Hollow Knight makes you earn everything, even the map. Die, and your Shade keeps every Geo you carried until you fight your way back to it. Charm notches are rare, so most of your build stays in the inventory. The platinum then asks for the Pantheon of Hallownest, the Trial of the Fool and 112% completion. Geo Without The Shade Run

Geo pays for most of Hallownest. Sly sells Mask Shards and Vessel Fragments in Dirtmouth, and Cornifer and his wife sell the maps. Salubra charges 800 Geo for her blessing, and Little Fool wants a fee for each trial at the Colosseum of Fools. With max Geo, the price tag stops being the thing that holds you back.

The death rule still applies: fall, and your Shade holds what you carried. With god mode on, that rarely comes up. One-hit kills drop enemies in a single strike, and infinite jumps get the Knight onto ledges that normally need Monarch Wings.

Every Charm At Once

Charms are the build in Hollow Knight, and you swap them at benches using notches. A normal run makes you choose between a handful. This save unlocks every charm, gives the Knight 40 notches and drops each charm's cost to one, so Quick Slash, Shaman Stone and Mark of Pride can all sit on the same build.

One quirk to know: the charm screen only draws 12 notches. You can still equip more charms than the display shows.

Why Heart Of Hallownest Takes 100 Hours

Trophy guides rate the platinum 9/10 and estimate around 100 hours, mostly depending on how fast you clear the pantheons. It takes one playthrough, and nothing on the PlayStation list is missable. There's no Steel Soul trophy and no speedrun trophy either.

The hard part is Godhome. Embrace the Void means ascending the Pantheon of Hallownest, a back-to-back run through the game's bosses. Soul & Shade wants the Pantheon of the Knight before that. The Trial of the Fool ends with God Tamer after waves of enemies. Nightmare's End closes out the Grimm Troupe's story, either by beating Nightmare King Grimm or by banishing the troupe with Brumm.

Then comes the checklist. Pure Completion wants 112% and the ending. You rescue all 46 grubs, collect 2,400 Essence for the Seer, find every Mask Shard and Vessel Fragment, and fill the Hunter's Journal until the Hunter gives you his mark. The Grey Mourner's flower breaks on a single hit. Mister Mushroom has to be found in seven places with Spore Shroom equipped.

Voidheart Edition Or The PS5 Version

Does the PlayStation list need Steel Soul mode?

No. The PlayStation list has no Steel Soul or speedrun trophy, and nothing on it is missable. The hard ones are the Pantheon of Hallownest, the Trial of the Fool and 112% completion.

How long does the Hollow Knight platinum take?
