ARC Raiders A Dead End: MANTIKOR Battery Puzzle and Dusty Film Reel

A Dead End requires Blue Gate access, a loadout with a safe pocket, and enough gear to survive the MANTIKOR underground and extract with the Dusty Film Reel.

• Do not use a free loadout if it leaves you without a safe pocket.
• Plan to finish every objective and extract in the same raid.
• Bring a fighting loadout for tight underground corridors where disengaging is difficult.

The most useful surface cue is the MANTIKOR access network around Reinforced Reception, Checkpoint, the Traffic Tunnel, and the Data Vault. These routes feed into the same broader underground area.

1. Approach a known underground access point. Reinforced Reception and Checkpoint are practical surface landmarks.
2. Look for the blue MANTIKOR logo. Use it as confirmation that you are entering the correct facility.
3. Descend by zipline or stairs. Follow the underground route toward the Security Wing.
4. Stay alert in the corridors. The area is a common PvP choke point.

If you already know the Blue Gate underground from Reduced to Rubble or The Clean Dream, use those familiar routes to orient yourself.

Open the capacitor door by moving three batteries from the Security Wing to the locked door one at a time.

1. Find the battery staging area. Search the Security Wing for the battery packs near the small terminal and machinery.
2. Carry the first battery to the capacitor door. Insert it into the available socket.
3. Repeat for the second and third batteries. The carry is one battery at a time, so expect three trips.
4. Enter when the door opens. The Red Room is behind the powered door.

You can solve this puzzle even without A Dead End active. The Red Room remains useful as a loot stop because it contains crates, drawers, and a Weapon Crate.

The Red Room contains the recording objective, the Dusty Film Reel, and extra loot. Use the four-screen setup as your orientation point.

1. Face the four screens. Use the central display wall to establish left and right.
2. Trigger the recording on the right side. Interact with the computer or machine beside the screens.
3. Collect the reel from the left side. Use the smaller film-bank machine or shelf near the main display.
4. Safe pocket the Dusty Film Reel. Protect it before looting the rest of the room.

You must leave the raid with the Dusty Film Reel for A Dead End to count, so extraction is part of the quest rather than an optional finish.

1. Protect the reel. Put it in your safe pocket as soon as it is collected.
2. Choose a clean route out. Avoid lingering in the Security Wing after the objective is complete.
3. Extract successfully. A failed extraction means repeating the underground route and puzzle in another raid.

Allow roughly a full raid window for the surface travel, underground route, puzzle, and extraction rather than treating the five-minute interior sequence as the whole quest.

Groundbreaking also awards a Warden colour variant, so the two quests provide different cosmetic rewards in the same broader set.
