Resident Evil 3 is a short game that the platinum makes you finish three or four times. Nemesis hunts Jill through Raccoon City on every run. Nightmare and Inferno switch off autosaves, toughen the enemies and move the items around. The hardest trophies then want an S rank on Inferno inside two hours, with only a few manual saves allowed. Why The Save Is Built Around Inferno

Inferno is the top difficulty, and you only reach it by clearing Hardcore and then Nightmare. There are no autosaves, enemies soak up more damage, some encounters change and the item placements are rearranged. An S rank on it is judged on two numbers: your play time and how many times you saved. Shop items and infinite weapons do not count against the rank.

That is why the save counter comes reset. Three other run counters stay low, one for each challenge trophy. Item box use matters for Minimalist, recovery items for the trophy that allows one heal at most, and play time for Sprinter. The run is still yours to play, and the S rank still needs a finish inside two hours.

What Max Points Buy In The Shop

The Shop opens on the main menu after your first clear. It runs on points from Records, the game's list of challenges, and with points maxed you can buy everything in it. The infinite MUP handgun, the RAI-DEN, the infinite CQBR assault rifle and the infinite Rocket Launcher never run dry.

The coins change how Jill survives. The Recovery Coin regenerates health, the Iron Defense Coin raises defense and the Assault Coin raises damage. Hip Pouches add inventory space, the S.T.A.R.S. Field Combat Manual makes dodging easier, and the Crafting Companion turns each batch of gunpowder into more ammo.

Supply Cases And The Rest Of The Kit

In certain fights, Nemesis drops to one knee and leaves a Supply Case behind. Each one holds weapon parts and ammo, and the save has every case added already. Next to them sit a spread of weapons and attachments, maxed ammo of every type and one of each health item. Max inventory slots mean you carry all of it without juggling the item box.

Charlie Dolls, Locks And Four Hard Golds

Trophy guides put the platinum at around 25 hours, over at least three runs on Hardcore, Nightmare and Inferno. Apart from the automatic story trophies, anything you miss means another run. One trophy wants all 20 Charlie dolls destroyed. RE: Master of Unlocking wants every safe, locker, strongbox and pickable lock opened. Bookworm asks for every story file, Kendo's Armory for every weapon in the campaign, and Electric Slide for all the warehouse fuses inside five minutes.

The four golds are the heavy ones. Dominator is an Inferno clear and Jill Valentine is an S rank on Inferno. The other two go to any S rank and to Sprinter, a finish in under two hours of play time.

PS4 List, PS5 List And Resistance
