In Horizon Zero Dawn, Aloy's best gear comes late or costs a lot. The Starter Save: Two Slots Of Endgame Gear
Manual Save 0 holds the loadout. The best weapons in the game are there, The Frozen Wilds weapons included, along with Sylens' Lance. Aloy normally only receives that spear after The Mountain That Fell, and it adds Shock damage to Normal and Tear damage. The best outfits come with it, Frozen Wilds outfits and the Shield-Weaver among them. Normally the Shield-Weaver means tracking down five Power Cells, four of them in main quest areas.
Every weapon and outfit carries modifications boosted to their maximum. Skill points, inventory capacity, ammo and Metal Shards are all maxed. Manual Save 1 is the same file with 999,999 ammo on top, for when you never want to craft another arrow.
The Skills And Collectibles Save
This one finishes the slow parts of a run. The skill menu is complete, from the Prowler and Brave trees to The Frozen Wilds' Traveler tree. Every pouch is upgraded, so Aloy carries more ammo, resources and potions without hunting more animals for skins and bones. You also get every coil and weave plus the upgrade resources. The collectibles are done too: the 30 Metal Flowers, 12 Vantages, 12 Ancient Vessels and 6 Banuk Figures that the Meridian merchants trade for rewards.
What The Platinum Asks For
Trophy guides rate the base platinum 2-3 out of 10 and estimate 40-50 hours, in one playthrough with nothing missable. The hard part is Blazing Suns at all Grounds, the gold for top marks in all 15 timed trials across five Hunting Grounds. Only 8% of Remastered players hold it. All allies joined needs 11 side quests done before the final mission, The Looming Shadow. The rarest base-game trophy is Downed 23 Grazer dummies, at 4.5%, for knocking over every training dummy in the Nora lands.
The rest is a long checklist: all 11 Corrupted Zones, six Bandit Camps, four Cauldrons and six Tallnecks, every machine scanned, level 50 and all 36 base skills.
The Frozen Wilds And The Full 79
The Frozen Wilds adds 21 trophies in the Cut. Aloy takes the Shaman's Path to Ourea, beats Aratak in the Werak challenge and storms Thunder's Drum. Then she hunts Scorchers, Frostclaws and Fireclaws, disables every Control Tower and finds the Pigments and Animal Figurines. Gold times in all three Snowchants trials make All Activities completed one of the rarest trophies here, at 3.6%. Two more ask you to finish a second playthrough, one of them on Ultra Hard.
Only the 56 base-game trophies count toward the platinum. Our listing still counts the whole Remastered list: 65 bronze, 11 silver, 2 gold and the platinum. The 2017 original keeps its own separate list, so this service is for Remastered.
