Fallout 4 is a scavenger's game. Settlements eat steel, wood and adhesive by the thousand, weapon mods want rarer parts, and Power Armor runs dry without fusion cores. The platinum adds a different headache: four factions that end up at war, with trophies for each of them, so one careless choice can lock a questline. The save is $50 for PS4 or PS5. You start inside Vault 111 at level 420 with 255 unspent perk points and 100,000,000+ caps. The stash has one of every weapon and every legendary weapon, and a suit of Power Armor waits in the vault. Supplies run to 999 of each ammo type and medical supply and 37,000 of each junk type. Every key, apparel piece, armor type and miscellaneous item is there too, and every marker is already on the map.

A Level 420 Sole Survivor Who Hasn't Left Home
The save stops before you step outside Vault 111, so you set up your character and spend points before the elevator ride up. Every level in Fallout 4 gives one perk point, and the same point can buy a perk rank or a rank in a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat. Higher perk ranks also carry level requirements, and none of them asks for more than level 50.
At level 420 every requirement on the chart is already met. The 255 points then go a long way: maxing every perk and all seven S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats takes a character to about level 286. Locksmith, Hacker, Gun Nut, Science and Local Leader can all be in place before Codsworth says hello.
Nothing in the story has happened yet. Shaun is still missing, Sanctuary is still empty, and the main quest, every side quest and the add-ons are all ahead of you.
Caps, Cores And Junk
Bottle caps are the Commonwealth's money, and 100 million of them buy out every trader from Diamond City to Goodneighbor. Fusion cores count as ammunition in Fallout 4, so 999 of each ammo type means 999 cores. That keeps the Power Armor from the vault running for a very long time, and the Fat Man stocked with mini nukes.
Junk is the crafting economy. Anything you loot breaks down into raw materials, and those materials build settlements, turrets and the 700-plus weapon modifications the game offers. With 37,000 of each type, Sanctuary can become a fortress on day one. With 999 Stimpaks and 999 RadAway, even the Glowing Sea is far less of a threat.
PS4 Or PS5: Two Lists Since 2024
The April 2024 update turned Fallout 4 into a native PS5 game, and that version came with its own trophy list. The two lists match: 85 trophies each, with the same six add-on groups, and a separate platinum on each. Choose PS4 or PS5 on the trophy form, and pick the same console on the save page.
The Faction Trap And The Other 84
Trophy guides rate the base platinum 3-4 out of 10 and estimate 50-75 hours. No trophy depends on difficulty. The faction trophies are the real problem. Old Guns belongs to the Minutemen, Ad Victoriam to the Brotherhood of Steel, Rockets' Red Glare to the Railroad and Nuclear Family to the Institute. Push one faction far enough and another turns hostile, so guides plan around a separate save after Mankind Redefined and a reload later.
The open-world trophies are slower than they look. Benevolent Leader wants a settlement at 100 happiness, and the meter climbs slowly with play time. They're Action Figures asks for all 20 Vault-Tec Bobbleheads. Mercenary wants 50 miscellaneous objectives, usually farmed with Vertibird signal grenades from Proctor Teagan on the Prydwen. The Harder They Fall wants five Behemoths or Mirelurk Queens, and you need the final shot on each.
The platinum itself only needs the 50 base-game trophies, but our listing covers all 84. That includes Nuka-World's Eyes on the Prize, which means redeeming 100,000 tickets at the Nuka-Cade, plus Hostile Takeover, every Far Harbor trophy and the three Wasteland Workshop trophies built around cages and tamed creatures.
