Weird West plays five Journeys back to back: the Bounty Hunter, the Pigman, the Protector, the Werewolf and the Oneirist. The frontier remembers everything. A shootout in town, a stolen deed or a dead companion stays that way for the rest of the run. Meanwhile Nimp Relics and Golden Aces of Spades are scarce, ore runs out before your favourite rifle reaches Gold tier, and a silver chest eats three lockpicks you probably don't have.

What The Save Loads Into Your Run
The save starts a fresh second playthrough with the difficulty on Very Hard and every map location already unlocked. Every ability and every perk is at its maximum, and you still carry 67 Nimp Relics and 31 Golden Aces of Spades. Nimp Relics buy abilities, both the class ones each hero learns alone and the weapon ones that carry over from hero to hero. Golden Aces unlock and level perks, three ranks each, and perks carry across all five heroes.
The stockpile is the real point. You get 2,000,000,000 of each of these:
- Bandages, Dr. Long's Antivenom, Invigorating Tonics and Sixth Sense Elixirs
- Lockpicks
- Gold, Silver and Copper Nuggets, plus Superior Bear Pelts, Bison Hides, Deer Leather and Snake Skins
- Wildfire Cocktails, Flashbangs and Cluster Dynamite
- Ammo for every weapon, and Dollar Coins
Those numbers change how the game plays. Invigorating Tonics refill Action Points, so you can chain abilities in every fight instead of saving them. Sixth Sense Elixirs show living things through walls for 30 seconds. Safes cost five lockpicks and silver chests three, which stops mattering. The nuggets take any weapon up to Gold tier, and the superior hides are what vests need at the tanning rack to reach the higher rarities.
The gear is already sorted too: 7 high-rarity weapons, 2 of them Legendary, 4 Legendary vests and 15 of the best amulets (each hero wears two). Your keyring sits at 30 of 30 keys. Reputation is maxed at 100, Western Legend, the rank above Revered, so trappers, protectors, devotees and Oneirists can all be recruited. One thing to know before you buy: the five Journey heroes carry custom names on this save, from Jonah Hex and ManBearPig to Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Why The Platinum Takes Planning
Trophy guides rate the list 3 out of 10 and put it near 20 hours, in a single playthrough if you play it carefully. The problem is how many trophies can slip away: guides flag 25 of them as missable, and some depend on choices made chapters earlier. The Heathen hands you a box in the first chapter, and opening it before the final chapter kills What's in the Box? for that run. Killing the Pigmen at the Soul Tree instead of sparing them closes off several later trophies. Getting the Gang Back Together wants all five heroes alive at the Broken Steppe Temple, so a fallen posse member means a reload.
Then there are the forks. Dirt and Blame wants the Protector to turn into a Wiindigo through greedy choices, which guides tell you to do on a separate save and then undo. The two golds are the endings: There is Hope saves the world and It All Dies ends it, depending on how you answer in the last cave. Hog Wild is pure luck, since you have to find Pigman Joe in a random saloon and beat him at poker. Scholar wants 50 books read, and Winter Has Come wants all three of Joe's snow globes.

Weird West has two lists. The PS4 version from 2022 has one, and the PS5 Definitive Edition from 2023 has its own, each with 54 trophies. Pick your console in the platform dropdown at checkout. The price is the same either way: $15 instant or $25 real.
