Cat Quest III sends a kitten called the Seeker across the Purribean after the North Star, a treasure that grants the wishes of whoever holds it. The Pi-rat King wants it too, and so do Captain Meowtallika's crew and the Spicy Squids. Most of your time between fights goes into gear. Gold, Crystals And XP On A New Run
Cat Quest III hands out gear from chests, quests and bosses, but the gear you find is only half of it. The shops in the main port level up your weapons, armour and spells, and they take gold and magic crystals for every step. A normal run means choosing which sword or wand gets the upgrade this time. With both currencies maxed, everything you pick up can be raised as soon as you get back to port.
Max XP works on the other side of the fight. Cathulhu and the Duck of Doom are high-level optional bosses, normally left for the end. With the XP already banked, you can sail out for them much earlier. The ship still grows the old way, through blueprints and special ammo found at sea.
Why A Starter Save
Nothing in this save is finished for you. The Pi-rat King, Captain Takomeowki and Captain Meowtallika are all still out there, and every chest is still closed. You play the whole story with a rich, levelled Seeker instead of a broke one. Cat Quest III also plays in local co-op with a shared inventory, so a second cat on the couch draws from the same stash.
The 31-Trophy Platinum
This is one of the gentler lists we cover. Trophy guides rate it 3 out of 10 and put it at 8-10 hours in one playthrough, with no missable trophies. The work is clean-up. Treasure Expurrlorer wants 80 treasure chests opened. Purroblem Solver wants all 12 sets of puzzle stones, and Secret Purrlunderer wants every hidden item. Bounty Domiewnator asks for every wanted poster, and Ship Mewster for every ship blueprint.
The four golds are the North Star ending, Armeowry Furshionista for every piece of equipment in the Purribean, and the two optional bosses. Paws Over Tentacles is Cathulhu, the menace of the ocean. Quack Goes the Ducky is the Duck of Doom, a high-level boss that sails all over the map. Side content fills the silvers: the Golden Tower and its four golden keys, the 8-bit dungeon, the Lovepurr Dungeon, and the Kidd Cat, Mage Bonny and Mama Milka questlines.
