Marvel's Spider-Man pays you in tokens. Every suit, suit mod and gadget upgrade has a token price, and there are six kinds, earned from backpacks, street crimes, enemy bases, Taskmaster challenges, landmark photos and research stations. Then the platinum asks for 100% of all nine districts. Our Marvel's Spider-Man starter save takes care of the levels and two of those token types. The Marvel's Spider-Man Platinum Trophy service covers either trophy list.
The save costs $50 and comes with max XP, max skill points, 999 Backpack Tokens and 999 Crime Tokens. Choose PS4 or PS5 in the Platform menu. For the platinum, you pick between the original PS4 list and the Remastered list on PS5.

What 999 Tokens And Max XP Actually Buy
Suit prices show how the economy works. Repairing the Classic Suit costs 2 Backpack and 2 Crime Tokens. The Last Stand Suit costs 20 Crime Tokens on its own, and buying every suit in the shop takes 60 Crime Tokens in total. Crimes only pay out when they spawn around you as you swing through a district, and the Backpack Tokens sit in 55 old backpacks hidden across the city.
With 999 of each, those two parts of every price tag are covered. Base, Challenge, Landmark and Research Tokens still come from play, so you still clear bases and Taskmaster's challenges for those.
Max XP and max skill points cover the other half. The level cap is 50, and the 33 skills normally take that whole climb to afford. With the points already banked, you buy Perfect Dodge in the Defender tree or Air Tricks in the Webslinger tree when you want them, not when the XP arrives.
PS4 List Or Remastered List
Marvel's Spider-Man has two trophy lists. The 2018 list belongs to the PS4 version, and it's the list you earn on a PS4 or when you play that version on a PS5. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is a separate PS5 release with its own list. It first came with the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition in November 2020 and has been sold on its own since 4 May 2023.
Both lists carry the same base game, the three DLC episodes and the two trophies from the update that added Ultimate difficulty. Remastered adds five silvers on top: a 100-hit combo, every gadget maxed, an Ultimate rating in a Taskmaster challenge, a maxed Benchmark type and an enemy base cleared without taking damage. That's why the PS4 list has 74 trophies and Remastered has 79. Pick the platform that matches your copy when you order. The price doesn't change.
Where The Platinum Hours Go
Trophy guides rate the base platinum 2.5 to 3 out of 10 and put it near 25 hours: 8-10 for the story and the rest for side content. Nothing is missable, difficulty doesn't matter, and the city stays open after the credits. The work is in a few trophies:
- I Heart Manhattan: 100% of all nine districts, which means 358 collectibles and activities across 15 types, 165 street crimes among them.
- Schooled: five missing students, found from a photo of where they are and no map marker.
- Master of Masters: Taskmaster only shows up after all 16 of his challenges are cleared.
- A Suit For All Seasons: 23 of the 27 suits bought. Spend Challenge or Base Tokens on gadget upgrades too early and you can end up replaying challenges and bases to earn them back.
- A Bit of a Fixer-Upper: all 20 lab projects at Octavius Industries, ten spectrograph puzzles and ten circuits.
The City That Never Sleeps And The Hard Extras
The three episodes bring back Black Cat, send Hammerhead after the Maggia crime families and return Silver Sable to reclaim her stolen tech. Each one has a 100% completion gold and its own Screwball challenges. The Screwball trophies want Spectacular or better in every challenge of an episode, and fewer than 5% of PS4 players hold each one. Power and Responsibility asks for a full run on Ultimate difficulty. One More Time asks you to finish the story a second time with your suits and gadgets carried over.
None of that is needed for the platinum, which only asks for the base game. The counts on our listing are the full Remastered list, so the DLC and update trophies are part of the order.
