Nearly A Billion Souls For The Fire Keeper

The soul cost of each level climbs steeply in Dark Souls 3. By the game's own formula, 987,654,321 souls would carry a fresh character past soul level 600. Max level is 802, with every stat at 99. In practice you level whatever your build needs and still have hundreds of millions left for the Shrine Handmaid.

That money buys more than levels. Feed the Handmaid the ashes you find and her shelves fill with Titanite, spells, weapons and armor. The teachers at Firelink Shrine sell their sorceries, pyromancies and miracles for souls too. Spend before a risky boss, though. Death still leaves your souls on the ground, and a second death erases them.

Two Of Every Weapon, Every Set, Every Arrow

Two copies of every weapon means you never choose between infusions. Give one a Sharp gem and the other Lightning, or keep a plain copy for the upgrade path that suits your stats. Every armor set is in the bag, and every arrow type sits ready for a bow build.

Every upgrade item is included, so Andre can take your favorite weapon to +10 as soon as you hand it over. Pick up a new weapon halfway through the game and it can be at +10 before the next boss.

Three Endings, 107 Rings And Eight Covenants

Trophy guides put the platinum at 80 to 100 hours over three playthroughs. The cycles are forced by Master of Rings. It wants all 107 rings in your inventory at once. Twenty-one of them are +1 rings that only exist from the second playthrough, and 16 are +2 rings that wait for the third.

Each ending is a gold trophy. To Link the First Flame is the default choice at the final bonfire. The End of Fire needs the Fire Keeper's Eyes from the Untended Graves, handed to the Fire Keeper before the final fight. The Usurpation of Fire is the one that ruins runs. It runs through Yoel and Yuria of Londor and Anri's questline, and you cannot cure your Hollowing along the way.

The rest is a long checklist. Master of Expression wants 33 gestures, mostly earned from NPC questlines. Master of Infusion wants all 15 infusions, which means finding the four coals for Andre and a gem of every type. Two covenants can be missed outright. The Mound-makers must be joined before you kill the Curse-rotted Greatwood. The Watchdogs of Farron are lost once their wolf is slain, which happens some time after the Abyss Watchers. Covenant items matter too. The Warmth pyromancy needs 30 Vertebra Shackles turned in to the Mound-makers.
