Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is the spiritual successor to Suikoden, led by its creator Yoshitaka Murayama, and it keeps the old rules. You recruit 120 heroes, grow your Headquarters castle through four levels, and lose the good ending if one recruit slips past the point of no return. Baqua And Headquarters Funds Are Two Different Purses
Baqua is the money in Nowa's pocket. Shops take it, and the trading posts turn it into more if you buy low and sell high. Headquarters Funds belong to the castle. They trickle in every 20 in-game minutes, grow with the castle's population, and pay for the 115 development panels in Iris's Drafting Studio, along with wood, stone and other materials. The usual top-up is selling spare materials to Caine at the Resource Depot. With both purses maxed, you build and shop without that juggling.
Every Weapon At The Cap
Town smithies stop at weapon level 12. Level 15 needs the castle Smithy fully upgraded, which takes Castle Level 4 plus Orichalcum and a Sacred Tree Chip from late in the story. Seventy-one fighters carry their own weapons, so maxing them by hand is a long errand. In this save every character's weapon already sits at max level, and every character has max XP, so the whole roster is ready for whatever lineup you pick.
What The 56 Trophies Ask For
Trophy guides call it one playthrough of about 100 hours, and rate it easy apart from one minigame. The story trophies come on their own. The platinum turns on Last One to Appear: all 120 heroes, with 114 recruited before you agree to start the final battle. Miss that and Leene, the 120th, never joins. The trophy for maxing every ally's weapon and possibly Card Game Champ go with her, and those three are the only missables.
The rest is long rather than hard. Invincible Hero wants Nowa at level 99, and the story ends with him around 60, so the gap comes from Endless Mode in the Hero's Trial. Hero Beyond Time and Space wants all 26 bosses of that trial. Town-Building Hero needs all 115 panels built, Treasure Hunter all 227 chests, and Hero of Commerce 1 million baqua earned through trading. Then come the minigames: every fish, every beigoma trainer, every card duel and every eggfoot race. The shi'arcraft races, Expert class included, are the ones trophy guides warn about, because the boats steer badly.
