What Max Tears And Marks Buy
Tears of Atonement are the currency every enemy drops. Trophy guides estimate a full run banks about 120,000 of them. Emptying all three shops and paying the Confessor for his Remembrance takes at least 140,000 more. With the purse maxed, you buy Rosary Beads, Figures and Rosary Knots the moment a shop puts them out.
Marks of Martyrdom are the scarce resource. They pay for Weapon Memories, the skill tree behind each weapon, although the deeper columns still wait until you find that weapon's upgrade. The artisan in the City of the Blessed Name also takes Marks to open the Altarpiece of Favours, where six extra figure slots cost 25 Marks between them. Normally they trickle in from levels, bosses and hidden corners. Here you spend them as fast as the game lets you.
Guilt Set To Immaculatus
Each death leaves a Guilt Fragment where you fell and raises your Guilt. Roots creep over the Fervour bar, the meter that fuels your Prayers, and the higher tiers cut it hard. Immaculatus is the clean tier, with no penalty at all, and the save starts you there. Die a lot and it climbs again. The Confessor will wash it off for Tears, and you have plenty.
Three Slots, Three Weapons
The first decision in Blasphemous 2 is your weapon, and the save covers all three choices. Veredicto is a war censer with the longest reach and slow, heavy swings, and it can't parry. Sarmiento & Centella pair a rapier with a dagger: fast and short, with a damage bonus that vanishes when you get hit. Ruego Al Alba, the praying blade, sits in the middle. Each slot starts with a different one, so you can try all three before you commit.
What The Penitent Two Asks For
Trophy guides rate the platinum 6/10 and put it at about 25 hours in one playthrough. Both endings come from the same file, because finishing the game drops you back at your last checkpoint. The bosses set the pace: Radamés, Orospina and Lesmes, the Sentinel of the Emery, then Benedicta, Odón, Sínodo and Svsona. Eviterno, Father of the Penitents, is the wall, with two health bars and four kinds of damage.
The rest of the list is patient exploring. You free all 33 of Próximo's cherub brothers, find nine Cobijadas and ten hidden symbols, and collect every Prayer, Rosary Bead and Figure. Three trophies want 300 kills with each weapon. Another wants every enemy type in the base game dead, and one skipped enemy means a long hunt. Two trophies stop most people. A Sharp Rendezvous wants the Sentinel of the Emery's room inside 30 minutes of a fresh file. Flawless Penance wants a boss kill without taking a single hit. True Martyrdom then asks for 100%.
