Six Twenties And A Level 12 Build To Plan
Point-buy at character creation stops at 15 before bonuses. After that, the Ability Improvement feat is the main way up, and it can't push a score past 20. A normal build picks two or three abilities to care about. This save sets Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma all at 20 on your main character.
That matters well beyond combat. Skill checks and saving throws add the matching ability modifier, so locks, traps and ambushes lean your way. Persuasion, Deception and Intimidation run on Charisma, and they decide a lot of BG3's conversations, sometimes before a fight even starts.
The experience for level 12 is banked, not spent. You choose the class, the subclass, the feats and the spells, and you can multiclass across the game's twelve classes if a build calls for it. One warning: a respec from Withers sends a character back to level 1 and through point-buy again. Leave your main character's sheet alone, or the twenties go with it. Companions keep their own stats.
What Half A Million Gold Buys
Faerûn has a dozen currencies, but every trader takes gold, and half a million of it buys out shop after shop. Charisma at 20 helps here too, because Persuasion shapes the prices traders give you. The gold also pays Withers to rebuild Shadowheart, Astarion or Karlach as often as you want to test a build. And with the full item set, gear that normally sits behind boss fights and act changes is already yours.
What The 55 Trophies Ask For
Trophy guides rate the platinum around 7 out of 10 and estimate 150-200 hours. Critical Hit, one of the three golds, means finishing the whole campaign on Tactician. On that setting enemies fight more aggressively, carry 20-30% more health and add +2 to their attack rolls and spell DCs. A long rest also costs 80 camp supplies instead of 40.
Four silvers come from the endings. Hero of the Forgotten Realms destroys the Absolute, and Absolute Power Corrupts takes control of the Netherbrain instead. Ceremorphosis means becoming a mind flayer to beat it. Sins of the Father, plus the bronze Embrace Your Urge, only exist for the Dark Urge, the origin character with Bhaal's blood.
The bronzes are where runs fall apart. Jack-of-all-Trades wants one character with a level in every class, with no help from Withers. She Cannot Be Caged asks you to rescue Sazza three times: in the Emerald Grove, the goblin camp and Moonrise Towers. Fancy Footwork means killing Gortash in Wyrm's Rock without setting off a single trap. Leave No One Behind wants every tiefling refugee you can save kept alive, and Busker wants a hundred gold earned from music in one playthrough.
Honour Mode And Foehammer, Part Of The Order
Honour Mode arrived later, in the free Patch 5. You get one save file, bosses gain legendary actions, and a party wipe either ends the run or drops it into Custom mode. Its trophy, Foehammer, is a gold in a separate group of its own. The platinum doesn't need it, but our order covers it anyway. You get all 47 bronze, 4 silver and 3 gold trophies, then the platinum, Pride of Baldur's Gate. That's 55 trophies, with no extra charge for Foehammer.

Which platforms does the Baldur's Gate 3 save work on?
PC and PS5. Choose yours on the order form. The Platinum Trophy service is for the PS5 trophy list, the only PlayStation version of the game.
Does every party member get 20 in all six abilities?
No. The 20s are on your main character only. Companions such as Shadowheart, Astarion and Lae'zel keep their own stats. Avoid a Withers respec on your main character, because it rebuilds the ability scores through point-buy.
Is my character already built at level 12?
The character has reached level 12, but the level-ups are left for you. You pick the class, subclass, feats and spells, including any multiclass split you want.
Can you unlock Foehammer, the Honour Mode trophy?
Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Foehammer sits in its own Honour Mode group and the platinum doesn't need it, but it is part of the order. You get 47 bronze, 4 silver and 3 gold trophies, Foehammer included, then the platinum.
