Legendary Gear, Already Maxed
Legendary weapons and outfits are the yellow top tier. The Arena's Legendary Hunter Bow, Death-Seeker's Shadow, is bought with Arena Medals won one timed fight at a time. Upgrading legendary gear is its own hunt: the workbench sends you after specific machine parts, and a legendary weapon only opens its fourth and fifth coil slots once it's upgraded.
In the save, every legendary weapon and outfit is already at its last upgrade. All coils and weaves are in your inventory to fill those slots, and the upgrade resources are there for anything else you want to build.
Skills, Pouches And The Kratos Face Paint
The skill tree is complete across all six branches, Warrior and Trapper included, so the melee combos the Melee Pits ask for are already learned. Every pouch is upgraded: food, potions, resources, traps and ammo. You also get every face paint, among them the Mark of War, the God of War paint styled on Kratos. In a normal run it takes three hidden God of War totems. Kratos waits at a hut on a snowy mountain. Atreus stands on a bridge you can't reach until the story takes you to San Francisco, and the forge brothers Brok and Sindri lie in the sand of a beach.
PS4 Or PS5: Which Platinum Is Yours
There are two Horizon Forbidden West trophy lists, one per console. The PS4 list is the one you earn on a PS4 or when you play the PS4 version on a PS5. The PS5 version and the Complete Edition earn the PS5 list. Burning Shores is a PS5-only expansion, so its 18 trophies only appear there, which is why the PS5 list has 80 and the PS4 list 62.

Half The Map Is Enough For The Platinum
Guides give the platinum a 3 out of 10 and plan on 30-40 hours. You need roughly half the game, one playthrough, on any difficulty. Beyond the story, the list wants all six Tallnecks and Cauldrons, every Rebel Camp, the four Melee Pits and the Enduring. Add all 12 Hunting Ground trials, one Arena set, two Gauntlet Run wins and two Machine Strike victories. It also wants one of every collectible type, one kill of every machine type that can be killed, and a Focus scan of all 43 machines.
The scans hold the one trap. Specter and Specter Prime show up only in the final quest, Singularity, so guides tell you to scan them there. The rarest trophies on the base list are the Hunting Ground stripes at under 10% of players, then Machine Strike and the Enduring at around 12%.
