GTA 6 crossplay is one of the easiest things to get wrong right now. Players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC want one simple answer, but the official information is narrower than a lot of search results make it sound.

This matters if you are deciding where to buy the game, whether to wait for PC, or whether friends on another system will be able to join you. The key is separating confirmed platform listings from unconfirmed crossplay claims.

The current official Xbox store page says GTA 6 will Play with Xbox Series X|S. That confirms the Xbox Series X|S listing. It also does not confirm crossplay by itself.

GTA 6 Store Labels

The current PlayStation listing includes the standard ESRB notice about online interactions. That is not the same thing as a crossplay feature label. It only tells you the product can include online interactions.
