Ghost Recon Wildlands drops Nomad's four-man team into a Bolivia run by the Santa Blanca cartel, and it makes the Ghosts pay for every upgrade twice. A skill costs skill points, and also a stack of fuel, food, medicine or comms that mostly comes from rebel side missions. Points trickle in: leveling up gives very few, a boss gives 3 to 10, and each province hides another 6 to 8 to find.

Every Skill Branch, Paid In Full
Wildlands sorts its skills into five branches: Weapon, Drone, Item, Physical and Squad. C4 and mines sit under Item, the parachute too, and the explosive drone opens at level 15. With XP, skill points and all four resources at their maximum, nothing on the board waits for another supply run. The drone, the explosives and the rest can be bought in one sitting.
Rebel Support is the one tree points don't touch. Vehicle Drop-Off, Guns for Hire, Mortar, Diversion and Spotting only improve through Kataris 26 side missions that list them as the reward. Those you still earn in the field.
What Max Tier Level Means
Tier One Mode came in a free update. You enter at Tier 50 and climb toward Tier 1, and enemies get faster, deadlier and more accurate as you climb. Ranking up also brings weapon damage upgrades, new weapon variants and cosmetics. The save puts that Tier level at its maximum.
A Fresh Campaign With A Full Kit
Because the story starts from the beginning, you still open with Amaru's rescue in Itacua and take the cartel apart yourself. Each of the 21 provinces belongs to a buchon in one of four divisions: Influence, Security, Production or Smuggling. Take out enough buchones and a division's underboss opens up. Clear them all and the division head is exposed, and every fallen division leaves El Sueño weaker. You just do it with a fully trained Ghost and most of the shop already in your locker.
What The Wildlands Platinum Takes
Trophy guides rate it 3 to 4 out of 10 and put it at 50-60 hours, in one playthrough with nothing missable. Missions run in any order, and main missions can be replayed from the map. Two trophies need a co-op partner online: Teamwork wants 3 missions with another player, and Finished the Job wants a close-combat kill on an enemy someone else wounded.
The rest is grind and collecting. Only the Best and Top Drone want skills bought, and a third trophy wants one full branch. The Champion wants level 30, and Eagle-Eyed and Eye in the Sky want 100 enemies marked each with binoculars and drone. The six weapon Fanatic trophies want every weapon case, and The Whole Story and Legendary Hunter want every Kingslayer File, with document trackers known to show the wrong province. Guides also list a dozen trophies, including Pull, Long Shot and the Fanatic set, that can glitch for some players.
