What The Starter Save Changes
Grounded keeps two survival meters running. Let food or water run dry and your health starts to drop, so the early game is a loop of cooking aphid meat and cutting grass for dewdrops. This save starts with both bars full. The things in your inventory are stacked to 100 wherever the game allows it, so the first trips out of base aren't spent gathering basics.
The timing matters too. The save begins just after you reach the first lab, the one built inside the oak tree. The Mysterious Machine tutorial is done, and the rest of the yard is ahead of you.
Where The Story Goes From The Oak Lab
From there the labs lead the way. The Hedge Lab hides its door code in four scraps of paper, and the Pond Lab means swimming with a Gill Tube and Fin Flops. Later, the lab under the shed holds the Mant, one of the big story bosses. Finding Wendell Tully after it sets up the finale, a wave defence at the JavaMatic while the Embiggening Cocktail brews.
Five optional bosses wait on the side. The Broodmother lives in the Hedge, the Mantis in the flowerpot on the shed deck and the Wasp Queen in the Brawny Boy bin. Director Schmector sits under Castle Moldorc, and the Infected Broodmother lurks in the Haze, where you have to kill her three times.
What Super Win Really Asks
Trophy guides call Super Win the biggest roadblock on the list. It wants 100% on the Report Card when you grow big again. That means all five optional bosses, every Science Shop item, every Creature Card, all eight MIX.R defences, every data item, Milk Molar, SCA.B scheme and landmark, plus max Brainpower.
Get it before you touch the REMIX.R. A remixed yard expands the Science Shop, and the guides warn that this multiplies the grind several times over.
The Remixed Run And The Rest Of The List
The REMIX.R opens once the Broodmother, the Mantis and the Wasp Queen are dead and the JavaMatic fight is won. It sends you into a remixed yard with tougher bosses and bugs infused with Raw Science. Did I Do That? pops when you turn it on, and Go Big Again when you finish that run, which is why guides count two playthroughs and about 60 hours.
The smaller trophies bite too. Gotta Peep Them All needs every Creature Card, and bosses such as Director Schmector have to be peeped before you kill them. Royal Arrangements wants all three Ant Queens dealt with, and BURG.L's list runs to 100 quests. From Downtown asks for a basket from over 40 cm away, and Aim Small wants a flying bug shot from over 30 cm, a trophy guides mark as buggy.
Solo, Co-op And Game Modes
Grounded plays solo or with up to four players. Trophy guides flag nothing on the list as online-only, so the whole platinum can be done alone. The mode does matter. Creative and Custom games switch most trophies off, so play a Survival game on any of its three difficulty presets.
