What God Mode And Infinite Heroics Do In A Fight
Every hero carries three Heroic abilities: a Support, an Assault and an Ultimate. Normally they run on Heroic energy and charges, so you fire one and wait. With infinite Heroics the wait is gone. Ms. Marvel can keep throwing High Five, and you can save the Ultimate for whatever looks dangerous.
God Mode keeps your hero standing whatever A.I.M. throws at you, and one-shot kills end each fight on the first hit. Super speed and jump cover the other slow part: crossing the big open zones between objectives, crates and strongboxes. Together they turn a Hive run or a Villain Sector into a quick lap.
The Grind Behind Omega Level Accomplishment
Trophy guides estimate 80 to 100 hours in a single playthrough, and very little of it is the story. The story trophies run from Golden Ticket's VIP balcony through recruiting Bruce Banner, Tony Stark and Black Widow, rescuing Captain America and the gold for beating MODOK and the Kree. The guides then send you to the Kate Bishop operation, Taking A.I.M., before the long haul starts.
On the Mountaintop, the other gold, wants Power Level 150 on any hero. Power is the average level of your equipped gear, and artifacts add to it. Back in Business wants 250 Hero Levels across the roster. To the Dark and Back Again wants 50 Hive missions, and Truly Elite wants an Elite Heroic Hive. Holding It Down asks for 30 War Zones at Challenge III or higher. Old Fashioned Beat Down asks for HARM Challenges I to V. Treasure Trove, 50 Cache strongboxes, belongs to about 1% of players or fewer.
Patches, Delisting And Buggy Trophies
Marvel's Avengers changed a lot over its life. Between Patch 2.0 and Patch 2.5.1, a change to gear upgrades made Investing in the Future impossible, so the platinum was blocked for that stretch. It works again on the later versions. Trophy guides still flag several trophies as buggy, including Treasure Trove, Savior of the People and Tentative Peace.
Crystal Dynamics released its last content update on 31 March 2023 and ended support on 30 September 2023, the day the game left digital stores. The studio said single-player and multiplayer content would stay accessible after that, but that it could not fix technical issues from then on.
