No. The save sits inside Vault 111 before you leave. The main quest, the side quests and the add-ons are all untouched.

Are the add-on legendary weapons in it?

Every legendary weapon is in the save. The add-on ones appear if you own that add-on, and the base-game set is there regardless.

What can 255 perk points buy?

A lot. Each point buys a perk rank or a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. point, and at level 420 no perk is held back by a level requirement.

PS4 or PS5?
