick up a fully kitted gold weapon.
Keep a simple list of the Legends you use. The most efficient route uses the same eight Legends for both Apex Legend and Well-Rounded, so every early win and point of damage contributes to the two longest trophies.
Do not force risky loot routes every match. Decked Out and Fully Kitted depend partly on item spawns, and teammates can temporarily drop qualifying gold equipment or a gold weapon for you to equip.
Phase 2: Earn the Four Class Wins and Win With 8 Legends
Win at least one standard Battle Royale match with an Assault, Controller, Support, and Recon Legend. Straightforward choices include Bangalore for Assault, Bloodhound for Recon, Lifeline or Gibraltar for Support, and Caustic or Catalyst for Controller. If no Controller is available on your account, save earned Legend Tokens for one.
There is no trophy for winning as a Skirmisher, although Skirmisher Legends can still count toward Apex Legend. Rotate to a new Legend immediately after each first-place finish and record the win. Once eight different Legends have won, the Gold trophy should unlock.
Survival is more valuable than unnecessary fights during this phase. Loot quickly, rotate before the ring forces you to move, and take the strongest available position for the final squads. A coordinated trio makes these wins much more consistent.
Phase 3: Finish 5,000 Damage on 8 Legends and Reach Level 50
Continue using the same eight winning Legends until each has at least 5,000 damage. This is 5,000 per Legend, not 5,000 combined, so Well-Rounded requires a minimum of 40,000 tracked damage across the roster.
Check each Legend's banner trackers to avoid wasting matches on a character who is already finished. Standard Battle Royale is the safest mode for trophy tracking because rotating modes and limited-time playlists do not always record the required wins or stats in the same way.
You should approach level 50 naturally while completing the win and damage work. If The Player does not unlock when the account reaches level 50, finish another complete match, return to the lobby, restart the game, and let PlayStation Network resync the trophy data.

Missable Trophies in Apex Legends
There are no missable trophies. Progress is tied to your online account, and a seasonal reset does not erase player level, lifetime Legend damage, or completed trophy conditions.
Live-service updates can rename classes, move Legends between classes, or change available playlists. They do not create a point of no return. If a win does not register, repeat it in standard Battle Royale with a Legend that currently appears under the required class tab.
Online Trophy Notes
Apex Legends is online-only, but PlayStation Plus is not required because the game is free to play. A stable connection is still important because every trophy depends on server-side match data.
Leave cross-play enabled unless connection quality becomes a problem. A regular squad improves communication, loot sharing, respawns, and endgame positioning. A premade squad also adds a small survival-time XP bonus toward The Player. The Overwatch 2 trophy guide also rewards coordinated hero play, but Apex places far more weight on winning the entire match.
PS4 and PS5 use separate trophy lists. Some server-tracked progress can trigger after playing a match on the other version, but you should not expect a complete automatic unlock. Action trophies and class-specific wins may need to be repeated.
General Tips for 100% Completion
Track the Same 8 Legends From the Start
Use one checklist with columns for first win, class, and current damage. This prevents duplicate work and keeps Apex Legend aligned with Well-Rounded. Include one Assault, one Controller, one Support, and one Recon among the eight.
Play for Placement When Chasing Wins
Avoid taking every early fight. Land near useful loot rather than directly on the busiest point, stay close enough to trade damage with teammates, and rotate before the ring closes. High ground and cover matter more than an extra attachment when only a few squads remain.
The Rainbow Six Siege trophy guide rewards controlled team fights in short rounds. Apex uses the same communication principles across a much longer survival match.
Treat Kill Leader as a Separate Aggressive Attempt
Kill Leader is easier near the start of a match because the current leading total is still low. Choose a busy but manageable landing area, secure weapons quickly, and finish nearby fights with your squad. The trophy unlocks when the game announces you as Kill Leader, even if another player takes the title later.
Share Legendary Loot With the Squad
For Decked Out, hold two gold equipment items at the same time. For Fully Kitted, briefly equip a gold weapon. A teammate can drop the required items, you can equip them for the unlock, and then return them.
Use Repeatable Settings and Clear Communication
Keep a sensitivity you can control during close-range tracking rather than copying an extreme competitive setup. Enable squad fill, use pings consistently, and keep voice communication available for final-ring decisions. Reliable habits matter more than changing settings after every poor match.
Hardest Trophies and How to Get Them
Apex Legend
This is the hardest trophy because it requires eight separate first-place finishes with eight different Legends. Use standard Battle Royale, record every qualifying Legend, and combine the four class wins with the first four entries on your list. For the remaining four, choose Legends whose movement or defensive tools fit your normal playstyle.
Give each Legend enough matches to understand their escape tool, ultimate timing, and preferred range before moving on after the win.
Well-Rounded
Well-Rounded is a grind rather than a skill wall. Focus on one Legend until the banner tracker reaches 5,000 damage, then mark that Legend complete. Mid-range weapons help you deal repeatable damage without committing to every close-range push, while surviving longer creates more fights per match.
Damage must reach 5,000 on each of eight Legends. A total above 40,000 does not help if one character remains below the individual threshold.
Apex Controller
Controller can become the slowest class trophy if your starting roster does not include one. Unlock a Controller with earned currency, then use ring information and area-control abilities to prepare strong late-game positions. You only need one victory with any current Controller Legend.
The Player
Level 50 normally arrives during the other grinds. Stay until your squad's match is fully resolved so the game can award and synchronize XP. If the trophy is delayed, complete another match and restart before treating it as a permanent problem.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Apex Legends have a platinum trophy?
No. Apex Legends has 12 trophies and no platinum, so 100% completion is the final target.
How long does it take to 100% Apex Legends?
Expect around 30-60 hours from fresh progress, with your eight Battle Royale wins and 40,000 minimum character-specific damage causing most of the variation.
How hard is it to 100% Apex Legends?
It is about 2/10 mechanically. The list is simple, but players who struggle to win Battle Royale matches may need more time.
Are there missable trophies in Apex Legends?
No. Every trophy can be attempted again in later matches.
What is the hardest trophy in Apex Legends?
Apex Legend is usually the hardest because you must place first with eight different Legends.
Are there glitched trophies in Apex Legends?
The Player has a history of delayed unlocks at level 50. Another completed match, a game restart, and a trophy sync usually give the server time to register it.
Do Mixtape wins count for Apex Legends trophies?
Use standard Battle Royale for the class wins and Apex Legend. Mixtape and rotating event modes do not consistently satisfy the original Battle Royale trophy tracking.
Do you need PlayStation Plus for Apex Legends trophies?
No. Apex Legends is free to play, so its online multiplayer does not require PlayStation Plus.
Can you boost Apex Legends trophies?
A coordinated squad makes wins, respawns, loot sharing, and damage farming more efficient, but each condition still has to register on your own account in an eligible online match.
The Fortnite trophy guide covers another online-only completion with no traditional campaign route, while Apex Legends keeps its base list to 12 focused requirements. DamnModz also offers PlayStation trophy services for account-specific online cleanup.
