Which Deadpool This Is
Deadpool first came out on PS3 in June 2013 and was pulled from digital stores in 2014 with most of Activision's Marvel games. Activision brought it back on PS4 in November 2015, ahead of the film, with the original DLC included. Licensing took it off digital stores again in November 2017. This page covers that PS4 release. The PS3 game has a separate trophy list, which our service does not cover.
What A 100% Save Hands You
Deadpool fights with swords, pistols, giant hammers, plasma guns and pulse rifles, and every one of them has its own upgrade path. Player upgrades, like the dash you can chain five times, only open up after you buy weapon upgrades. All of it costs DP. With the game finished at 100%, every weapon unlocked and money maxed, the shop screen stops being a wall.
The Challenge side is done too. Every level you finish opens a Challenge map, and each one runs bronze, silver and gold in order. Five Gold Challenges are already complete in this save, and those are the toughest arenas Deadpool has. The second playthrough is unlocked, so you can go back through Genosha, the prison and Mister Sinister's lair with the full arsenal.
The Trophies That Hold People Back
Trophy guides rate the platinum 4 out of 10 and put it at about 30 hours in one playthrough, yet under 2% of PS4 players finish it. The two golds explain a lot. Know DP? Know madness wants the story on Ultra-Violence, the hardest setting, where enemies hit harder and Deadpool falls apart faster. So you've got some free time? wants "Landed in Prison" cleared without countering a single attack.
The silvers are a grind of their own. Gold rush wants five Gold Challenges, and Shields up and Cole'd Blooded add counter and combo rules on top. Be like Joe means banking a 300-hit combo. Unbalanced and Drunk on power want every player upgrade and every weapon at max. The level bronzes are small and fiddly: Fish out of water on the Toxic River, a fall-free crossing of the floating debris, and Beer goggles, which gives you 60 seconds to deal with Vertigo.
