Level 87, With Every Choice Still Yours
Each level in Skyrim gives you one perk point and one choice: +10 Health, Magicka or Stamina. This save banks them. Your Nord sits at level 87, and you click through the level-ups yourself, picking the attribute each time. With 86 perk points on top, you can build a heavy-armor two-hander, a conjurer or a stealth archer from the first hour without grinding a single skill.
Nords start with a bonus to several martial skills and a battle cry that sends enemies running. That suits the Daedric plate in your pack, though nothing stops you from turning the same character into a mage.
Daedric Plate, Dragon Priest Masks And Artifacts
Daedric weapons and armor are the best standard gear in the base game. Forging them takes the Daedric Smithing perk at Smithing 90 and a Daedra Heart for every piece, and the hearts are the hard part. Konahrik is the golden Dragon Priest mask you normally earn by bringing every other base-game mask to Bromjunaar Sanctuary. The save holds it alongside the other nine.
The artifacts each have a trick. Dawnbreaker, Meridia's sword, burns on every hit and can set off a blast that turns nearby undead. Spellbreaker raises a ward against spells whenever you block. Windshear, the scimitar wedged in the Katariah's bowsprit, staggers whatever it hits, and in a normal run you can only reach it during Hail Sithis.
The jewellery is just as specific. The Ring of Hircine gives werewolves extra transformations, and the Ring of Namira adds 50 Stamina and lets you feed on corpses for a Health boost. The Shield of Ysgramor adds Resist Magic and Health. The Amulet of Articulation makes nearly every persuasion check pass, and the Necromancer Amulet trades slower Health and Stamina regeneration for 50 Magicka and cheaper Conjuration.
Special Edition, Anniversary Edition And The PS5 List
On PS4 you play Special Edition, the 2016 remaster that bundles all three add-ons. Anniversary Edition, from November 2021, is Special Edition plus 74 Creation Club Creations, fishing among them. Owners of either edition on PS5 get a free update with better graphics and faster loading.
The PS5 version keeps its own trophy list, apart from the PS4 one. Both hold 76 trophies, so choose the console you play on when you order the platinum. What The Platinum Asks Of You
Trophy guides put the base list alone at 100+ hours. No trophy depends on difficulty. The slowest is Master, which wants character level 50. Skill Master wants one skill at 100, Thu'um Master 20 shouts, Golden Touch 100,000 in gold at once, Delver 50 cleared dungeons and Explorer 100 discovered locations.
Every faction questline ends in a trophy: the Companions, the College of Winterhold, the Thieves Guild, the Dark Brotherhood and the civil war. Master Criminal needs a 1,000-gold bounty in all nine holds. Oblivion Walker asks for 15 Daedric artifacts and is the one to watch, because some Daedric quests can end without the artifact.
The add-ons stack more on top. Legend wants a Legendary Dragon dead, and those only appear from around level 78. Werewolf Mastered and Vampire Mastered want 11 perks in each beast tree. Dragonborn adds the secrets of 5 Black Books and five dragons tamed and ridden, and Hearthfire wants three houses built and a child adopted.
