Waking the Grid Requirements
Accept Waking the Grid from Shani and unlock Spaceport. No quest item needs to be carried out. Bring a loadout suited to moving between exposed buildings and handling ARC near the port wall.
Adrenaline Shots can help with the crossing, while Seeker Grenades are useful if Wasps interfere. Stealth is possible in parts of the route, but prepare for the control-room breach and the trip through Arrival.
Activate the Security Sensors in a Guard Tower
The Guard Towers are square concrete structures along Spaceport's main port wall. Use a tower marked for the quest; the one east of Fuel Lines and west of Control Tower A6 is a convenient choice.
- Reach the tower and locate its route upward, including the zipline where available.
- Climb to the upper section and find the yellow-marked security console.
- Activate the sensors and confirm the objective update.
Nearby Control Tower A6 appears in Lost in Transmission and A Lay of the Land; Fuel Lines is also a stop in On the Map.
Start the Security Control Center in the Departure Building
The Departure Building is northwest of the recommended Guard Tower, across Fuel Lines. Enter from the south, remain on the first floor, and search the right-hand control-room area with metal cabinets.
- Cross Fuel Lines toward the southern Departure entrance.
- Turn toward the cabinet room on the first floor and breach its door if it is closed.
- Use BRING ONLINE at the red-lit security console and wait for the tracker to advance.

Search for Traces of a Security Breach in the Data Office
The last stop is the Data Office at the Arrival Building. Circle toward the building's northwestern side and look for the quest-accessible door before entering. The in-game objective calls it the Data Office, although some guides call it the Data Center.
- Approach Arrival from Departure and check the northwest side for the office entry.
- Enter the Data Office and find the large bank of old monitors.
- Use CUT THE WIRES at the desk below the monitors to register the security-breach evidence.

The Fastest Route Between All Three
Start at the Guard Tower east of Fuel Lines, cross northwest to the Departure Building, then continue to the Arrival Building. This keeps the objectives in geographic order without returning to the same side of Spaceport.
If your spawn puts you near another active Guard Tower, begin there and rejoin the route toward Departure. Confirm each interaction in the tracker before moving on.
Waking the Grid Rewards
Complete the Data Office interaction to finish the three-building objective route, then claim 1 Tactical Mk. 3 (Revival), 3 Vita Shots, and 5 Surge Shield Rechargers from Shani. Nothing needs to be carried to extraction as a handoff item.
