Resident Evil Village runs on Lei. The Duke sells Ethan his guns, his upgrades and his crafting recipes, and fully upgrading the S.T.A.K.E. magnum costs 2,103,000 Lei on its own. That matters, because a gun has to be fully upgraded before the Extra Content Shop will sell you its infinite ammo. The platinum then wants Village of Shadows, a three-hour run, a knife-only run and S ranks across The Mercenaries. What Max Lei Does At The Duke's Emporium
The Duke is the only shop in the village. He sells weapons, ammo, health items, inventory space, weapon upgrades and crafting recipes. He also buys the treasures you find, and his kitchen turns the meat and fish you bring him into dishes that raise Ethan's max health and running speed. Lei normally comes from enemies, from the floor and from selling treasure, so a first run never has enough for all of it.
With max Lei, you buy whatever you want, whenever you meet him. The S.T.A.K.E. is the obvious target: 600,000 Lei for the gun and its two parts, then 1,503,000 for every upgrade. Fully upgrading a gun also unlocks its infinite ammo in the Extra Content Shop, which opens after the first clear. That ammo is paid for in CP from challenges, around 120,000 for the S.T.A.K.E., so the Lei gets you to the counter and your challenges pay the bill.
Gunpowder And Herbs On The Crafting Menu
Gunpowder is the base of most ammo in Village. Two Gunpowder and two Rusted Scrap make 15 handgun rounds, and the same powder goes into shotgun shells, sniper rifle rounds, magnum rounds, pipe bombs and explosive rounds. A Herb with a Chem Fluid becomes a First Aid Med. With both at max and the handgun ammo already stacked, the crafting menu stops being a budget.
Where The 57 Trophies Bite
Trophy guides estimate 20-25 hours over at least three playthroughs. There is no chapter select, so anything you miss means reloading one of your 20 manual saves or starting again. The three golds in the base game are Universe's Best Dad for Village of Shadows, Don't Trust That Snake Oil for four or fewer recovery items, and Knives Out for a close-combat-only story. The good news: infinite ammo does not void trophies, and Village of Shadows can be cleared on a later run with your unlocks.
The silvers ask for a story under three hours (Dashing Dad) and one with no more than 10,000 Lei spent (Frugal Father). Doll Collector and Art Collector want every model and every piece of concept art from the shop. Then there is Legendary Cowboy, an S rank on every stage of The Mercenaries, which guides call the hardest trophy on the list. Heretic adds all 20 Goats of Warding, and Bookworm wants every file read.
Shadows Of Rose And The Two Lists
