Attack on Titan 2 puts you in the 104th Cadet Corps as a scout of your own design, raised in Shiganshina alongside Eren, Mikasa and Armin. The fighting is fast, all ODM gear and nape cuts. Between missions, Daily Life takes over, and that is where the spending starts. Regiment Funds buy and upgrade your blades, Wings of Freedom pay for training and base research, and every friendship grows through talks, missions and gifts. The platinum then wants all of it at once: a 100% Gallery, every friendship maxed and gear upgraded with materials from Inferno Mode.

A Starter Save, Not A Finished One
This is a starter save. The campaign is still ahead of you, and the stats apply to the scout you create, so every early fight is about the Titans instead of the budget.
Money is Regiment Funds, and it buys and upgrades your blades, scabbards, ODM gear and horses. Wings of Freedom are the second currency. You spend them at the training field on ODM, hand-to-hand and lecture training, and on research that improves the bases you build in battle. Materials are what equipment upgrades eat, and on a normal run some of them only drop in Inferno Mode.
Gifts work on people instead of gear. Friendship rises when you talk to the cast, take them on missions and hand them gifts. Higher ranks add scenes to the Event Log, and rank 5 unlocks that character. Starting with every gift lets you raise each friendship as soon as that character joins.
Why The Gallery Eats Most Of The Platinum
Trophy guides put the platinum at 70-100 hours, and the 100% Gallery gold is most of that. The Gallery has five parts. Regiment History fills from the story cutscenes and every friendship scene. The Music Collection comes from clearing the story and Scout Missions, and the Muster Roll needs an S rank on every Scout Mission. The Equipment Field Guide wants every blade, scabbard, ODM gear and warhorse bought and upgraded. The Titan Guide wants every Titan type killed or captured.
The Equipment Field Guide is the trap. Its top upgrades need materials that only drop in Inferno Mode, so the usual plan is to clear the story and Scout Missions on normal difficulty, then play them again in Inferno. That is where trophy guides rate the game much harder, because the Female and Beast Titans can kill you in one hit.
Friendship, Dire Eliminations And The Rest
It's not so bad, being a goddess and all asks for every friendship at max. Some of those characters die in the story, so you replay their missions after the credits and change their fate: Marco, the Levi Squad, Miche, Nanaba and Gelgar, and Hannes among them. Dire Eliminations also open after the credits. Each episode hides a set of conditions that spawns a powerful Titan, and one gold wants every Story Mode Dire Elimination. Another trophy wants an S rank on every story episode, and each run has to finish inside 15 minutes.
The smaller trophies are counters: 1,000 enemies, 2,000 body parts, 100 bases built, 100 comrades saved, 1,000 Wings of Freedom spent and 100,000 Regiment Funds used. Nothing is missable, and no trophy needs online play.
